Welcome back to Australia and part two of this adventure to Brisbane with Jetstar! Just 90 minutes up the road is the Sunshine Coast, a world class stunner with over 60km worth of coast. We're briefly checking out Mooloolaba then on to Noosa Heads.
Noosa is in the state of Queensland, about a two-hour drive north of Brisbane. It's famous for its pristine beaches, with the main beach running parallel to Hastings Street, the main shopping and restaurant street. This is a classic laid-back coastal vibe, almost year round sun, happy people, and a care free lifestyle - we could get used to that!

Noosaville on the Sunshine Coast.
It's been a busy time after moving to the Sunshine Coast with lots of unpacking, setting up our compost system, veggie garden and some minor enhancements around the place. So, time to relax - and where better than a riverfront restaurant at Noosaville? We start our afternoon with lunch at Gusto Riverfront Restaurant, then we take you to a couple of our 'special places' in Noosaville (we hope you like them as much as we do ❤️ ).
Then it's off to nearby Sunshine Beach, home to some of the most expensive houses in the Sunshine Coast. Follow us home as we pass by some of our neighbours.....????????????????

Noosa - where do you go to get away from the crowds? Noosa is ever-increasingly growing as a tourism destination. Now that the borders are open, the crowds have returned during the high season. We ❤️ Noosa, but as a Sunshine Coast local, where do we go to also experience Noosa when it's busy - but without always having a crowd around? We have a handful of suggestions of places we like to go to in the peak Summer holiday season....and we want to share them with you......after all, there's nothing like having a piece of Noosa all to yourself is there?!

Hi, we're Beth & Paul from Brisbane, Australia and we love to travel!
Paul retired on 28th February 2020 and on the 1st March 2020, we set out on a 6-month adventure around South East Asia. This was a well-planned once-in-a-lifetime travel experience! It was our intention to show you how you can have a great time travelling without spending a fortune.
Our timing wasn't great - with the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus and subsequent global turmoil less than a month into our trip.
Until it is safe to travel internationally again, we turn our focus on travelling around Queensland and sharing everything our beautiful State has to offer!
