In my latest $10 episode (45th episode overall) I take you on the bustling streets of Moshi, Tanzania - a small, yet energetic town on the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro. I teamed up with my friend and local celebrity named Nick Reynolds (AKA Bongozozo), and together we had a blast hitting the markets and also hitting the links (this is the first time that I've been able to purchase a full 18 holes of golf for under $10!).
Truth be told, I wasn't expecting this video to be as fun as it was -- and I'm hungry for more!!! I'm having the time of my life on this trip to Tanzania and I hope you guys are enjoying the content.

I'M SO HAPPY that I made it back to the incredible East African nation of TANZANIA! My previous (and only) visit here was back in Jan 2018, where I only visited the island of Zanzibar. But I really missed out because the people, culture, food and nature on the mainland is just about as good as you can find anywhere on this planet.
My friends at Qatar Airways reached out and offered to fly me and Deanna on business class to Tanzania, and we couldn't say no! I've never had a better flying experience in my life... and Tanzania was just amazing! We began our trip in Arusha, then went to Ngorongoro Conservation area before heading deep into the Serengeti for 3 nights and finally ending in a town called Moshi. Tanzania is a phenomenal country inside and out, and I can't wait to show you more of this country over the coming 2 weeks!

Arusha is a city in East Africa's Tanzania, located at the base of volcanic Mt. Meru. It's a gateway to safari destinations and to Africa's highest peak, 5,895m Mt. Kilimanjaro, lying some 100 kilometers northeast. To the west lies Serengeti National Park, home to wildlife including lions, rhinoceros, giraffes and leopards. Annual migrations feature huge herds of wildebeests crossing its plains.
- Is Arusha safe for tourists?
Tanzania is mostly safe to visit, though caution is recommended especially in tourist areas such as Arusha, Stone Town (Zanzibar), and Dar es Salaam.

Mount Kilimanjaro is the tallest mountain on the African continent and the highest free-standing mountain in the world. ... Kilimanjaro has three volcanic cones, Mawenzi, Shira and Kibo. Mawenzi and Shira are extinct but Kibo, the highest peak, is dormant and could erupt again.
- How long does it take to walk up Kilimanjaro?
It takes at least five days to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. However, a minimum of six days, and ideally seven or eight, offers a far better chance of reaching the top. For those with longer to spare, there are several more gradual and scenic ascent routes that can be done over 10 or more days.
- How much does it cost to climb Mount Kilimanjaro?
To climb Kilimanjaro can cost you anything from $1000 to $4000 and above. (There are some operators advertising cheap Kilimanjaro climbs that cost below $1200. Don't go there. Actually, don't go below $1700.
- Is Kilimanjaro taller than Everest?
Everest (29,035 feet / 8,850 m) in Asia. Aconcagua (22,829 feet / 6,962 m) in South America. Denali (20,320 feet / 6,190 m) in North America. Kilimanjaro (19,340 feet / 5,895 m) in Africa.
