Visiting Sicily in August? In this video we discover Sicily together and I show you why it is worth to visit Modica. Is this the best small town in Italy? well, if you are a fan of chocolate, it is. The entire town is a dream for architecture enthusiasts because everywhere you look you see the typical characteristics of Sicilian baroque. I packed this Italy travel vlog with many tips on sights to see, what to eat and what to do in a one day in Modica.
The city is also famous for its unique chocolate made following ancient Aztec methods. We visit the most traditional chocolateria in the town, eat some deep fried seafood, climb stairs, visit the castle, churches and we have a panoramic view from the top.
If you want to know how to spend a day in Modica, this is the right place for you!

Modica is a Sicilian city known for its Baroque buildings, Chocolate Museum, and poet Salvatore Quasimodo. Modica, much like the other towns in the Val di Noto UNESCO World Heritage Site, was badly damaged in the 1693 earthquake and largely rebuilt in Sicilian Baroque style!
