Neste vídeo você acompanhará a saída do Barco Motor Comandante Paiva. O mesmo viaja de Nova Olinda do Norte até Manaus.

Esta embarcação mede 34m de comprimento e 7,80m de largura. Navega cerca de 40 anos da cidade de Nova Olinda do Norte até Manaus.
Dias de viagem: Domingo e quarta-feira.
Sai de Nova Olinda do Norte às 13hs e retorna de Manaus às 18hs.
Possuía 3 donos, os irmãos Paivas: Gracilazio, Graciano e Gerso. Com o tempo a embarcação foi comprada pelo atuais donos, Gracilazio Paiva e Esposa, Maria José Paiva.
Foi gravado na terceira semana do mês de Março de 2022 pelo fotógrafo Elbeli Silva no Porto da referida embarcação.

What is the Commander Paiva II boat like? In this video you will follow the departure of the Boat Motor Comandante Paiva. The same travels from Nova Olinda do Norte to Manaus.
In the video you will be informed about some curiosities of the vessel in addition to those that are contained here. This vessel measures 34m long and 7.80m wide.
It sails for about 40 years from the city of Nova Olinda do Norte to Manaus. Travel days: Sunday and Wednesday. It leaves Nova Olinda do Norte at 1 pm and returns from Manaus at 6 pm. It had 3 owners, the Paivas brothers: Gracilazio, Graciano and Gerso.
Over time, the vessel was purchased by the current owners, Gracilazio Paiva and Esposa, Maria José Paiva. It was recorded in the third week of March 2022 by photographer Elbeli Silva in the port of that vessel.

Manaus is a Brazilian city of about 2.5 million, located on the Rio Negro a few miles before it meets the Rio Solimões to form the Amazon River properly. The two rivers flow side by side for many miles, different in color, mixing in eddies: the Meeting of the Waters. Legend has it that they never mix. Manaus is no architectural gem, but does have some genuinely rewarding sights, including a leafy zoo and an interesting beach-and-museum combo. It’s a place to stock up on anything you forgot to pack, make reservations and begin your journey out into the jungle, or refill your tank with beer and internet after a week in the forest.
The wealth of the primeval forest becomes visible first of all in the architecture of the city. The city was rich and the rubber barons afforded the biggest luxury from Europe, a copy of the Grand Opera de Paris - the Teatro Amazonas. Other monuments from this epoch are the Mercado Municipal, a copy of the famous market halls Les Halles in Paris, and the arts center Palacio Rio Negro, located among fascinating Portuguese facades. Today Manaus is a foreign trade zone. Foreign enterprises don't pay import duties, what guarantees a certain income for the city and the region. Electronics, wood industry and oil refineries have settled in the outskirts in industrial areas. The harbor is the most important trading center in the city with regional, national and international products.
The city is pleasant and friendly, although quite hot, and is still a major port, and a good starting point for river tours. The Rio Negro (northern) branch of the Amazon is the color of strong tea, peaty brown and its comparative acidity means few mosquitoes. At Manaus the Amazon rises and falls almost twenty meters between seasons. In May and June it's at its peak, full and very wide, spreading way out into the trees. In November and December it's low; still massive but with sandbars.
There are many local buses within the city. At bus stops there are only numbers, but on the front of the buses themselves the destinations are listed. Fare is R$3, either pay before entering the station (if boarding at a station), or onboard. There are a number of companies operating jungle adventure trips from Manaus, but only a few seem to be more established and reputable. First you need to check if the Tour Operator has a valid Embratur (Brazilian Tourism Board) registry. Then you make up your mind what you really want. You need to travel at least 100km from Manaus to see virgin rain forest and the wild life you are looking for.
Because of Manaus' location next to the Amazon rainforest, it attracts a substantial number of Brazilian and foreign tourists, who come to see wildlife on land and in the rivers. It is also home to one of the most endangered primates in Brazil, the pied tamarin.
Tour boats leave Manaus to see the Meeting of the Waters, where the black waters of the Negro River meet the brown waters of the Solimoes River, flowing side by side without mixing for about 9 km (6 mi). Visitors can also explore river banks and igarapes, swim and canoe in placid lakes, simply walk in the lush forest or stay at hotels in the jungle.
Manaus has also many large parks with native forest preservation areas, such as the Bosque da Ciência and Parque do Mindú. The largest urban forest in the world is located within the Federal University of Amazonas, which was founded on January 17, 1909 and is the oldest federal university in Brazil.
Manaus also has several Malls such as Manauara Shopping, Amazonas Shopping Center, Millennium Shopping, Shopping Ponta Negra, Studio 5 Festival Mall, Shopping Cidade Nova, Manaus Plaza Shopping, Shopping Sao José and other small Shopping Areas. Most of these malls include large food courts and movie theaters.
