Cypress Gardens is a 170-acre (69 ha) preserve and gardens located at 3030 Cypress Gardens Road, Moncks Corner, South Carolina, United States. The centerpiece of the garden is the 80 acres (32 ha) blackwater bald cypress/tupelo swamp, surrounded with both boat and foot trails.

Are you thinking about moving to Charleston? I work with a ton of families moving into town. One thing that is similar to all these clients is they don’t know which part of Charleston to move to. I start each conversation with four simple questions, what are your wants, needs, deal-breakers, AND most importantly, how do you imagine your life when moving to Charleston? Where are you working? What are you doing for fun? What are you doing on the weekend and after work?
We have downtown Charleston, North Charleston, James Island, Mount Pleasant, West Ashley, Summerville, Moncks corner, goose creek, Hanahan, Daniel Island, Isle Of Palms, Sullivan’s Island, just to name a few, all in a 20-mile circumference.
I’m sure you see how picking which area is best for you and your family can be a bit confusing. 90% of my buyers end up choosing Mount Pleasant as their perfect spot. With the top 1% of schools in the state, tons of top restaurants and shopping, downtown and beaches are only a few miles away- Mount Pleasant is the perfect spot for many.
When making this video, I had families relocating to Charleston, specifically Mount Pleasant, in mind. So there we have it, the top 3 neighborhoods to consider when moving to Mount Pleasant. I based these neighborhoods on the desirability, average sales price, location, amenities, drivability, and the overall atmosphere of the community.

Cypress Gardens is about 40 minutes away from downtown Charleston, Sc. Its really nice to walk around and take in all the sites. From November to February you can bring your dog with you. There are also boat rentals for 5 dollars. They have a butterfly garden, a Swamparium and a great walk around the cypress swamp and ponds.

Cypress Garden is a 175 acre Swamp Garden located in the South Carolina low-country. It is such a unique experience that features all kinds of plants and wildlife. I was even able to capture a small alligator in this video!
