I was in Çanakkale back in September. On my final full day, I went to see the famous Trojan Horse that was used in the movie Troy.
Also, I had a chance to check out the impressive Naval Museum which exceeded my expectations. I ended the day with a ferry ride back to Gallipoli.
Çanakkale is a fascinating place to travel to as it's immersed in history. In addition to this, I feel it's a wonderful place to visit as a tourist due to how immaculate it is and how the weather and surrounding sea makes it an ideal place to visit.

William Lane Craig is Research Professor of Philosophy at Talbot School of Theology and Professor of Philosophy at Houston Baptist University. He and his wife Jan have two grown children. At the age of sixteen as a junior in high school, he first heard the message of the Christian gospel and yielded his life to Christ. Dr. Craig pursued his undergraduate studies at Wheaton College (B.A. 1971) and graduate studies at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (M.A. 1974; M.A. 1975), the University of Birmingham (England) (Ph.D. 1977), and the University of Munich (Germany) (D.Theol. 1984). From 1980-86 he taught Philosophy of Religion at Trinity, during which time he and Jan started their family. In 1987 they moved to Brussels, Belgium, where Dr. Craig pursued research at the University of Louvain until assuming his position at Talbot in 1994. He has authored or edited over thirty books, including The Kalam Cosmological Argument; Assessing the New Testament Evidence for the Historicity of the Resurrection of Jesus; Divine Foreknowledge and Human Freedom; Theism, Atheism and Big Bang Cosmology; and God, Time and Eternity, as well as over a hundred articles in professional journals of philosophy and theology, including The Journal of Philosophy, New Testament Studies, Journal for the Study of the New Testament, American Philosophical Quarterly, Philosophical Studies, Philosophy, and British Journal for Philosophy of Science. In 2016 Dr. Craig was named by The Best Schools as one of the fifty most influential living philosophers.
Bishop Robert Barron is an acclaimed author, speaker, and theologian. He is also the founder of the global media ministry Word on Fire, which reaches millions of people by utilizing the tools of new media to draw people into or back to the Catholic Faith. Francis Cardinal George has described him as “one of the Church's best messengers. Bishop Barron received a Master's Degree in Philosophy from the Catholic University of America in 1982 and a doctorate in Sacred Theology from the Institut Catholique de Paris in 1992. He was ordained a priest in 1986 in the Archdiocese of Chicago, and then appointed to the theological faculty of Mundelein Seminary in 1992. He has also served as a visiting professor at the University of Notre Dame and at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas. He was twice scholar in residence at the Pontifical North American College at the Vatican. He served as the Rector/President of Mundelein Seminary University of St. Mary of the Lake from 2012 until 2015. On July 21, 2015, Pope Francis appointed Bishop Barron to be Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. He was ordained bishop on September 8, 2015.

hello hello my friends. this is a map of beautiful turkey. Turkey is a transcontinental country bridging Southeastern Europe and Western Asia. Asian Turkey, which includes 97 percent of the country's territory, is separated from European Turkey by the Bosphorus, the Sea of Marmara, and the Dardanelles. European Turkey comprises only 3 percent of the country's territory. The country is encircled by seas on three sides: the Aegean Sea to the west, the Black Sea to the north and the Mediterranean Sea to the south. Turkey also contains the Sea of Marmara in the northwest.
Turkey is divided into seven geographical regions: Marmara, Aegean, Black Sea, Central Anatolia, Eastern Anatolia, Southeastern Anatolia and the Mediterranean. The uneven north Anatolian terrain running along the Black Sea resembles a long, narrow belt. This region comprises approximately one-sixth of Turkey's total land area. As a general trend, the inland Anatolian plateau becomes increasingly rugged as it progresses eastward. Pamukkale terraces are made of travertine, a sedimentary rock deposited by mineral water from the hot springs. The area is famous for a carbonate mineral left by the flowing of thermal spring water. It is located in Turkey's Inner Aegean region, in the River Menderes valley, which has a temperate climate for most of the year. The Seljuk Turks began migrating in the 11th century, and the Sultanate of Rum ruled Anatolia until the Mongol invasion in 1243, when it disintegrated into small Turkish principalities. Beginning in the late 13th century, the Ottomans united the principalities and conquered the Balkans, and the Turkification of Anatolia increased during the Ottoman period. After Mehmed II conquered Constantinople (Istanbul) in 1453, Ottoman expansion continued under Selim I. During the reign of Suleiman the Magnificent, the Ottoman Empire became a global power. From the late 18th century onwards, the empire's power declined with a gradual loss of territories. Mahmud II started a period of modernisation in the early 19th century The Young Turk Revolution of 1908 restricted the authority of the Sultan and restored the Ottoman Parliament after a 30-year suspension, ushering the empire into a multi-party period. The 1913 coup d'état put the country under the control of the Three Pashas, who facilitated the Empire's entry into World War I as part of the Central Powers in 1914. During the war, the Ottoman government committed genocides against its Armenian, Greek and Assyrian subjects. 5 YIL SONRA TÜRKİYE'YE DÖNDÜM!! (Kıbrıs'a Feribot Yolculuğu) ???????? ~505
5 Yıl Sonra Türkiye'ye Döndüm!! Türkiye'de biraz vakit geçirip dinlendikten sonra annemi alıp 20 günlük bir Türkiye turu yaptım. Ardından 1.5 aylığına tuttuğum evde zamanımı spor yaparak ve kitap okuyarak geçirdim. Bu süre zarfında 10 yıllık Amerika Turist Vizesi (B1/B2) aldım. Her şey bitince de evden çıkıp Ege ve Akdeniz üzerinden geze geze Mersin Taşucu Limanı'na geldim. Bu 3 aylık süre boyunca da bol bol yemek yedim ve 15kg alarak 90kg'a ulaştım.
Taşucu - Girne bileti 1000TL (50 dolar) civarında. 2-3 saat arası sürüyor. Zorlu ve dalgalı bir güzergah olmasına rağmen şansımıza deniz çarşaf gibiydi.
Dünya Turumuz Orta Doğu üzerinden devam edecek. İyi seyirler :D

Şanlıurfa is exist here way before 2000 BC, Şanlıurfa used to be under Mesopotamia or Babylon and was known by another name Urfa or Edessa in Arabic Al-Ruha. Şanlıurfa was a major Syrian culture, many people spoke Arabic rather than Turkish. Nowadays Most people here from the north of Iraq, and Syria which is also known as Kurdish. People here speak Kurdish Kurmanji and Zaza–Sorani(سۆرانی).
If you are practicing the Abrahamic faith, which is Christianity, Islam, and Judaism, then you must know the prophet Abraham the father of Ismael and Isaaq. in the Islamic world known, Prophet Ibrahim and Ismael together built the Kaba of Mecca which is in Saudi Arabia. Now you may be questioning so what is the relationship this place with Abraham?
So just to let you know as per the history and biblical information, Urfa is the birthplace of the prophet Abrahams. He was born in Mesopotamia in an area called Edessa which is the current day call as Sanliurfa where I'm standing now.
Prophet Abraham was born in URFA during 1996-BC. almost 2000 years prior to Christ. During that period the cruelest king Nimrod came to know there will be a male child who will be born and a threat to his thrones, so Nimrod didn't want to take a risk and he ordered to kill all the newborn male children, so Abraham hide here in a cave for 7 years.

After experiencing all sides of Marmaris, Turkey there are definitely some good and bad aspects of visiting. Cleopatra Island (kleopatra adası) and its beautiful sand makes a Marmaris holiday worthwhile almost by itself and we spend time visiting Incekum Beach and a hidden garden restaurant as well. Marmaris by day has a lot of GOOD to see.
Marmaris at night can be another story. It was our first time ever visiting Marmaris and it sure made Gokce feel like a foreigner in her own country.

В сентябре 2019 проект «Кружок» вернулся в деревню Сардаял с учебной программой по журналистике. Школьники учились брать друг у друга интервью, писали новости, исследовали свои чувства и отношение к родному месту. Результатом стала настоящая газета «Жизнь деревни Сардаял», которую подростки сделали при поддержке Сони Эльтерман, Игната Шестакова и редакции Strelka Magazine.
Фильм получился не про школу. Каждый выезд — это прежде всего исследование, встреча и контакт, диалог. Для тех, кто живёт в Москве — это не меньшая ценность, чем для ребят из деревни. Именно такую встречу вы сможете увидеть в фильме.
