Este vídeo da série Viagens em Angola mostra as ruas e casarios da cidade de N'dalatando, uma visita ao jardim agro-botânico do Kilombo, uma pequena paragem na igreja de São José Baptista e por fim uma subida ao morro de Santa Isabel para do topo vermos a toda a cidade.
No regresso ainda tempo para uma paragem no mercado do triângulo para compra dos bons produtos agrícolas da zona.

Viagens por Angola - Luanda - Calandula - Uíge - Luanda - Setembro de 2019
Imagens da nossa viagem de dois dias (31 de Agosto e 1 de Setembro de 2019) que fizemos entre a nossa cidade de Luanda e a cidade do “bago vermelho” Uíge (ex. Marechal Carmona).
Na ida fomos pelo Este, saindo em direcção a Catete, Maria Teresa, N’dalatando, Lucala e em Cacuso viremos para Norte em direcção às Quedas de Calandula (ex. Duque de Bragança) e à Pousada onde almoçamos.
Tivemos oportunidade de visitar a Pousada de Calandula, e filmar as Quedas a partir do local, por baixo junto do lugar da queda e por cima. Visitamos também as “piscinas naturais” um pouco antes das quedas.
Depois do almoço rumamos então para Norte em direcção ao Uíge pela estrada nacional 140 que de estrada só tem o nome, pois infelizmente se encontra em muito mau estado de conservação, sendo a maior parte do trajecto feito sem alcatrão. Aqui passamos pela vila de Calandula, Quimbamba, Cabaça Muongo, Senda para aqui entrar na estrada principal com o mesmo número que vêm de Lucala e que se encontra felizmente em bom estado de conservação, passamos então por Camabatela já ao cair da noite, Negage e finalmente Uíge já de noite. Fomos directamente para o hotel iu Hotel Uíge aonde ficamos bem hospedados é um hotel de 3 estrelas recentes que nada fica a dever a qualquer outro 3 estrelas em qualquer outra parte do mundo. Limpo, bom colchão, boa roupa de cama pessoal simpático e profissional, um pequeno almoço com alguma variedade, que mais podemos desejar?
No dia seguinte deixamos o hotel pelas 8 horas e visitamos a cidade, que infelizmente se encontra um pouco suja e já sem o brilho de outros tempos que todos esperamos que regresse em breve. Seguimos depois para Luanda, desta feita utilizando a estrada mais ao litoral, a EN120 conhecida em outros tempos pela “estrada do café” que felizmente se encontra ainda em bom estado mas onde já começam aparecer alguns buracos que se as autoridades não fizerem nada irão piorar com as chuvas que se avizinham.
Pela estrada passamos por Quitexe, Aldeia Viçosa, Quinguembe, Vista Alegre, Maria Emília, Quesso, Úcua, Caxito, Panguila, Quifangondo, Cacuaco e finalmente chegamos a Luanda.

Angola (/ænˈɡoʊlə/ (audio speaker iconlisten); Portuguese: [ɐ̃ˈɡɔlɐ]), officially the Republic of Angola (Portuguese: República de Angola), is a country on the west coast of Southern Africa. It is the second-largest Lusophone (Portuguese-speaking) country in both total area and population (behind Brazil), and is the seventh-largest country in Africa. It is bordered by Namibia to the south, the DR Congo to the north, Zambia to the east, and the Atlantic Ocean to the west. Angola has an exclave province, the province of Cabinda, that borders the Republic of the Congo and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The capital and most populated city is Luanda.
Angola has been inhabited since the Paleolithic Age. Its formation as a nation-state originates from Portuguese colonisation, which initially began with coastal settlements and trading posts founded in the 16th century. In the 19th century, European settlers gradually began to establish themselves in the interior. The Portuguese colony that became Angola did not have its present borders until the early 20th century, owing to resistance by native groups such as the Cuamato, the Kwanyama and the Mbunda.
After a protracted anti-colonial struggle, Angola achieved independence in 1975 as a Marxist–Leninist one-party Republic. The country descended into a devastating civil war the same year, between the ruling People's Movement for the Liberation of Angola (MPLA), backed by the Soviet Union and Cuba, the insurgent anti-communist National Union for the Total Independence of Angola (UNITA), supported by the United States and South Africa, and the militant organisation National Liberation Front of Angola (FNLA), backed by the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The country has been governed by MPLA ever since its independence in 1975. Following the end of the war in 2002, Angola emerged as a relatively stable unitary, presidential constitutional republic.
Angola has vast mineral and petroleum reserves, and its economy is among the fastest-growing in the world, especially since the end of the civil war; however, economic growth is highly uneven, with most of the nation's wealth concentrated in a disproportionately small sector of the population and highly concentrated in China and in the United States.[7] The standard of living remains low for most Angolans; life expectancy is among the lowest in the world, while infant mortality is among the highest.[8] Since 2017, the government of João Lourenço has made fighting corruption its flagship, so much so that many individuals of the previous government are either jailed or awaiting trial. Whilst this effort has been recognised by foreign diplomats to be legitimate,[9] some skeptics see the actions as being politically motivated.
Angola is a member of the United Nations, OPEC, African Union, the Community of Portuguese Language Countries, and the Southern African Development Community. As of 2021, the Angolan population is estimated at 32.87 million. Angola is multicultural and multiethnic. Em um fim-de-semana de 3 dias fomos mais uma vez passear por o nosso belo país, desta feita o destino selecionado foi a província vizinha do Kwanza (ou Cuanza) Sul.
Neste segundo dia da nossa aventura acordamos no acampamento bem animados depois de uma noite bem dormida e ao som da natureza. Pequeno-almoço tomado foi tempo de fazermos uma pequena caminhada pela zona.
Depois partimos para a Gabela, passando pela Conda. Na Gabela almoçamos e visitamos a cidade e os seus principais pontos turísticos.
Da Gabela partimos para a vila da Boa Entrada popularmente conhecida pela CADA e visitamos o que resta desta soberba vila, em tempos considerada a mais bonita do mundo. Aproveitei também para contar um pouco da história do local.
E quando já estávamos a regressar para a Conda tivemos que ir socorrer uma viatura avariada e lá partimos nós para a zona da Quibala passando por Condé.

Calandula Falls (formerly known as Duque de Bragança Falls) are waterfalls in the municipality of Calandula, Malanje Province, Angola. On the Lucala River, the falls are 105 meters (344 feet) high and 400 meters (1,300 feet) wide. They are one of the largest waterfalls by volume in Africa. The distance from Luanda is 360 km.

Esta é a terceira parte de 6 vídeos com todo o trajecto em picada para o restaurante do lodge. Demoramos cerca de 1h para chegar. O caminho estava bastante irregular, como é possível ver em algumas partes do vídeo.
O Parque Nacional da Quiçama, ou Kissama, está situado na costa oeste de Angola, no sul de África. O parque consiste numa savana litoral com baobás, prados e mangais. O rio Cuanza situa-se a norte. O rio Longa situa-se a sul. Após a Guerra Civil Angolana, foi desenvolvido um programa de reintrodução da vida selvagem que acrescentou elefantes, girafas e zebras às tartarugas marinhas e à extensa avifauna do parque. It's third part of 6 vídeos with the 36 km off-road access to the restaurant park lodge. We take about 1h to arrive. The road was very bumpy as you can see in some parts of the video.
The Quiçama National Park, or Kissama, is located on the west coast of Angola, in southern Africa. The park consists of a coastal savanna with baobabs, meadows and mangroves. The Cuanza River is located to the north. The Longa River is located to the south. After the Angolan Civil War, a wildlife reintroduction program was developed that added elephants, giraffes and zebras to sea turtles and the park's extensive avifauna.
