This ancient city is well connected to other cities in the state as well as some cities in neighboring states. Hatinapur is 47 km away from the industrial city of Ghaziabad and almost 100 km from Delhi. You can drive your car up there or you have the option of taking a bus. If you are inside Uttar Pradesh, you can take buses run by UPSRTC which are always on schedule or you can take a luxury overnight bus if you are coming by road from nearby cities of different states. The nearest railhead is located at Meerut Cantt in Meerut. This railway station is distanced at 41.6 km from the center of Hastinapur city and it takes about an hour to reach the city from here. This is the most convenient way to reach Hastinapur because of the proximity to the station. There are many express trains and regular trains that carry tourists from different cities like Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi and many more to Meerut Cantt and vice versa. Once you reach the railway station, you can take a cab, auto rickshaw or a bus to reach your accommodation.
There are many ways to get around in Hastinapur; you can hire a cab from a taxi stand or an auto rickshaw to move around the city. There are cycle rickshaws as well that you can use to get around this city. There are buses run by UPSRTC that you can take; the tickets are cheap and the buses are on time.
