We also include road trip to North West Maui, attractions being Kapalua Coastal trail, Dragon's Teeth, Nakalele Blowhole, Honolua Bay, Kapalua labyrinth, Makaluapuna Point, Olivine Pools and Waihee Ridge Trail. We just had the best staycation weekend in North West Maui. Let us show you all the things to do on this quiet part of Maui - the northwest Maui coast.
Celebrities aren’t the only ones who can enjoy this part of Maui. Escape the crowds around Ka’anapali and Wailea by staying and playing on this part of the island.
Erica, Henry, and I will show you all there is to do around this rugged and tropical side of Maui. From SUP in Napili Bay to snorkeling the Honolua Bay Marine Reserve to the infamous Nakalele Blowhole. Then cap off a day of excitement with live music and a sunset view at Merriman’s Oceanfront Grill.
I feel more relaxed just writing about our trip. We will be back, we always go back to Napili.

**Situated upon 10 secluded acres of oceanfront property in northwestern Maui, the Naplili Kai Beach Resort is perfect for family vacations, relaxing retreats, and romantic getaways.
Napili Bay Guide with a Hidden Turtle Cove Surprise (our staycation!)
Let the Napili Bay, Maui staycation begin! It is the 4th of July and we are headed to Napili Bay for snorkeling, beach, BBQ, and sea turtles.
We packed up the car and drove up the road to stay at the Napili Shores. It is our first Maui staycation since we moved to #Hawaii. We kept our toddler active with lots of Napili Bay things to do.
Our favorite by far was snorkeling with sea turtles in Honokeana Bay (turtle cove). Located south of #NapiliBay, this cove is the most reliable place to snorkel with sea turtles on #Maui. We see them every time we go, even from the shore.
Since Jordan went snorkeling in the turtle cove, Erica headed to Napili Bay for snorkeling and some Napili Beach time.
We had a wonderful stay at Napili Shores Resort but we have our eye on staying at Napili Surf or Napili Kai Beach Resort next time. There will be a next time because we love Napili Bay!

Napili Bay Beach Review - Top Maui Beaches
Napili Bay has one of the best beaches on Maui, bar none. This long beach has it all! Learn more here:
Napili is located in past Lahaina Town and Kaanapali Beach just before getting to Kapalua. Many condos and resorts line the beach, including the Napili Sunset and Napili Kai Beach Resort (north end.) The Sea House Restaurant offers a great view while dining and has some delicious food.
Snorkeling is pretty clear with lots of fish and turtles along the rocky south and north side of the beach. There's also a quick little wave in the middle worth soft-topping or boogie boarding, but it really needs a lot of swell to break. It's also along a finger ridge or reef that usually protects beachgoers from large shore break. That being said, we've seen it get big and hammer those unaccustomed to the ocean.
The quality of the sand and the difficulty in finding available parking, make this a prime spot to hang out. Once parking is full, you're not gonna get a lot of other people on the beach. All in all, this is one of our top 5 Maui beaches!
