10 Best place to visit in Manoc-Manoc Philippines

Manocmanoc Island of Esperanza Peninsula | Masbate PH

There’s a joke about a Cebuano-speaking man who was asked, “Asa ka nagpuyo sa Cebu?” (Where do you reside in Cebu?) And the man answered, “Sa Esperanza!” Some variation of the joke would go by either answering “Sa Placer” or “Sa Pio V. Corpuz” or “Sa Cataingan”. Because majority of the people living in these four municipalities on the southeastern portion of Masbate island are Cebuano speaking people. Manocmanoc island is the land territory of Masbate in the Visayan sea nearest to Cebu. It is just 8km away from Carnaza Island of Cebu. Manocmanoc island is frequented by island hopping tourists from Cebu or Leyte during summer. And it has become shelter to fishermen from Bantayan, Cebu. Manocmanoc is a great tourist destination for those who love the sea, unique rock formations, and white and clean beaches. Hopefully the municipal government of Esperanza will assert more authority over this territory. Rise Esperanza!

❤️❤️❤️Special thanks to the Municipal Government of Esperanza for the transportation and security services provided us during our tour of Manocmanoc.

Boracay's main tourism area, White Beach, is on the western side of the island and is sheltered from the wind. During the Amihan season, the water off White Beach is often glassy-smooth. On the eastern side of the island, hills on the northern and southern ends of the island channel the Amihan season wind from the east onshore, onto Bulabog Beach in the central part of the island's eastern side. This makes the reef-protected waters off that beach ideal for windsurfing and kiteboarding / kitesurfing.
