Newhall Mains Scotland, a hotel for GA pilots - Charlie's high speed review
Back in May 2021 I flew myself up to Scotland for the first time, initially Glenforsa then Newhall Mains. It was such a surprise. Here's a quick review of my room with some good drone footage.
It's a fantastic place to base yourself from for some highland flying, up at the top of the Great Glen.
Videos can take a few weeks to edit properly, so follow me on instagram for more timely updates.

Old Photographs Aviemore Highlands Scotland
Tour Scotland wee video of old photographs of Aviemore, Scottish Gaelic: An Aghaidh Mhòr, now a tourist resort, situated within the Cairngorms National Park in the Highlands in Badenoch and Strathspey. It is popular these days for skiing and other winter sports, and for hill walking in the Cairngorm Mountains. The village began to grow as a result of it becoming a railway junction in 1898. The railway station is located on the Highland Main Line between Perth, Perthshire, and Inverness, Highlands. The line was opened by the Inverness and Perth Junction Railway in 1863, subsequently becoming part of the Highland Railway. The current station was opened in 1898, to designs by the architect William Roberts. when the direct line to Inverness via Slochd was built, making Aviemore an important junction and replacing the original 1863 building. William Roberts also provided an engine shed to the north of the station in 1896.

Dalmuir Station is located on Scotrail's Glasgow Suburban Rail network; with only Scotrail services calling here
The station itself is located on the line between Partick via Yoker or Singer and Dumbarton Central
Services at the time of filming were all operated using Class 156/318/320 and Class 334 Electric Multiple Units:
The Class 156, 318 and Class 320's are currently on the cards to be withdrawn from service soon, with a new contract being up for tender to build brand new trains for the Glasgow Suburban Network whilst this was being filmed:

A sunny but chilly Friday evening on 5th April 2013 saw the Marching Season begin in Lanarkshire with the Blood and Thunder of Dykehead Sons Of William who were hosting their 20th anniversary parade.
