A Tour of OAXACA City / Mitla & Tule / Mexico Travel 2023
Oaxaca City is located in southern Mexico and is the capital of the eponymous Mexican state of Oaxaca. The state is best known for its indigenous peoples and cultures- Zapotec and Mixtec, as well as for the traditional Oaxacan food. The city is often called the food capital of Mexico.
Oaxaca, together with the nearby archeological site of Monte Albán, was designated in 1987 as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Oaxaca city is a very lively and pretty place where you can wander around the colorful streets and spend time in the city's main square - Zocalo, have a delicious Mexican dish and enjoy the vibrant ambiance.
Oaxaca is also home of mezcal and where more than 90% of all Mexico mezcal is produced. Mezcal is the national spirit of Mexico.
Mezcal is a distilled alcoholic beverage. It is made from agave (specifically Agave americana)
Tequila is a form of mezcal, though they are distilled differently — mezcal is cooked in an underground oven, and tequila is boiled.
You can join one of the many mezcal tours, learn about the process of making and taste different sorts of mezcal drinks.
The video also features the archaeological site and ruins of Mitla, which is located about 44km from Oaxaca and is associated with the Zapotec and Mixtec cultures.
The video ends with a visit of Tule, located also in the state of Oaxaca. The city is popular with its Tree of Tule - one of the world's oldest trees, considered to be more than 2000 years old.

First week in Puerto Escondido : a magical surf town in Oaxaca, Mexico | Episode 010
▹ In today's video, we hop on a bus towards the surf town of Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca! This little beach town is located on the Pacific coast of Mexico.
We start the day by exploring Playa Carrizalillo, one of our favorite beaches in Puerto Escondido! Then, we head to La Punta, which is an up-and-coming neighborhood with cute boutiques, cafés, and organic markets. We ate dinner at a restaurant called Mundaka and then we share with you our first impressions of this beautiful surf town!

Es posible, el día de hoy visitamos Naolinco de victoria en el estado de Veracruz el pueblo mágico poco conocido donde venden los zapatos más baratos de todo México.
El pueblo mágico de naolinco se dedica a la venta de calzado de piel, ya que los zapatos elaborados aquí es la insignia del lugar, a la vez del mirador de la cascada.
también se encuentra la festividad y las danzas de moros y cristianos que inicia el 19 de septiembre.
NAOLINCO, CONSIDERADA VESTIGIO IMPORTANTE DE LA CULTURA TOTONACA, PROVIENE DE LOS VOCABLOS NAHUI QUE EN VOZ NÁHUATL SIGNIFICA CUATRO, HOLLÍN QUE SIGNIFICA MOVIMIENTO DEL SOL Y CO QUE SIGNIFICA LUGAR, FORMANDO ESTO LA CIUDAD DE LOS 4 MOVIMIENTOS DEL SOL.
Su origen se remonta hasta antes de nuestra era, fue una población totonaca. El totonaco naolinqueño fue adorador del sol y la luna, poseían observatorios, lo que les valió el nombre de pueblo de cronólogos.
Se encuentra ubicado en la zona centro montañoso del estado, en las estribaciones de la Sierra de Chiconquiaco, en las coordenadas 19 ° 39' latitud norte y 96° 52' longitud oeste, a una altura de 1,540 metros sobre el nivel del mar. Limita al norte con Miahuatlán, al noreste con Acatlán, al este con Tepetlán, al sureste con Alto Lucero, al sur con Actopan, Xalapa y Jilotepec, al oeste con Coacoatzintla, al noroeste con Tonayán. Su distancia aproximada al norte de la cabecera municipal, por carretera es de 30 Km.

Puerto Escondido is an amazing paradise located at the south coast of Oaxaca. Even in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, this awesome place is very much alive. Wearing a face mask is mandatory at this time (2020) at most public places in Puerto Escondido and the rest of Oaxaca, but that's about it as far as the measurements go.
The city has many different beaches that all have their unique vibe and charm. It is very easy to move between the beaches for a few pesos if you take advantage of the collectivos, which are in abundance.
