Neunkirchen (Nine Churches) is a town in Austria. A village with the same name exists though in Germany and Switzerland. The town of Neunkirchen has 11,000 citizens and is part of the region of Lower Austria (Niederösterreich Österreich). Neunkirchen has two castles in its outskirts: Burg Seebenstein and Burgruine Turkensturz. Burg Seebenstein is a medieval castle on the hilltop outside the town. The foundation of the castle was laid in the early 13 hundreds but the castle was probably finished in the 17th century during which the latest restoration was made. The Castle of Turkensturz was built around 1532 and had to help defend Austria against the Turkish Ottoman invasion.

Stolz präsentiere ich mein bisher aufwändigstes Projekt.
Landscape Moments from Austria zeigt Zeitrafferaufnahmen die ich in den letzten zwei Jahren in Österreich gesammelt habe. Seit meiner ersten aufgenommenen Sequenz, hat mich die Zeitraffer Fotografie immer mehr fasziniert.
Viele Orte musste ich öfters bereisen um die Aufnahme zu bekommen, die ich mir vorgestellt habe. Schlaflose Nächte, nasse Kleidung, Kälte oder andere ungemütliche Situationen außerhalb der Komfortzone mussten in Kauf genommen werden.
Einen ganz besonderen Dank möchte ich an dieser Stelle an die Personen richten, die mich während der gesamten Zeit dieses Projektes unterstützt und begleitet haben.

Landscape Moments from Austria shows time lapse recordings of Austria which I
have collected over the past two years. Time-lapse photography increasingly fascinated me since my first recorded sequence.
I had to frequently travel and visit locations to get to the shot I had imagined.
Sleepless nights, wet clothes, cold weather and other uncomfortable situations outside
of my comfort zone were things I gladly accepted.

Driving Austria: B26 Wiener Neustadt - Neunkirchen - 4k scenic alpine drive under Schneeberg
We are driving again into The Austrian Alps, this time exploring the region around the famous Schneeberg Peak, close to the country's capital city of Vienna. The Schneeberg, with its 2,076-metre (6,811 ft) high summit Klosterwappen, is the highest mountain of Lower Austria, and the easternmost and northernmost mountain in the Alps to exceed 2000 m. It is a distinctive limestone massif with steep slopes on three sides. We are exploring the eastern slope of it, driving to the main acces point to it, the town of Puchberg. There are many hiking trails and great ski areas nearby, and also a rack-and-pinion railway, the Schneeberg Railway, now over 100 years old, that climbs to a height of 1,800 m. Enjoy!

Prein an der Rax ist ein schöner Ort in der Gemeinde Reichenau an der Rax in Niederösterreich. Reichenau an der Rax liegt im Bezirk Neunkirchen.
Prein an der Rax liegt am Fuße der Rax. Die Berge sind wunderschön und ein Wanderparadies. Es gibt eine Seilbahn auf die Rax, die man nutzen kann.
Die Pfarrkirche Prein an der Rax, das Musikpavillon im Kurpark Reichenau an der Rax und der Kurpark selbst sind nur einige der Sehenswürdikeiten. Das wunderschöne Musikpavillon ist erbaut von Carl Weinzettel.
Das Doderer-Denkmal, ein Kunstwerk von Kurt Ingerl und der Riegelhof in Prein an der Rax sind auch sehenswert, leider haben wir keine Fotos davon gemacht.
Der Rigelhof war die Sommerresidenz von der Heimito von Doderer und seiner Familie.

Prein at the Rax is a beautiful place in the town Reichenau in Neunkirchen in lower Austria.
It lies at the foot of the Rax. The mountains are beautiful and a hiking paradise. There is a cable car to the Rax that you can use.
The church in Prein at the Rax, the music pavilion in the Kurpark Reichenau and the Kurpark itself are just a few of the sights. The beautiful music Pavilion has been built by Carl Weinzettel.
The Doderer monument, a work of art by Kurt Ingerl and the Riegelhof in Prein at the Rax are also worth seeing. Unfortunately, we haven’t taken any photos of them.
The Riegelhof was the summer residence of the Heimito von Doderer and his family.
