FLOOD in South East QLD | Driving Around in Torrential Rain on Tamborine Mountain with Roads Flooded
The rain began on Feb. 23rd and is still going as of upload time for this video (Feb. 27-28th). Kept trying to leave Tamborine Mountain but all the main roads out were flooded so opted instead to go to IGA and the Bakery for Storm Snacks. Here's the video of that endeavor.

Ferries | NSW | Newcastle Transport | All The Way Across To Queens Wharf
It is amazing to be able to watch the complete Queens Wharf - Stockton ferry service from the same location. If you look really hard, you may be able to see light rail & bus services on the Newcastle side from Stockton.
The Newcastle - Stockton ferry service is often locally just known as the Stockton ferry. 1 ferry operates the service which takes around 5 minutes to run between the two stops. The service generally runs to a 20 minute off peak frequency but this can vary. The peak service runs to a 15 minute frequency.
The ferry service is the only ferry route service in Newcastle. It is now operated by under the brand Newcastle Transport alongside bus & light rail services in Newcastle.
You can see one stop from the other. The 5 minute/600 metre ferry ride is a lot more direct than the road route via Hexham & the Stockton bridge. A Friday/Saturday night replacement bus service takes 43 minutes with very few stops. Daytime travel times in
a car can vary because of traffic conditions,
especially on school & public holidays. This trip is 20 kilometres & at least 25
minutes by car compared to 600 metres & 5 minutes by ferry.
Generally, Shortland is the ferry used for the service with Hunter being the backup ferry moored near the Newcastle Cruising Yacht Club. Both vessels were built in 1986 with a their latest refurbishment in 2018. A single deck version of Sydney's First Fleet ferry class, each ferry can seat 127 people for the 5 minute journey.
