Ramai betul orang dah masuk Thailand! Tapi kan, kebanyakannya menuju ke Hatyai. Salah satu destinasi yang sangat popular ketika ini. Masalahnya, sesak. Sesak beratur di sempadan, sesak semasa di kedai makan Hatyai, sesak di pasar dan hotel pun penuh! Itu belum masuk harga jualan di sana. Memang peniaga-peniaga mengambil kesempatan meningkatkan harga barang.

Jadi, apa kata, jom ronda ke Narathiwat. Walaupun Narathiwat ini tidak mendapat tempat di hati pengunjung, namun lebih tenang berada di sana. Cubalah berkunjung sekali. Anda akan rasa pelancongan ini sangat berbaloi.

Tanya rakyat Malaysia, pernah tak melawat ke Narathiwat? Agak ramai yang menjawab hanya lalu sahaja untuk ke wilayah lain di Thailand. Tak pun, tak tak pernah langsung. Sebabnya, rakyat kita dimomokkan dengan bom, senjata api, dan segala macam yang menakutkan.

Padahal, bandar Narathiwat ini sangat damai dan sama sahaja macam di negara kita.

Berbanding di wilayah lain, Narathiwat agak dipandang sepi oleh orang Malaysia. Mereka banyak didedahkan dengan Hatyai dan Songkhla.

Di Narathiwat ini, semuanya murah. Boleh travel secara bajet. Kuih nasi RM2.50 pun boleh beli lagi. Kuih 50 sen saiz besar pun ada dijual.

Segalanya murah di sini. Murah berganda-ganda perbelanjaan berbanding di wilayah lain. Mereka juga ramai pandai bercakap Bahasa Melayu-Siam

Apa kata, rakyat kita tune ke wilayah Narathiwat pula. Selamat sebenarnya.

Unexpected First Day In Pattani ???????? Thailand's 'Dangerous' South

We had a pretty unexpected first day here in Pattani, come join us for our first Impressions of this city in Thailand's Deep South.

We first explored Pattani Chinatown which is really impressive then we got kidnapped by a friendly local tour guide from Pattani called Joh!

From here we spent the whole morning with a group of super nice Thai teachers from Bangkok as we drove around to see various tourist sights of Pattani.

We then checked out an incredibly beautiful Chinese temple, had a huge coconut ice cream sandwich for 20 thai baht, checked out some buddhist temples before we finally ended the day at the huge Pattani central mosque which really is impressive.

Pattani and the deep Southern states of Yala, Narathiwat, Songkhla have a very bad reputation but for those willing to travel down here it really is rewarding the people are so kind hearted and the countrysides/coasts are gorgeous.

Apa la nak buat kat bandar Narathiwat sampai 3 hari kat sana. Ada macam-macam perkara. Apa yang perlu anda buat yang pertama adalah melihat budaya orang Selatan Thailand. Melalui dengan mendekati kawasan penuh sesak orang tempatan, anda dapat merasai pengalaman yang lebih dekat.

Narathiwat ini tidaklah terlalu besar. Jadi, dalam sehari sahaja dah boleh cover semua. Cuma, sekadar touch n go jela. Kami memilih untuk slow travel.

Pindah tempat penginapan. Bosan jugak kalau menginap di satu tempat sahaja. Hanya ingin mendapatkan suasana baru.

Di video kali ini, kami menunjukkan bagaimana kami menjadi tempat penginapan lain serta menikmati bandar Narathiwat tanpa sebarang perancangan tetap.

Narathiwat Beach (Boats & Groynes)

This sandy Beach stretches for 5 kilometers and is located near the estuary of the Bang Nara River. The beach is naturally decorated with dense pine trees, which provide a tranquil shady area suitable for pitching tents. Several beachside restaurants serving southern-style cuisine and accommodation facilities are provided. A great place to have a picnic by the beach!

A groyne is an active structure extending from the shore into the sea, most often perpendicular or slightly oblique to the shoreline. Adequate supply of sediment and existence of medium-strong longshore sediment transport are major conditions of groynes efficiency.

A kolae boat is a traditional fishing boat used in the lower southern provinces of Thailand. It is a small coastal boat, between 10 and 12.5 metres long, the bow and the stern being higher than the hull. Designs on the boat are a combination of Malay, Javanese, and Thai styles, with emphasis on Thai patterns, such as a running scroll design, lotus, serpents, magic monkeys, and heads of birds in literature like Burong Si-ngo or Singhapaksi (a creature with the body of a lion and the head of a bird holding a fish with its beak) at the bow
