Route 66 Drive (Kingman, AZ To Oatman, AZ)-VERY SCENIC!! (Plus, Our Unintended Detour)
This video features the 28 mile drive from Kingman, Arizona, to the town of Oatman. This is some of the most rugged and scenic terrain on the entire Route. The scenery is indescribable!
MONOLITH GARDEN TRAIL KINGMAN ARIZONA
Located in Kingman Arizona, roughly an hour and 45 minutes drive from Las Vegas is the 6.4-mile round trip Monolith Garden Trail. The hike is labeled as moderate, also with 580ft of elevation gain. This is a really cool trail that takes you deep into the desert and shows you some pretty amazing rock monoliths. This is a great hike if you don't want to see a lot of people and desire tranquility. I was very impressed, and I'm glad I finally made it out to do this hike. lf you ever want to take a day trip from Las Vegas, or if you're passing through Kingman, this would be a good one to check out.
Please be sure to download the map from alltrails before you do this hike. This is a very hard trail to follow otherwise, and you will get lost.

US 93 South ~ Kingman to Scottsdale
U.S. Route 93 (US 93) is a major north–south United States highway in the western United States. The southern terminus is at US 60 in Wickenburg, Arizona. The northern terminus is at the Canada–US border north of Eureka in Lincoln County, Montana, where the roadway continues into Roosville, British Columbia, as Highway 93. Major cities that US 93 travels through include: Las Vegas, Nevada; Twin Falls, Idaho; Missoula, Montana; and Kalispell, Montana.
US 93 begins at US 60 in Wickenburg, a small town about 50 miles northwest of Phoenix. 30 miles northwest of Wickenburg, it passes through a large forest of Joshua trees, and is thus labeled the Joshua Forest Parkway of Arizona until it reaches Wikieup.

This is it. Before I embark on my next road trip, I needed to clear out the backlog from the previous trip. This is the last video from that trip. Traveling along I-40 from the US 93 interchange east of Kingman, we follow the interstate into Kingman where US 93 departs us to head to Las Vegas. From there, we continue west towards California. This was needed to start the Route 66 videos from where they began. So while this might be the end of videos from the Kingman area, this will also mark the beginning of our next trip. So buckle in, and get ready. Forgotten Hwy will soon be hitting the road once again!

BRUNSWICK HOTEL, KINGMAN, AZ HAUNTED
Haunted Hotel Brunswick...now shuttered by the owners. This hotel has one of the few documented accounts of apports. A short history of what may be the cause of the activity and previous false history. The hotel was advertised to reopen in 2015 by owners. All photographs and film clips from the 1939 movie Stagecoach are 1940 or older and in the public domain.
Route 66: Oatman, AZ to Kingman, AZ
This is a great ride, very scenic with lots of twisties. Actually wish I put my camera on before we got to Oatman, as it had more great Rt-66 stuff from right where the route itself starts just outside Golden Shores. This ride would have been even better without the red Vegas Baby car in front of us going just fast enough to prevent passing. Still, I seriously considered turning around and going back through these twisties again! :D This ride was done on my 2011 Can-Am Spyder RT. A machine I absolutely love, even if most HD riders refuse to wave back.
