Legoland Deutschland Resort - a theme park in Günzburg, Germany, roughly half way from Munich to Stuttgart, which opened in 2002. It is 43.5 hectares in area, and it is one of the 4 most popular theme parks in Germany.

NEW in 2018: 5:48 - Lego Star Wars
Legoland Deutschland was opened on May 17, 2002 in Günzburg, Germany. The park opened nine months earlier than planned by Merlin Entertainments Group. On opening year, the park welcomed 1.35 Million visitors. All of the lighting for the park was done by Gallegos Lighting Design which had done the lighting for Legoland California Resort and the sound and video production for the park was done by Edward Technologies Inc. The park features Lego explore centers, roller coasters, water attractions and shows. When it opened in 2002, it contained 40 attractions, 7 themed lands and was made out of 50 million Lego bricks. 10 years later, the park expanded to eight “adventure worlds” with 50 attractions and 55 million Lego bricks. Legoland Deutschland is home to the world's largest Lego building, representing Munich's Allianz Arena and weighing 1.5 tons with dimensions of 5 meters in width and 1 meter in height. Legoland Deutschland also contains many other world records such as the largest Lego flower bed (2007), largest amount of energy generated through cycling underwater (2010), highest Lego tower (2010), largest Lego mosaic (2011), longest Lego millipede (2002), and the largest Lego brick (2005).

Prepare to get dizzy as we climb up the world's tallest church - Ulm Minster. Ulm Cathedral (Ulmer Münster) is a Lutheran church located in Ulm, Germany. It is the world's tallest church, pending the eventual completion of the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, Spain. Ulm Minster has a steeple measuring 161.5 metres (530 ft).
Visitors to Ulm Cathedral can climb all 768 steps that lead to the top of the minster's spire. There is a fantastic panoramic view at 143 m (469 ft), giving an amazing view of of Ulm in Bavaria. On a clear day, you can see the Alps.
Today we climb up Ulm Minster, then enter inside the intricate church and see how grand it truly is!

Ulm is a city in the south German state of Baden-Württemberg & one that we've had on our bucket list for quite some time! In the center of the historic old town is the huge Gothic Ulm Minster. Its steeple has views of the city and, in clear weather, the Alps! We didn't go up to the top due to construction, but the experience is highly recommended.
Germany is known for its half-timbered houses and Ulm has so many of them in the narrow alleys of the Fischerviertel. While here make sure to walk along the city wall next to the River Danube, and definitely try some Swabian food! :) It's a wonderful city and we now understand why everyone loves Ulm! :)

Legoland Germany Rides and Review from our Family of 5!
The following video will highlight our fun-filled day at Legoland Germany. We give some of the top rides a whirl and share some feedback with you all about our day.
The rides that our kids were looking forward to the most was of course Ninjago Land and Rides, as well as the new Virtual Reality Roller Coaster ride.
We were also keen to check out Legoland Germany Star Wars mini-land as well.
Overall we really loved the family-focus that this theme park has. Baby changing rooms were available everywhere. Strollers were available to rent. There is a little baby shop where you can buy baby food and supplies if you run out.
They are also really great with adding in toddler-friendly play areas next to the popular 'big kids' rides as well. Which made my life a lot easier as I waited for the older kids to have some fun.

Ulm (2023) is a city in Baden-Württemberg, Germany and the birthplace of Albert Einstein. Ulm is located on the river Danube on the border of Bavaria and is the administrative seat of the Alb-Donau region (Stadtkreis). The city was a free Reichsstadt (free imperial city) and became very rich in the Middle Ages as it was situated halfway Stuttgart and Munich ( München) situated on the river Danube on the border with Bavaria.
Ulm has a of more than 130,000 and forms a metropolitan region of its own (German: Stadtkreis). Moreover, it is the administrative seat of the Alb-Donau district. Ulm is world known for having the highest and tallest steeple in the world with 162m (or 530 ft) and the Gothic Minster (Ulmer Münster).

Das Legoland Günzburg ist ein super Ausflugstipp für Familien. Der Film zeigt euch einige der vielen Attraktionen im Legoland Deutschland.
Wir besuchten den Freizeitpark Legoland Deutschland in Günzburg im August (in den Sommerferien) es war leider sehr viel los so dass wir sehr lange Wartezeiten mitbringen mussten. Wer also etwas von seinem Eintrittspreis haben möchte der meidet lieber die Ferien- oder Feiertage. Wir mussten teilweise eine dreiviertel Stunde bis Stunde an den Attraktionen anstehen.

STREET VIEW: Innenstadt von Ulm in GERMANY
Wir starten unseren Rundgang durch Ulm mit Blick auf den berühmten Münsterturm. Er ist der höchste auf der Welt und deshalb nur schwer ins Bild zu bekommen. Es geht weiter über den Münsterplatz und einmal um das Münster herum, bevor wir die Umlaufbahn in Richtung Ulmer Rathaus und Marktplatz verlassen. Durch den Metzgerturm gehen wir hinunter bis zum Donauufer mit Blick auf Neu-Ulm. Unter der Metzig und den Weinhof geht es dann in Richtung Fischerviertel. Durch die Fischergasse gehen wir hinunter bis zum Setra-Museum und dann durch die Schwörhausgasse unter der Neuen Straße hindurch in die Lautengasse. Anschließend geht es über die Glöcklergasse in die Hirschstraße zurück auf den Münsterplatz.

Although sometimes Ulm Minster is being referred to as Ulm Cathedral because of its great size, Ulm Minster is not a cathedral as it has never been the seat of a bishop. Ulm Minster was begun in the Gothic era but not completed until the late 19th century.
