Hi, Guys Mabuhay PIpol of the Universe! In today's video, we are going to tour the Government House in Sydney. Tara na pipol of the universe ????????????

Government House in Sydney is the official residence of the Governor of New South Wales. It is located in the Royal Botanic Garden, near the Sydney Opera House and Circular Quay.
The current Government House, known as the Gothic Revival Government House, was completed in 1845. It replaced an earlier Government House that was built in the early 19th century.
Government House serves as the official residence of the Governor of New South Wales, who is the representative of the Australian monarch. The Governor-General carries out various constitutional and ceremonial functions at the state level.
The building is designed in the Gothic Revival architectural style and features sandstone construction, turrets, and intricate detailing. It is considered an important example of colonial architecture.
The residence is surrounded by well-maintained grounds and gardens, which are part of the Royal Botanic Garden. The gardens are open to the public, providing a peaceful setting with views of Sydney Harbour.
Government House hosts various official functions, state dinners, and ceremonies. It is a venue for important events, including the swearing-in of ministers and the presentation of honours and awards.
Guided tours of Government House and its gardens are available to the public. Visitors can learn about the history of the residence, its role, and the significance of the Governor's position.
It's recommended to check the official website of the Government House or contact the relevant authorities for the latest information on public access, guided tours, and any events or functions that may be taking place.
Visiting Government House provides insight into Australia's constitutional and historical aspects, along with the opportunity to appreciate its architectural and natural surroundings.

Bird watchers Lake , Play equipment and BBQ area, Spiral Lookout - Wentworth Common - Olympic Park

Just across from the Ring Walk frog pond, you would easily drive past it's small entrance, only one entrance in and out of the Wentworth Common Park and lookout.
The name itself gives you no clue to what is in there. You can park either side, we just parked where the large Wentworth vertical sign was on Marjorie Jackson Parkway.

There are 3 things you should check out, close to the entrance
A large lake of marsh and water birds, great for for birdwatchers and nature photographers, you will also find toilets and bubbler there.

The Playground seems to be broken up into 2 sections, the first
has a large sandpit with sandstone carved statues of a lizard and a frog, this section also has a swing. The second section Is larger and has most of the play equipment: flying fox, web` and a slide. There are quite a few unusual decks where you can sit and relax taking in the nature. There are many types of stepping stones and stepping platforms, the kids will have a great time there. This area is fantastic if you want to picnic it has sheltered tables and chairs, bike rack BBQ’s and a small duck pond.

The last place to check out is the bay marker, a cone shape
mound with a gentle sloping footpath that spirals to the top.
When you get to the top lookout, views of the wetlands, Haslams Creek, Homebush Bay and the city skyline can be seen. Wentworth can be done on foot or by bike, we did it with scooters and it was fun spiraling down slowly down the Marker.

No shops inside so bring your own lunch. Enjoy your day.

BOURKE OUTBACK NSW (5 day Birdwatching trip) - Gundabooka N.P

Hey everyone!!
I'm Kickstarting this Channel with one of my FAVE places to go Birdwatching in Australia...The Back 'o Bourke inland NSW.
This time we visited the highly recommended Gundabooka N.P
We arrived just after some flooding rains in the Interior, which had receded enough to explore. There were many species about, but also not as concentrated as i had hoped like previous times after rain. There was so much extra lush habitat for them to expand into that they weren't concentrated majorly in any one area.
The trip STILL yielded an AWESOME selection of species for both myself & my Birdwatching buddy Lyn Martin.
Enough from me. Enjoy & i look forward to sharing my next Birding Adventure with you ????????
Some Birding Species highlights of the trip were: Swift Parrot (Visiting the Pilliga Scrub for the first time on the mainland), Chestnut-breasted Quail-thrush (Male & Female, preening each other under an Eromophila bush), Crested Bellbird, Chestnut-crowned Babbler, Bluebonnet, Spotted Bowerbird, Major Mitchell's Cockatoo, Pallid Cuckoo, Diamond Dove, Blue-billed Duck, Pink-eared Duck, Little Eagle, Splendid Fairywren, Black Falcon, Diamond Firetail, White-fronted Honeyeater, Yellow-tufted Honeyeater, Black-tailed Nativehen, Mulga parrot, Turquoise parrot x2, Red-capped Robin, Australasian Shoveler, Yellow-billed Spoonbill, White-browed Treecreeper, Southern Whiteface. (For a more extensive list, send me a message & i'll forward it 2 you)

Australian Ocean Racing Series 2022 & Sea Kayaking Around Sydney Harbour

I spontaneously decided to enter the first Australian Ocean Racing series for 2022. It's an 11km race from Milsons Point to Manly Cove Beach. I received first place, being the only sea kayaker in the division. My time was 01 hr 11 seconds , much slower than the winner's TEAM ELOUERA (Double Male Ski) with a time of 41.25 mins that's 15.2 km/h! Overall I placed 308 out of 351 competitors. After the race, I found myself keen to venture just a little further. I paddled around North Head to Shelly Beach in Manly and back to Milsons Point. A big day on the water, fun and adventure exploring around Sydney Harbour.

Thanks to my sponsors Mirage Sea Kayaks and Sydney Harbour Kayaks #expeditionproven #shk

Terrace Falls Park- Dog Friendly hidden gem - NSW Australia

In this episode we get the dogs out for the day to Terrace Fall Park, were we embark on a track to many beaitiful water falls and swimming spots.

Spectacular views of Man Made Lake that provides 80% of Sydney's water - Burragorang Lookout- Nattai

Burragorang Lake was created by the building of Warragamba Dam. It is three times the size of Sydney Harbour and provides about 80 per cent of Sydney’s water supply.
The lookout is an excellent place to view the lake, it has 3 sections of picnic grounds all with plenty of picnic tables, bench seating's and a few Free Electric BBQ's. Entry to the park is free but Parking for the day is $4 until 6pm.(before you pay, check fog conditions and if you can see the lake first). There are no shops around so bring your own lunch. Toilets are available.
Try get there after 10am as we went twice early morning March/April and came across thick fog on both occasion. We came back at 11:30am and it was fine.
Would love to see more wildlife, the area is known for its bird-life but we did not see many, most probably driven away by roaring bikers that seem to frequent the lookout. The Vlog was created from videos taken during our 3 trips there.
There was an old picnic area that had been cleaned up and the old bench seats and tables removed. Luckily we were able to Vlog the area on our first foggy visit 2 weeks prior. The lake footage was taken 2 days after the 2021 floods so the lake is brown in colour and it was not a clear day but the view was still spectacular. Have a nice day.

Park Entry:
Free

Parking fee:

$4 per vehicle per day. The park has pay and display machines - cash and credit cards accepted.

Location:
Burragorang Rd, Nattai NSW 2570
