Centro (Center) is a neighborhood in Zona Central of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It represents the financial heart of the city. Downtown remains the heart of the city's business community. Some of the largest companies in Brazil have their head offices here, including Petrobras, Eletrobras, BNDES and Vale. Most of Rio's skyscrapers, especially the tallest ones, are located in this neighbourhood. Crowded from Monday to Friday during regular work hours, it becomes empty during the evening and on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

Despite still having a large number of residences, the neighborhood is predominantly commercial with a mixture of historical buildings as well as modern skyscrapers. The historic and financial centre of the city, sites of interest include the Paço Imperial, Candelária Church, the Old Cathedral of Rio de Janeiro, and the modern-style Saint Sebastian's Cathedral. Around Marechal Floriano Square, there are several landmarks from the Belle Époque such as the Municipal Theatre and the National Library building. The Centro area also has several museums such as the National Museum of Fine Arts and the National Historical Museum.

Domingos Martins é um município brasileiro no estado do Espírito Santo, Região Sudeste do país. Localiza-se na região sudoeste serrana
do estado, a 42 km da capital capixaba, Vitória.[2] Ocupa uma área de 1 229,210 km², sendo que 3 km² estão em perímetro urbano, e sua
população foi estimada em 34 120 habitantes em 2021.
O território do atual município era cortado por uma estrada ligando Minas Gerais a Vitória, aberta a pedido do príncipe regente
João VI de Portugal em 1816. Mas foi a chegada dos imigrantes, sobretudo italianos, alemães e pomeranos, que intensificou o
crescimento populacional e econômico entre os séculos XIX e XX. A influência cultural deixada pelos imigrantes europeus ainda é
visível em algumas comunidades, sendo expressa em hábitos e costumes diversos pelos descendentes.
O cultivo do café, a fruticultura, a pecuária, a prestação de serviços e o turismo figuram entre as atividades econômicas mais
importantes. Domingos Martins possui uma série de bens naturais que são destinos de turistas, como cachoeiras, montanhas e trilhas,
sendo um dos atrativos mais visitados a Pedra Azul, no Parque Estadual da Pedra Azul. O principal acesso ao município é através da
BR-262.
HISTÓRIA
O território do atual município de Domingos Martins era cortado pela Estrada Real São Pedro de Alcântara, que passava pelos distritos
de Aracê e Melgaço, seguindo um trajeto próximo ao da atual BR-262. Essa estrada foi aberta a pedido do príncipe regente João
VI de Portugal em 1816, com a intenção de ligar a região central de Minas Gerais a Vitória, de modo que o estado mineiro não
dependesse economicamente apenas do Rio de Janeiro (com o qual era ligado através do Caminho Velho). Quartéis foram instalados
em Aracê e Melgaço, dando sequência ao povoamento dessas localidades. Os quartéis tinham o objetivo de preservar a segurança
daqueles que circulavam pela estrada.
Apesar de já existirem essa estrada e pequenos núcleos de residentes, a ocupação da atual sede de Domingos Martins só veio a se
consolidar a partir de 1847, quando uma leva de imigrantes alemães se instalou na localidade, vinda pelo rio Jucu Braço do Norte.
Nesse início chegaram pelo menos 39 famílias compostas por católicos e luteranos, com a intenção de constituir uma vila, posteriormente
denominada Santa Isabel. Os católicos instalaram uma capela no morro de Boa Vista, dedicada a São Bonifácio e consagrada em 1852. Os
luteranos, por sua vez, construíram um templo no Morro do Campinho entre 1858 e 1860.
O estabelecimento dos imigrantes europeus, interessados principalmente no clima parecido com o de seu continente de origem e nas
paisagens físicas atrativas, foi fundamental para o desenvolvimento da localidade. Além dos alemães, posteriormente vieram, em grande
escala, italianos e pomeranos. Os distritos de Melgaço e Paraju receberam grandes levas de alemães e pomeranos, enquanto que em
Aracê se concentraram os italianos, porém os imigrantes ocuparam áreas por todo o atual município. A partir da vila de Santa
Isabel, foi criada a freguesia, reconhecida pelo decreto provincial nº 21 de 20 de novembro de 1869, pertencente a Viana.
A freguesia de Santa Isabel foi emancipada pelo decreto estadual nº 41 de 2 de outubro de 1891, mas chegou a ser extinta pelo decreto
estadual nº 41 de 18 de janeiro de 1892. Contudo, sua emancipação foi restabelecida pelo decreto nº 29 de 20 de outubro de 1893,
passando a se chamar Domingos Martins pela lei estadual nº 1.307 de 30 de dezembro de 1921. Seu nome é uma referência a Domingos José
Martins, capixaba que foi líder da Revolução Pernambucana, tendo sido fuzilado na Bahia em 1817. No decorrer do século XX, sua área
passou por transformações em sua composição, com a criação de distritos e o desmembramento de Marechal Floriano em 1991.

In this virtual walking tour, we went to Square. Pereira Parobé and Marechal Floriano Peixoto streets that are close to public market in the downtown. There are many shopping malls, stores , cafeteira and restaurants in these streets.

In the middle of 2010s, Porto Alegre had a growing wave of violence, being ranked as 39th among the world's 50 most violent cities in 2017. Nevertheless, the number of violent crimes has been dropping steadily since 2018.

Walking in the General Osorio Square ( Praça General Osório ) in Ipanema, with its street market (fera). A different aspect of this amazing neighborhood, well know for the Ipanema Beach, that inspired Vinicius de Moraes and Tom Jobim to compose Garota de Ipanema.

The square is bordered to the north by Rua Visconde de Pirajá, the main commercial street in Ipanema; Rua Jangadeiros to the east; Rua Prudente de Morais to the south, which extends west from the square; and the small Rua Teixeira de Melo to the west.

General Osório Square was designed by José Antônio Moreira Filho, 2nd Baron of Ipanema (1830–1899), founder of Vila Ipanema, the precursor to the present-day neighborhood. The square was formerly called Praça Ferreira Viana, and later Praça Marechal Floriano Peixoto, In 1922 it was renamed in honor of Manuel Luís Osório, Marquis of Erval (1808–1879), a Brazilian military officer during the Paraguayan War. Saracuras Fountain, designed by Valentim da Fonseca e Silva in 1796 at the Convento da Ajuda, was moved to the square in 1911 after the demolition of the convent.

The square was home to a happening titled Flags at General Osório Square (Bandeiras na Praça General Osório) in February 1968. Numerous artists of the period, including Nelson Leirner, Flávio Mota, Carlos Scliar, Hélio Oiticica, and others, decorated the square with textile art on the eve of Carnival. While the happening was not overtly political and attracted little attention from the military police, it closely predated the murder of Edson Luís de Lima Souto in March 1968 and the subsequent March of the One Hundred Thousand against the violence of the military regime. The Sunday Hippie Fair (Feira Hippie de Ipanema) at General Osório Square, a weekly art fair, dates to the same year.

General Osório Station, the terminal station of Line 1 of the Rio de Janeiro Metro, opened in December 2009 northeast of the square.

1 – Santuário de Graças Schoenstatt
Fundado em 25 de abril de 1948 e com sua inauguração em 18 de maio de 1950, o Santuário da Mãe, Rainha e Vencedora Três Vezes Admirável de Schoenstatt em Londrina, tem a missão de ser Tabor da Esmagadora da Serpente. Dia 18 de cada mês tem missa da Aliança de Amor e Romaria às 20h.

2 – Lago Igapó
O Igapó foi inaugurado em 10 de dezembro de 1959, no dia do Jubileu de Prata de Londrina. É um local de lazer, que além da represa, propicia a prática de esportes náuticos.
Possui uma vasta área urbanizada com piscinas, pistas de aeromodelismo e foto clube. Em 1996, o lago foi esvaziado, limpo e teve suas margens revitalizadas, ganhando a ciclovia, o Teatro do Lago, Jardins e chafariz.

3 – Catedral Metropolitana de Londrina
A Catedral de Londrina passou por três construções, o que causou uma enorme mudança desde sua forma original. A primeira Catedral foi construída em madeira no ano de 1934.
Em 1943 foi inaugurada a Catedral de alvenaria, que mais tarde foi demolida em parte, para dar lugar à nova Catedral, construída em 1970. Em fevereiro de 1967, A paróquia de Londrina foi elevada a categoria de Diocese. Em novembro de 1970 foi elevada a arquidiocese.

4 – Museu Histórico de Londrina “Padre Carlos Weiss”
O prédio da antiga Estação Ferroviária de Londrina, construído entre os anos de 1946 e 1949, teve suas atividades de origem encerradas em 1982. Após esse período, passou por um processo de adequação de seus espaços para abrigar o Museu Histórico de Londrina Pe. Carlos Weiss. Na antiga plataforma de embarque estão expostos dois carros ferroviários como parte do acervo do Museu, que inclui uma locomotiva Baldwin e seu tender de abastecimento.

5 – Jardim Botânico de Londrina
O Jardim Botânico de Londrina foi aberto ao público em 17/12/2013 e é uma das mais importantes unidades de pesquisa e conservação de espécies nativas e exóticas no Paraná. O Jardim Botânico é um espaço voltado à proteção e cultivo de espécies silvestres raras, ameaçadas de extinção, ou econômica e ecologicamente importantes para a restauração e reabilitação de ecossistemas.

6 – Calçadão de Londrina
O Calçadão foi implantado em 1977 e originou-se da reurbanização das Praças Willie Davids, Marechal Floriano e Gabriel Martins, como projeto do arquiteto Jaime Lerner.
No Calçadão os artesãos expõem seus trabalhos, grupos de teatro apresentam peças, músicos cantam, dançam e tocam. Além disso, o Calçadão possui bancas de revistas, lanchonetes, choperias, floriculturas, lojas, bancos, restaurantes, teatro e até um coreto.

7 – Salto do Apucaraninha
O Salto do Apucaraninha é uma cachoeira de 116 metros de altura localizada a cerca de 80 Km do centro de Londrina, dentro da reserva indígena Apucaraninha, pertencente aos índios Kaingang. O visitante interessado em conhecê-la, precisa obter autorização da FUNAI.

8 – Biblioteca Pública Municipal
A Biblioteca Pública Municipal de Londrina (BPML) foi inaugurada em 04 de setembro de 1951. Recebeu o nome de Biblioteca Pública “Prof. Pedro Viriato Parigot de Souza”. A Biblioteca Pública possui atualmente um acervo variado destinado à consulta do público em geral.

9 – Monumento “O Passageiro”
Um dos monumentos mais conhecidos de Londrina, “O Passageiro”, foi inaugurado no dia 10 de dezembro de 1987 em comemoração ao 55º aniversário da Viação Garcia. A escultura tem 15 metros de altura e possui colunas de concreto que apoiam uma esfera de cinco metros de diâmetro.

It is also known as Rua das Flores in its touristic section, between Avenida Luiz Xavier and Rua Presidente Faria, whose pavement is exclusively made of petit-pavè, making it the first large public thoroughfare exclusively for pedestrians in Brazil.

The street starts in the city center and after the end of the calçadão, on the corner with Rua Presidente Faria, the street maintains its space for cars, extending to the neighborhood of Alto da XV.

In its touristic stretch, it is characterized by centenary buildings and townhouses, with bars, shops and restaurants and flower beds in all its extension. One of its most notable buildings is Palácio Avenida.

Rua XV de Novembro is a heritage listed as a landscape by state law in Paraná since 1974.

Rua XV de Novembro is a clear denomination of the republican spirit that swept the monarchy at the end of the 19th century, as this street had been called Rua Imperatriz, since 1880, when the then provincial capital received a visit from the sovereigns. Between 1850 and 1880, it was called Rua das Flores, a nickname still used today for the stretch that became a sidewalk in the early 1970s.

On May 20, 1972, part of the street was closed to the circulation of cars, making it exclusively for pedestrians.

Florianópolis is the capital of the Brazilian state of Santa Catarina, in the southern region of the country. The municipality is made up of the main island, the island of Santa Catarina, the mainland and some surrounding small islands. The city has a population of 500,973 inhabitants, according to estimates for 2019. It is the second most populous municipality in the state (after Joinville) and the 48th in Brazil. The metropolitan region has an estimated population of 1,209,818 inhabitants, the 21st largest in the country. The city is known for having a high quality of life, being the Brazilian capital with the highest score on the Human Development Index (HDI), calculated by the UNDP, of the United Nations.

Name of the city:
The city was originally called Nossa Senhora do Desterro. After the proclamation of the Republic in 1889, Santa Catarina resisted the new government. I wanted to be independent. But the federal troops would not let go and a civil war ensued. The federals' victory took place when Marshal Floriano Peixoto was President of the Republic. Thus, in 1894, Desterro's name was changed to Florianópolis, which means city of Floriano, in honor of the then Brazilian president during the period of conflict.

Considered by many inhabitants and tourists who visit it as having a unique beauty, endowed with strong traces of the Azorean culture, observed in buildings, handicraft, folklore, cuisine and religious traditions, Florianópolis has in its diversified tourism one of its main sources of income. Among the tourist attractions at present, in addition to the beaches, the locations where the first communities of Azorean immigrants settled, such as Ribeirão da Ilha, Lagoa da Conceição, Santo Antônio de Lisboa and the historic center itself, stand out.

Praça XV de Novembro is the main meeting point of the city. It stands out for its architectural, cultural and behavioral values. This public place exists with remarkable relief since the foundation of Florianópolis, a time when the island was not even called Desterro. Parque Náutico de Curitiba

O Parque Iguaçu ( Parque Náutico) é um logradouro da cidade de Curitiba, capital do estado do Paraná. O parque faz divisa com a cidade de São José dos Pinhais e tem 569 mil m2, fazendo parte do complexo Parque Regional do Iguaçu (que possui, ao todo, 8 milhões de m2), que tem como atração principal, o Jardim Zoológico de Curitiba. O Parque Iguaçu foi criado em 1976 para preservar os fundos de vale do Rio Iguaçu.

A principal atração deste parque é a Raia de Remo e Canoagem (também conhecido como Parque Naútico Iguaçu) que já foi palco de competições internacionais.

O parque foi criado na década de 1970 e quando o zoológico foi inaugurado, ao lado deste parque (1982), criou-se o complexo do Parque Regional do Iguaçu, porém, o parque o e zoológico são separados por uma rodovia (continuação da Avenida Marechal Floriano Peixoto) que liga Curitiba a São José dos Pinhais.
