6 weeks into my exploration of the Caucasus region, I was coming to the last leg of my journey. After crossing the Georgia/Armenia border by overnight train and spending a few days in the capital city of Yerevan, I was eager to experience rural Armenia. In my opinion, the best way to truly understand a country is to visit its villages and spend time with a local family.
I had the opportunity to spend a few days in a village called Bjni and stayed with a lovely agricultural family. I learned about how they live off the land and even celebrated my host's birthday with his family while attempting to overcome language barriers and connect with this wonderful Armenian family.
This type of destination isn't glamorous when compared to what you would see on regular social media. This village would often be overlooked and staying with a local family with language barriers wouldn't be a tourist's number one choice. I came intending to immerse myself in the local culture, and people and learn about different ways of living. The fact that we didnt speak each other's language and had never met definitely put me out of my comfort zone.
I didn't know what to expect, what the video would be like or the kind of structure it would be. It was all spontaneous. I simply told myself to trust this process, observe, and be patient. Oftentimes the biggest challenges one could have comes from our way of thinking. At that very moment, my sense of doubt came from a place of not knowing and exploring the uncertainty. If I'd have chosen to follow and believe that sense of doubt, nothing would've come out of that experience. I am very grateful that the family welcomed me with open arms as it was such a heartwarming and humbling experience. I decided to see beauty in simplicity.

हमारे विमानों पर यात्रा करते समय किसी भी व्यक्ति को अपने पास / केबिन बैगेज में या पंजीकृत सामान में निम्नलिखित वस्तुएं ले जाने की अनुमति नहीं है। नीचे दी गई सूची सम्पूर्ण नहीं है तथा इस पर प्रभावी नियम लागू होंगे।
वस्तुएं जो हाथ के सामान में नहीं ले जाई जा सकतीं
निजी वस्तुएं
लाइटर, धातु की नुकीली नोक वाली कैंची, खिलौना हथियार की वास्तविक प्रतिकृति ।
नुकीली वस्तुएं
बॉक्स कटर, आइस एक्सिस/आइस पिक्स, चाकू (किसी भी लंबाई तथा प्रकार के चाकू बिना धार के बटर तथा प्लास्टिक कटलरी को छोड़कर), मीट क्लीवर, रेज़र टाइप ब्लेड्स जैसे बॉक्स कटर, उपयोग में लाए जाने वाले चाकू, बिना काटराइज़ के रेज़र ब्लेड, किन्तु इसमें सेफ्टी रेज़र सेवर, स्वार्ड शामिल नहीं हैं।
खेल का सामान
बेसबॉल बैट, तीर-कमान, क्रिकेट बैट, गोल्फ क्लब, हॉकी स्टिक्स, लैक्रॉसे स्टिक्स, पूल क्यू, स्की पोल्स, स्पीयर गन।
गन तथा फायरआर्म

बिली क्लब, ब्लैक जैक्स, ब्रास नक्कल, कूबाटन, मेस/पैपर स्प्रे, मार्शल आर्ट के शस्त्र, नाइट स्टिक, ननचाकुस, मार्शल आर्ट/आत्म रक्षा की वस्तुएं, स्टन गन/शॉकिंग उपकरण, थ्रोइंग स्टार्स।
वस्तुएं जिन्हें हाथ के सामान और यहां तक कि चैक्ड-इन सामान में भी नहीं ले जाया जा सकता ।
विस्फोटक सामग्री
जैसे फ्लेयर गन, गन लाइटर तथा गन पाउडर, विस्फोटक सामग्री। ब्लास्टिंग कैप, डायनामाइट, आतिशबाजी, फ्लेयर्स (किसी भी प्रकार के), हैंड ग्रेनेड, प्लास्टिक विस्फोटक तथा विस्फोटकों की वास्तविक प्रतिकृतियां।
कम्प्रैसड गैस
जैसे (ज्वलनशील तथा जहरीली सम्पीडि़त गैस) यथा ब्यूटेन, ऑक्सीजन, तरल नाइट्रोजन तथा एक्वालंग सिलेन्डर्स
ज्वलनशील वस्तुएं

जहर तथा संक्रामक पदार्थ
जैसे कीटनाशक, वीड किलर्स और जीवित वायरस सामग्री
रेडियोएक्टिव सामग्री
संक्षारक
जैसे एसिड, क्षार, पारा, वैट सेल बैटरियां (जो व्हील चेयर में लगी हैं, उन्हें छोड़कर), ओवन या ड्रेन क्लीनर्स
अन्य खतरनाक वस्तुएं
जैसे चुम्बकीय, आक्रामक या उत्तेजक सामग्री। अलार्म उपकरण लगे ब्रीफकेस तथा अटैची केस।
प्रतिबंधित वस्तुएं
कुछ अन्य वस्तुएं जिन्हें एअर इंडिया, इंटरलाइन वाहकों तथा स्थानीय विनियमों की नीतियों के अनुसार केवल अग्रिम अनुमोदन लेकर ही वहन किया जा सकता है।
स्पिलेबल/नॉन-स्पिलेबल बैटरियों वाली बैटरी-पावर व्हील चेयर, ड्राई आइस, पोर्टेबल मेडिकल इलैक्ट्रॉनिक उपकरण आदि।
बैगेज टिप्स
यात्रा का आनंद लेने के लिए कम सामान के साथ यात्रा करें। सामान को अनुचित ढंग से वहन करने से बहुत असुविधा हो सकती है। यात्री सुनिश्चित कर लें कि उनका सामान उचित रूप से पैक व टैग किया गया है। निम्नलिखित टिप्स उपयोगी रहेंगे:
यात्री अपने हैंड बैगेज सहित अपने सारे बैगेज तथा उसमें रखे सामान की हर समय स्वयं सुरक्षा करें।
सुनिश्चित कर लें कि आपको नि:शुल्क चैक्ड बैगेज तथा हैंड बैगेज सीमा की जानकारी है।
हैंड बैग अथवा चेक-इन बैग में कुछ सामानों को वहन करने संबंधी प्रतिबंधों की नवीनतम जानकारी प्राप्त कर लें।
अपने चैक्ड बैगेज में कोई मूल्यवान वस्तु न डालें।
सामान नि:शुल्क वहन करने की सीमा से अधिक सामान हो जाने पर अतिरक्ति सामान प्रभार लिया जाएगा जिसमें ड्यूटी फ्री खरीद भी सम्मिलित है।
अपने बैग पर अपने नाम तथा पते का लेबल ठीक प्रकार से लगाए तथा पिछली उड़ान के टैग तथा लेबलों को निकाल दें।
अपने हैंड बैग सहित सभी बैग्स में हर समय ताला लगा कर रखें व सतर्क रहें।
किसी की ओर से ऐसे पैकेज अथवा सामान का वहन न करें जिसमें रखे सामान की जानकारी आपको न हो।
अनजान व्यक्तियों से कोई पैकेट स्वीकार न करें।
कुछ मामलों में कनेक्टिंग प्वाइंट पर, सुरक्षा या स्थानीय सीमा शुल्क विनियमों के कारण आपको अपने बैगेज की पहचान या क्लेम करना पड़ सकता है।
किसी भी समय विशेषकर एयरपोर्ट एरिया में, अपने बैगेज को लावारिस न छोड़े। संदेहास्पद होने के कारण लावारिस सामान एयरपोर्ट सुरक्षा स्टाफ द्वारा हटाया जा सकता है।
अपने निजी सामानों तथा हैंड बैगेज के लिए उड़ान के दौरान के साथ-साथ हर समय सावधानी बरतें।
चेक-इन से पूर्व सुनिश्चित कर लें कि यदि आप हथियार अथवा विस्फोटक पदार्थ वहन कर रहे हैं तो उसकी घोषणा अवश्य करें। इसे छुपाना विमान अधिनियम एवं नियमों के तहत एक अपराध है।
चेक-इन काउंटर पर जाने से पहले, आपको अपने सामान के सभी नगों की जांच सुरक्षा कर्मियों द्वारा प्रचालित एक्स–रे मशीन से करानी अपेक्षित है।
सुनिश्चित कर लें कि आप अपनी दवाइयां, महत्तवपूर्ण दस्तावेज़, मूल्यवान वस्तुएं तथा नकद अपने हैंड बैगेज में ही रखें ताकि आप उन्हें आसानी से ले सकें व सुरक्षित रख सकें।
