At Crolles, the biggest techno park of semiconductor fabrication in France, a lot of employees of companies like ST Micro Electronics, Soitec, Ecrin, New Vision, Britivic, TT, Editec, Quartz travel daily to Crolles by bike if the weather is good and maybe travel back by bus if need be. The companies are happy to compensate from anything between 400-800€ for the bike and the gear, once you sign an agreement to use the bike to come to office for at least 50% of the time, a win-win for both.

Road Trip Nouvelle Aquitaine - From Bordeaux to Biarritz via the French Pyrenees
A road trip is the best way to discover the diversity of the French region Nouvelle Aquitaine! In this video I will take you to Bordeaux, to the French Pyrenees and to Biarritz at the Atlantic Ocean.
I will show you cool and sustainable activities in these three destinations. I have personally made this trip in only a few days, but if you have more time on your hand, definitely stay longer. There is much more to discover!
Here's what you will see:
Let me show you Bordeaux in a tour with an electric Tuk Tuk, a photo walk through the brutalist quarter Meriadeck and a bicycle tour to all of Bordeaux's street art as well as the artist quarter of Darwin.
Not far from Bordeaux, we will explore the wine castle Chateau du Taillan, where we will even be shown their secrets in the basement.
From there, we will drive to Fabrèges where we will take the ski lift up the mountain for some spectacular views. But not enough, the little train called Petit Train will take us even higher up, almost all the way to the Lac d'Artouste.
Let me show you the cozy village of Arudy before we go on a nerve-wrecking ziplining adventure in Laruns!
Last but definitely not least, we will explore the hip beach town of Biarritz. Follow me while I discover the best photo spots, enjoy some oysters in the old harbour and enjoy the sunset in this beautiful town.

Grenoble, a city in the Rhône-Alpes region of southeastern France, lies at the foot of the mountains between the Drac and the Isère. Surrounded by mountains, it is the ideal place for winter sports. It also has museums, universities and research centers. The spherical cable cars called the bubbles connect the city to the top of the hill of La Bastille, which owes its name to the 18th century fortress erected on its slopes.his town is a Spa ressort located on the scores of Lake Bourget, in Savoie. Swimming, shilling and golf are often practiced there. The city has several emblematic monuments such as the Roman remains of the temple of Diana, adjoining the town hall, and the Château de la Roche du Roi, in the Belle Epoque style.
????????The population of the commune of Grenoble was 158,180 at the 2016 census, while the population of the Grenoble metropolitan area (French: aire urbaine de Grenoble or agglomération grenobloise) was 687,985 which makes it the largest metropolis in the Alps, ahead of Innsbruck and Bolzano. A significant European scientific centre,[5][6] the city advertises itself as the Capital of the Alps, due to its size and its proximity to the mountains. The many suburb communes that make up the rest of the metropolitan area include four with populations exceeding 20,000: Saint-Martin-d'Hères, Échirolles, Fontaine and Voiron.[7][8]
Grenoble's history goes back over 2,000 years, to a time when it was a village of the Allobroges Gallic tribe. It became the capital of the Dauphiné in the 11th century.[9] This status, consolidated by the annexation to France, allowed it to develop its economy. Grenoble then became a parliamentary and military city, close to the border with Savoy. Industrial development increased the prominence of Grenoble through several periods of economic expansion over the last three centuries. This started with a booming glove industry in the 18th and 19th centuries, continued with the development of a strong hydropower industry in the late 19th to early 20th centuries and ended with a post-World War II economic boom symbolized by the holding of the X Olympic Winter Games in 1968.
The city has grown to be one of Europe's most important research, technology and innovation centres, with one in five inhabitants working directly in these fields.[5][6][10] Grenoble is classified as a global city with the ranking of sufficiency by the Globalization and World Cities Research Network. The city holds the title of European Green Capital in 2022.[11]
