The current Government House, known as the Gothic Revival Government House, was completed in 1845. It replaced an earlier Government House that was built in the early 19th century.

While many people will think Sri Lankan food is like Indian food, there are more cultural influences than just India like Malaysian, North Africa and Dutch. Today we are showcasing another Sydney Street Food tour in the suburb of Glebe.
A meal in Sri Lanka is normally rice and curry, however the main differences is that Sri Lankan curries are spicier and are of coconut milk based compared to Indian curries.
Today we tried egg hoppers and string hoppers, a famous street food dish in Sri Lanka and its usually eaten with coconut sambol, caramelised onion relish, chilli relish or curries. If you would like to test your spicy tolerance level, then try the devilled chicken. Another one is: Lamprais, which is a Dutch influence in Sri Lankan cuisine - a banana leaf wrapped rice with meat curries and belacan sambal. For desserts, we tried Saruwath, a colourful refreshing drink with mixed fruits and poppy seeds and Watalappam, steamed egg coconut custard with some spices like cardamom, ginger and nutmeg.

Best playground with cafe and beach in Sydney | The Bers squad
Parsley Bay Reserve is a famous family park with swimming area, picnic and a children’s playground. Toilet is also accessible with shower area to those who would like to swim. Parking area is free but limited.
Good to visit during weekdays, less crowd. Weekends are packed.
Cafe is in place to have a quick coffee fix ☕️????????

The food in Sri Lanka is so rich and flavourful. We started off exploring the best street food in Sri Lanka by going to a local shop to try egg hoppers. Egg hoppers are a popular street food here in Sri Lanka and a great way to start the day. As one of the most popular foods in Sri Lanka, egg hoppers are ordered in a few different ways.
We continued exploring the best foods to eat in Colombo and tasted the delicious and yummy king coconut. We tasted lamprais and falooda on our Sri Lankan food tour. There’s no shortage of incredible Sri Lankan street food in Colombo.
We finished off our Sri Lankan street food tour of Colombo in the Aluthkade neighbourhood of Sri Lanka. Here, we went to a local shop to see how they make their string hoppers and other local dishes. String hoppers are another popular Sri Lankan food that you must try. Seeing string hoppers get made by hand was such a treat, and they tasted amazing as well, very different than the egg hoppers we tried earlier in the day. Last on our Colombo food tour was Sri Lanka's national dish, curry and rice. We tried the popular Colombo Sri Lankan kukul mas curry along with fried goat brains!

Carnival Splendor - Boarding May 15th, 2023 - SHIP Tour + Sailing From Sydney Harbour
We boarded the Carnival Splendor Cruise Ship at Circular Quay Sydney May 15th, 2023 to cruise to the South Pacific.
After a quick look around we went straight to Muster Stations, then our cabin to settle in.
After that, we continued exploring the ship. It was our first time on board the Carnival Splendor. We always enjoy the initial getting to know our way around the ship. I have included footage of loads of the main Lounges and bars but not all. Many of them don't open until later after the ship starts moving.
We ordered a few Pina Coladas and sat watching the ship leave Sydney Harbour.

Today started with a visit to Multiplex company,
Next we visited Sydney Museum for contemporary art, Suzanne the director of the museum has a lot of connections with Lebanese artists. It consists of 4 levels, 3 levels of exhibition spaces, 2 levels of temporary exhibition and a level dedicated to the MCA’s collection.
We had lunch at Graze, the restaurant that is part of the museum, very good food with great view, the plates are amazing, the presentation is great, and the food is perfectly done.
A new discovery in Sydney, Open Sesame restaurant, I had the typical Syrian shawarma, super juicy, tender meat and halal.
