Madison, Wisconsin is the second largest city in the state and serves as its capital. Park Forest is a village located south of Chicago in Cook County, Illinois, with a small southern portion in Will County, Illinois, United States. The village was originally designed as a planned community for veterans returning from World War II. As of the 2010 census, the village had a population of 21,975.
Park Forest has multiple public and private schools. In addition to the arts and culture scene including Tall Grass Arts Association and the Illinois Theatre Center,residents also have access to a myriad of recreational opportunities for both children and adults such as the Park Forest Aqua Center.Notable people from Park Forest include the former artistic director of the Illinois Theatre Center, Etel Billig.Park Forest is bordered by Olympia Fields to the north, Chicago Heights to the east, University Park to the south, and Richton Park and Matteson to the west.
Matteson is a village in Cook County, Illinois, United States. The population was 19,009 at the 2010 census, up from 12,928 in 2000. Matteson is a middle class predominantly African American community and a south suburb of Chicago. Matteson was home to Lincoln Mall, which was located at Cicero Avenue and US Highway 30. Once one of the Chicago Southland's major regional shopping centers, Lincoln Mall experienced a protracted decline beginning in the 1990s and closed on January 7, 2015.Demolition of the mall site commenced in May 2017. Several big-box retailers, including Target and JCPenney, are located in close proximity to the former mall, as are hotels and low/midrise office buildings.
The 110-acre (0.45 km2) Matteson Auto Mall, just west of Interstate 57 along US Highway 30, is the largest agglomeration of automobile dealerships in Illinois. The Matteson Auto Mall was originally developed by David Miller in 2001.Valspar operates a paint manufacturing facility in Matteson.
Matteson is also the home of Park Place Realty Group LLC, which was recently featured in Black Enterprise Magazine, owned and operated by Calvin & Ro'Shunda Russell.

This video was requested by one of our subscriber he asked me to drive in Monee IL.
Monee is a village in Will County, Illinois, United States. The population was 5,148 at the 2010 census. Plans for a new Metra station on 2nd Avenue are undergoing studies. In 2016, the River Valley Metro Mass Transit District will begin making stops here as well as in nearby Peotone. A proposed Pace bus route will run from the University Park Metra station to the new station. The town's name is a corruption of Mary, there being no R sound in Pottawatamie. Mary was the name of a trader's wife.
University Park is a village south of Chicago mostly in Will County with a small portion in Cook County in the U.S. state of Illinois. It is the only predominantly African-American community in Will County. The village, one of the region's few planned communities, was developed in the 1960s as Wood Hill, then Park Forest South, and finally University Park. Governors State University was established in the village in 1969. The village population was 7,129 at the 2010 census.
Park Forest is a village located south of Chicago in Cook County, Illinois, with the small southern portion in Will county, Illinois, United States. The village was originally designed as a planned community for veterans returning from World War II. As of the 2010 census, the village had a population of 21,975. Park Forest has multiple public and private schools. In addition to the arts and culture scene including Tall Grass Arts Association and the Illinois Theatre Center, residents also have access to a myriad of recreational opportunities for both children and adults such as the Park Forest Aqua Center. Notable people from Park Forest include the former artistic director of the Illinois Theatre Center, Etel Billig. Park Forest is bordered by Olympia Fields to the north, Chicago Heights to the east, University Park to the south, and Richton Park and Matteson to the west.
Matteson is a village in Cook County, Illinois, United States. The population was 19,009 at the 2010 census. Matteson is a middle-class predominantly African-American suburb of Chicago.
