First Impressions of Tagaytay city Philippines ????????

In today's video, my friend Ian and I make a trip over to Tagaytay City just outside of the Greater Manila Area and share with you our experience as we check out some of the local places. First stop was over at the local market where we checked out some of the local items for sale and then tried out some delicious local soup. After that, we went over to a theme park and shared the experience, but unfortunately it was raining so we were limited on what all we could do. To finish the day, we explored a few more places before heading back to Manila.

???? SUBSCRIBE FOR MORE FOOD ADVENTURES:
???? WATCH Filipino Street Food in Manila, Philippines:

One of the best night markets for street food in Manila is at the Ugbo Street night market in Tondo, Manila. They have some crazy Filipino street food here to taste and enjoy. There were a few popular Filipino foods we wanted to taste and eat during our visit to Tondo, Manila that we had heard about.

We started off our crazy Filipino street food tour trying an empanada, a very popular street food in the Philippines, and the interesting fried baga. One of the best Filipino street foods to try is the tumbong soup. Tumbong soup is pork intestine soup that’s very popular, and Rado’s Lechon is the first in the area to make tumbong soup. A delicious surprise that we highly recommend!

If you get a chance to visit a Philippines night market, then go for it! There are some crazy Filipino street foods that you can always find, especially at this one in Tondo, Manila.

Our crazy Filipino street food tour in Tondo Manila continued on to try one of the self-proclaimed original halo-halos. To finish off our Philippines night market exploration, we tried grilled squid. Inihaw na Pusit, or grilled squid, is a popular food to eat in the Philippines. The Inihaw na Pusit is stuffed with tomatoes and onions, then grilled over massive flames, making for a tasty grilled squid.

We hope you enjoy this Philippines night market tour, tasting some crazy Filipino street foods in Tondo, Manila, like the tumbong soup and grilled squid. Stay tuned next week for more Filipino street food adventures!

Trying Filipino Delicacy at Marikina City Philippines ????????

Kumusta YouTube fam,

Welcome to a new episode here in the Philippines. Continuing on our adventure here in the city of Manila we have arrived in another local district, on the outskirts of Manila called Marikina City, also known as the city of shoes. The locals describe Marikina as so different to metro Manila, from transportation to food to social discipline, as if it is a whole different republic.

In this episode, one of our subscribers Rick who is a local in Marikina offered to tour me around the city of Marikina. We met up at Marikina Park and slowly proceeded to Marikina Public Market to explore signature dishes and snacks, inside the wet market. We then visit local bakeries and restaurants, trying some of Marikina's favourites such as Puto and Everlasting.

Have you been to Marikina? If you haven't, would you visit sometime? Let me know in the comments!

Filipino Food Trip In Naga City ????????

Join us for an delicious Filipino food tour here in Naga City, The Philippines ????????

We first went to eat 'Kinalas' a specialty dish of Naga City that has been labelled as one of the worst foods in the world - as you'll see in the video I really don't know why...

We tried the cheese halo halo at Mama Nangs before heading on a Puto Bukayo hunt. Then we had some cheap street drinks and a toasted Siopao.

All day we met really nice people and I have to say the food was delicious and unique.

The food in Bicol really deserves to be more well known it's so underrated.

Please 'LIKE' the video and 'SUBSCRIBE' if you enjoyed watching. It really does help my channel.

Philippines Food in Manila - Best BANANA EGG ROLLS (Turon) at Mang Tootz Food House!

►Best Filipino street food:

Mang Tootz Food House is a famous Philippines food restaurant in Manila, located in the heart of the city next to University of Santo Tomas. Because it’s next to a major university, it attracts quite a crowd of hungry students everyday, along with anyone else passing by and ready to eat a delicious Filipino food meal and some of the best banana egg rolls (turon) you’ll ever try.

Mang Tootz Food House is a carinderia, a local style eatery, and to eat you go up to the front of the restaurant and pick and choose the different dishes you want to try. I got a plate of Bicol express, inihaw na liempo, sisig, chicken kebab, ginataang langka, and finally, their banana rhuma, which is what they call their version of banana egg rolls, or banana lumpia, or turon.

Out of the Filipino dishes I ordered, the Bicol express, a Filipino stew of pork with coconut milk and chilies, and the ginataang langka, a jackfruit stew with coconut milk, were my favorite dishes of the meal. The chicken kebab wasn’t my favorite dish as it was covered in a mayonnaise tasting sauce.

Banana-rhuma (turon) - Ok finally, when you eat at Mang Tootz Food House, the one sure thing you have to order is their banana rhuma. These little banana egg rolls are amazing, and you’ll see them at the front of the restaurant being made and deep friend. Many people come by in the afternoon and order only the banana egg rolls, just as a snack to go. They take a lumpia wrapper, place a piece of banana on the inside, wrap it up, and deep fry it in a wok to a crispy golden crunch. The banana egg rolls are then stir fried with a caramel like mixture, and sprinkled with sesame seeds. I’m not a big sweets lover, but when Filipino turon are hot and fresh, they are truly amazing, and these were the best I’ve ever tried.

Total price for meal - 365 PHP ($7.34)

My FIRST LOCAL MARKET in Manila, The Philippines! (trying ube) ????????

In this video, we visited some of Makati City, Manilas best food spots for our next adventure in The Philippines!

We start our day at a Philippines street market - Salcedo Saturday Market, a large open air community market that has been serving local Filipinos for over 15 years. There is so much here to discover and eat - we try Ube for the first time, as well as Filipino BBQ skewers - so good!

We then took a long walk and ended up in the Poblacion area, checking out P. Burgos, the Main Street for Manila nightlife, where we grabbed a coffee from a cool little shop.

After that, we ended the day with a late lunch at El Chupacabra, a famous Mexican/Filipino fusion spot that served some of the best food we have had so far in Manila. We had such a great day, so come along with us to enjoy Manila, The Philippines!
