The BEST Thing While Traveling, Kurdistan Turkey // Overland Series Ep. 10
One reason why we travel is to meet people on the road, in Kurdistan, Turkey we were lucky to meet locals and other travelers to listen to their stories.
We are driving from Mt Nemrut through the southeast of Turkey, greenfields, and dry grasslands chase each other as we make our way through Turkish Kurdistan. The high plateau is home to the biggest minority in the country, the Kurds. the Kurds are traditional nomads and live from their herds of sheep, goats, and cows. Most of the kids grow up learning the Kurdish language from their parents, cause the Kurdish language and traditions are banned and get not taught in school. We experienced the Kurdish community as one of the warmest and most welcoming people that we met.
On our way east we went through Diyarbakir, Bingöl, Erzurum, and Kars before we crossed the Turkish Georgian border north of Cildir Gölü. In Diyarbakir, we got invited by Mehmet and his friends and coworkers, for coffee and Baklava. Thank you so much for having us it was a pleasure to meet you guys. Mehmet is a professor at the University of Diyarbakir and a farmer, he and his team are growing wheat, corn, rice, lentils, and cotton. In the afternoon we drove to the region of Bingöl where we stayed in a colony of frogs for two days to edit a video.
On the way towards the border with Georgia, we bumped into Chris and his three daughters Jemanja, Sohalia and Yumi, traveling by bike through Europe and Central Asia towards southeast Asia. We cooked and spend the evening together, sharing stories around the fire.
The next day, we drove to Cildir Gölü where we spend two nights on the small island to finish the video and relax.

Fujinomiya Exit of Mt. Fuji is the highest at 2,400m above sea level at the fifth station. It is the shortest route to the summit among the climbing courses on Mt. It is the shortest distance to the 3,776-meter-high Kenganbō (Sword Peak) at the summit of Mt.
Fuji's southern slope (Shizuoka Prefecture side) and is the second most popular route after the Yoshida Route. Approximately 2.50% of climbers use this route.

We rented a car in Erbil and drove all the way to Dohuk, passing by the incredible villages of Lalish and Alqosh. Two villages known for their rich Yazidi and Assyrian Christian cultures. Both groups were persecuted for a long time especially during the IS regime in central Iraq resulting in a big diaspora all over the world.
We talked to locals to learn more about their cultures and find out how their history shaped them.

Bu videoda sizlere Küba'ya yolculuğumu, Küba vizesini nasıl alabileceğinizi, Küba'ya girişte başıma gelenleri ve istenen belgeleri, Küba'daki ilk dakikalarımı ve kaldığım hosteli göstereceğim. Küba'ya indiğimde 5 farklı polis tarafından sorgulandım. Sebebi ise pasaportumda Amerika vizesi olması. Bir süre polis sorgusunda kaldıktan sonra ülkeye giriş yaptım. Daha sonrasında şehir merkezine gittim ve şehirde kısa bir tur attım. Videoda Küba vizesi nasıl alınır sorusuna özellikle uzunca yer verdim. Çok kolay alabileceğiniz bir vize. Yağmura yakalanıca istediğim gibi gezemedim. Havalanında 1 gece uyuduktan sonra Kolombiya'ya yolculuk yaptım. Kolombiya Bogota Havaalanında 1 gece uyuduktan sonra Peru'ya geldim. İlginç ve yorucu bir yolculuk oldu. Acısıyla tatlısıyla Küba seyahatini tamamlamış olduk.

Bu videoda akıllarda soru işareti bırakan Küba'da para kullanılıyor mu, Küba'nın yönetim biçimi nasıl, Küba Sosyalist mi, Küba pahalı mı, Küba vizesi nasıl alınır gibi sorulara yanıt vermeye çalıştım. Havana sokaklarında bol bol yürüdüm ve insanlarla sohbet etmeye çalıştım. Kübalılar çok sıcakkanlı insanlar. Bir şeye özellikle dikkatinizi çekmek istedim; Havana'daki sokak satıcıları. Sizlere çeşitli bahanelerle yaklaşacak ve bir şeyler satmak isteyecekler. Çok sıcakkanlı insanlar ama söyledikleri şeyler ne yazık ki doğru değil. Küba'daki fiyatlardan da az çok bahsetmeye çalıştım.

Herkese selamlar. Bu videoda, Güney Amerika'daki üçüncü ülkem olan Peru'nun başkenti Lima'yı geziyorum. Couchsurfing'den tanıştığım Perulu arkadaşım Valery ile İspanyolca çalıştık ve ona Türk kahvesi denettim. Sonrasında kendimi Lima sokaklarına attım. Lima'nın sevilen yerlerini tek tek gezip sizlere göstermek istedim. Lima tehlikeli mi, Peru'da yaşam nasıl gibi sorulara da az çok cevap verdiğimi düşünüyorum. Bunun yanında denk geldiğim Peru lezzetlerini de (Peru sokak yemekleri) denemeye çalıştım. Türk kahvesi, İspanyolca dersi ve Lima sokakları üçgenindeki videomu umarım keyifle izlersiniz.
