Aix en Provence - Best Town in Provence
I live in Aix-en-Provence and it has been called the city of a thousand fountains and the city of water and art…and no wonder, it’s gorgeous. Aix-en-Provence, or ‘Aix’ (pronounced like the letter ‘X’) as the locals call it, is an elegant Provençal city about 25km from Marseille. It’s got it all: tree-lined boulevards, parks, squares, bubbling fountains, magnificent Baroque architecture, swanky shops, restaurants and cafés, art galleries and museums – all surrounded by stunning countryside, famously painted by Cezanne. Aix-en-Provence is a city full of history and wealthy and powerful people. It was founded 123 BC by the Roman consul Sextius Calvinus, who gave his name to its springs.Aix was given the nickname of “La ville aux mille fontaines” (“The city of a thousand fountains“) and for good reason too. Apart from water, Aix is also noted as being a university town and an artists’ town. It’s here that Paul Cézanne established his studio.

Situé dans le massif des Alpilles, les Baux de Provence est l'un des plus beaux villages de France. Ce village est situé dans les Bouches du Rhône en Provence et perché sur un éperon rocheux. La bauxite, minerai d'aluminium, tient son nom de cette commune.

Hi guys,
I was visiting Provence, France for 4 days. Weather in May for me was great???? like 20°C. Vacationing in the local area, visiting historic sights & cities, there is so much to love about Provence, but with a need to drive to visit some of the top sights. I loved to talk to local people and trying good wines and food. Also was trying to capture some interesting things and places so I hope you guys will enjoy it as much as I did.

Cabride de Béziers à Avignon via Nîmes et la rive Droite du Rhône en BB27000
Nous voici de retour avec un nouveau cabride dans le sud de la France à bord d'une BB27000 Fret SNCF entre Béziers et Avignon, plus précisément la gare de Villeneuve-lès-Avignon située sur la rive droite du Rhône.
Les 165 km de ce trajet seront parcourus en un peu plus de 2h, à la vitesse maximale de 100km/h. Le train est une autoroute ferroviaire reliant Le Boulou près de la frontière Espagnole, à Bettembourg (Luxembourg).
Nous prendrons l'itinéraire classique au lieu du CNM (Contournement Nîmes-Montpellier) afin de rejoindre Nîmes puis nous circulerons via la Rive Droite du Rhône jusqu'à Villeneuve-lès-Avignon via Remoulins

Here we are back in the south of France aboard a BB27000 between Béziers and Avignon, more precisely Villeneuve-lès-Avignon station located on the right bank of the Rhône.
The 165 km of this journey will be covered in just over 2 hours, at the maximum speed of 100 km/h. The train is a rail motorway linking Le Boulou near the Spanish border, to Bettembourg (Luxembourg).
We will take the classic route instead of the CNM (Nîmes-Montpellier bypass) to reach Nîmes then we will travel via the Right Bank of the Rhône to Villeneuve-lès-Avignon via Remoulins

Bonjour à tous les amis ! C’est Bloc Polo ! J’espère que vous allez bien aujourd’hui pour ma part ça va bien !
Ça y est les vacances d’été sont officiellement terminées depuis plus d’une semaine, j’espère que vous en avez bien profité !
Bon sinon l’été n’est pas encore terminé et pour prolonger la saison estivale je vous propose une nouvelle vidéo de train réel sur le mythique train Corail intercité (Grand Sud) SNCF reliant Bordeaux-Saint-Jean à Marseille Saint Charles ! (Nice-Ville jusqu’en décembre 2017).
Eh oui durant le mois de juin dernier, j’étais dans le sud de la France entre Nîmes et Montpellier en région Occitanie (Anciennement Languedoc-Roussillon).
À cette occasion, j’ai pu filmer les trains Intercités Grand Sud assurés quotidiennement par des rames tractées Corail VU/VTU livrées Carmillion avec BB 7200 & BB 26000.
Il faut en profiter parce qu’à partir de 2024, ils commerceront à être remplacés par des automotrices plus modernes.
Voici en détail ci-dessous, les 4 rames présentes en vidéo.
1️⃣ BB 7200 SNCF (n’apparaissant pas en vidéo) ➕10 voitures Corail Carmillion, au départ de Montpellier-St-Roch (30) pour Marseille.
2️⃣BB 7200 Grise SNCF ➕ 9 voitures corail Carmillion, de passage dans la commune de Milhaud (30) pour Marseille . (Vue dans une précédente vidéo).
3️⃣BB 26139 Carmillion SNCF ➕ 9 voitures corail Carmillion, marquant l’arrêt en gare de Montpellier-St-Roch (30) à destination de Bordeaux-St-Jean.
4️⃣BB 107260 Béton SNCF ➕9 voitures corail carmillion, de passage dans la commune de Milhaud (30) pour Bordeaux.

Aix en Provence Part Two
This is one of several I'm posting, with slightly better finesse of the sound track, and with voice-overs. Verbal cues from Michele and from me, about what is happening in the videos.
Now a needless comment, which I shall make anyway, about the not-specially-selected folks populating these scenes: do please note the relative absence of flab. Whether it's due to citizens who show discipline in food/drink intake, or the presence of perhaps healthier (?) foods, or possibly an acute awareness of what slovenly eating habits do to one's health and to one's chances of hooking up with a really hot member of the opposite sex.... Whatever the reasons, the people of Aix have things entirely in control, in that respect at the very least. Kudos.

Visito Aix-en-Provence | La città di Paul Cezanne ???????? Viaggiare in Provenza
Aix-en-Provence, celebre città universitaria in Provenza, è conosciuta per aver dato i natali a Paul Cezanne, famoso pittore post-impressionista. La città è poco distante da Marsiglia, infatti, grazie ai trasporti pubblici è ben collegata. Si raggiunge in 30 minuti in bus e il prezzo del biglietto è di 10 € A/R. Aix-en-Provence è collegata a Marsiglia anche tramite TGV.
Aix-en-Provence, oltre al bellissimo centro storico, caratterizzato dalla presenza di numerose fontane e piazze, ospita edifici moderni, realizzati recentemente. Il Conservatorio Darius-Milhaud è uno di questi.
Nel centro di Aix ci sono tanti ristoranti e boutique, che tuttavia in questo periodo sono ancora chiusi, in attesa delle riaperture a partire dal 19 maggio.
Tra le attrazioni più interessanti c'è sicuramente il Corso Mirabeau, la Cattedrale di Aix e il Museo Granet.
