We travel with a Microsoft Surface everywhere we go. I edit my videos on it & use it to backup my pictures and vides while we travel. It’s light and the best travel laptop on the market in my opinion.
We use Sony Alpha series cameras to film our videos. They are compact so you don’t look like a super tourist when you take great pictures and videos while you travel.
We use Manfrotto Tripods. They are compact, travel well, and honestly I would not use another tripod for my nice cameras.
Travel Plug that works in pretty much any country & has four USB ports. A must for any traveler.

We are stepping back in time to Oregon’s volcanic past with a visit to the Newberry National Volcanic Monument. This landscape is the closest you can get to the moon's surface - even Nasa tested their equipment here before using it in space.
About 1,300 years ago, the big obsidian lava flow rushed across the high desert and covered 700 acres of land. The hike offers panoramic views of the string of Cascade volcanoes to the north — Mt. Bachelor, Broken Top, and the Three Sisters. We notice obsidian stones everywhere along the hike. Within Newberry National Monument, we hike to the two falls at Paulina Falls tumble 80 feet into the Newberry Caldera. We explore the Deschutes National Forest and Paulina Lake.
