Budiya Mai Mandir is one of the most famous Temple in Gorakhpur . IT'S inside the Kushami Jungle on NH-28 . In this video I am sharing many useful information about Mandir and History of Budiya Mai Mandir.
गोरखपुर के कुसम्ही जंगल में बुढ़िया माई का एक पुराना मंदिर है। यहां दोनों नवरात्र (चैत्र और शारदीय) के अलावा आम दिनों में भी लाखों श्रद्धालुओं की भीड़ होती है।
मृत व्यक्ति को किया था जिंदा :-
विजहरा गांव निवासी जोखू सोखा की मौत हो जाने पर परिजनों ने उसे तुरानाले में प्रवाहित कर दिया। शव बहता हुआ थारुओं द्वारा जंगल में बनायी गई तीन पिंडियों के पास पहुंचा। यहां बुढ़िया माई अवतरित हुईं और जोखू सोखा को जिंदा कर दिया। जोखू सोखा ने यहीं रहकर माता की पिंडी के रूप में पूजा शुरू की। उन्होंने जिस रूप में माता को देखा था उसी रूप की मूर्ति स्थापित कर मंदिर बनवा दिया।

The Best Ways of Traveling From India to Nepal

Delhi to Kathmandu
If you want to fly (and get some awesome Himalayan views), Delhi to Kathmandu is the least expensive route by air to Nepal. Otherwise, the best option is to take a train and then a bus. Taking the bus all the way has become slightly more appealing since the Delhi Transport Corporation launched a direct service to Kathmandu in late 2014. However, it's still a long hour haul!

Varanasi to Kathmandu
Many people travel overland from Varanasi to Kathmandu, either by bus, or train and bus combination. It takes less time than overland from Delhi. It's also possible to fly. However, it's much costlier than from Delhi, although it takes around the same time.

Via the Sunauli Border Crossing
Most people going overland from north India to Nepal pass through the Sunauli border to Bhairahawa in central Nepal, accessible from unappealing Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh. This is the biggest and busiest India-Nepal border crossing. There are frequent connections to Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Lumbini from there.

Via the Raxaul Border Crossing
The Raxaul border crossing to Birganj in central Nepal is accessible from Patna in Bihar. It's most convenient for anyone traveling from Bodh Gaya or Kolkata. There are direct trains from Kolkata to rather grim Raxaul (16 hours). From Bodh Gaya, it's quicker to take a bus or car and travel by road (eight hours) as opposed to train (13 hours). From the border, buses take six to seven hours to reach Kathmandu and eight hours to Pokhara. Shared jeeps to Kathmandu are a quicker option and only take four to five hours.

Via the Panitanki Border Crossing
The Panitanki border crossing, to Kakarbhitta in far eastern Nepal, is accessible from Siliguri in West Bengal. It's most utilized by people traveling from Darjeeling, Kolkata, Sikkim and the rest of northeast India. Buses, taxis and shared jeeps run to the border from Siliguri, Kalimpong, and Gangtok in Sikkim. The border crossing is open 24 hours, and is quiet and simple. It kinds of feels like being in the middle of nowhere! There are regular buses to Kathmandu (14 to 16 hours) and Pokhara (15 hours) from Kakarbhitta. It's worth stopping at Chitwan National Park on the way to break the journey. Get off the bus at Sauraha (nine hours from Kakarbhitta), which is the closest town and travel hub to the park.

Via the Banbasa Border Crossing
This border crossing, at Banbasa in Uttarakhand, is the most westerly crossing into Nepal from India. It's the quickest, and most rural, route from Delhi to Kathmandu. Yet, it's still a long way from Mahendra Nagar (now officially called Bhimdatta) on the Nepali side of the border to Kathmandu. Buses take about 15 to 17 hours. Banbasa can be reached from Barielly, Rudrapur, or Haldwani in Uttarakhand (three hours). It's possible to get buses to Pokhara and Kathmandu from Mahendra Nagar. If you're not short on time, it's worth visiting Bardia National Park on the way (get off at Ambassa, about five hours from Mahendra Nagar. Thakurdwara is the closest village to the park and it's about 40 minutes from Ambassa).

Other Border Crossings
Two other border crossing points (from Jamunaha in Uttar Pradesh to Nepalganj in western Nepal, and Gauriphanta in Uttar Pradesh to Dhanghadi in far western Nepal) are open to tourists. However, they're difficult to reach and rarely used. Non-official border crossings at Janakpur, Biratnagar and Ilam rarely allow foreign tourists.
Want to take a side trip from India to Nepal? It's a popular thing to do and there are a number of ways to go about it, depending on how much money you're prepared to spend. This guide outlines the best options for travel.
Do note that Indian citizens don't require a visa to enter Nepal. However, if traveling by air, Indian citizens must show a valid passport or Voter ID when checking in, and at immigration. Aadhar Card is not a satisfactory form of identification. If traveling overland, other forms of government-issued identification can be used at border crossings.
Foreigners can obtain a Nepali tourist visa on arrival at the airport in Kathmandu. Nepali tourist visas are also available from immigration at land border crossings that are open to foreigners. In addition to your passport, you'll need passport-sized photos and possibly foreign currency

Steam in India 2005 - Riga Sugar Mill
In 2005 The Riga Sugar Mill, located in the north east of Bihar State, not far from the Nepal border, operated two metre gauge locos. A 1930 built Hudswell Clarke 0-8-0ST and a small Hunslet 0-4-0 diesel built in 1935. Ox carts were also used to bring a significant quantity of cane to the mill. Despite this ancient motive power, Riga Sugar Mill, is modern a factory and produces Sugar, Molasses, Bagass (the fibrous residue of cane burnt in the furnace to produce power), Ethyl Alcohol, Industrial Alcohol and fertiliser.

Crossing the border from India to Nepal via Sonauli/Sunauli
If you want to cross the border from India into Nepal one of the most popular routes is via the Sonauli crossing. There isn’t a train which goes right to Sonauli, so you need to catch a train to Gorakhpur then a jeep/bus to Sonauli. We caught the train from Varanasi to Gorakhpur at 00:40, arriving at 6:55am (although our train was delayed an hour so we didn’t arrive until 7:55am). We were worried Varanasi train station might be very quiet at that time in the morning, however time didn’t seem to matter – all shops were open and there were lots of people waiting for trains.
Bus / Jeep from Gorakhpur train station to Sonauli
At Gorakhpur train station there are many jeeps waiting to take people to the Indian border at Sonauli – these cost approx. rs.100 per person for a shared jeep and take 3 hours, although jeeps are very cramped and will not leave until they are EXTREMELY full.
We decided to take a public bus to the border which cost us rs.70 each and also took 3 hours. In order to catch a bus, walk across the road opposite the train station then start walking right – you will come across many buses.
Indian Immigration
The bus will drop you approximately 300m away from the Indian immigration office. There are many cycle rickshaws which will take you to the immigration office for rs.20 – but it is easy to just walk. The immigration office is located on the right about 100m before the border – it is easy to miss so keep your eyes peeled. It only takes about 10 minutes to pass through immigration and get a stamp out of India.
Nepalese Immigration
After getting your stamp out of India, walk across the border into Nepal, about 25 metres after the gates you will find the Nepalese immigration office on your right. It took us around 20 minutes to complete the forms and get the Nepalese visa.
There are many touts standing around outside the immigration office offering buses to Chitwan / Pokhara / Kathmandu. These are tourist buses and so expect to pay more for these than a public bus. I advise you to avoid tourist buses in Nepal as they are more expensive, always packed full, and only stop to eat at expensive tourist restaurants.
