Road to Hell stands for everything it says. I will be heading into unknown world of dangers. Moving from capital Tanarive to Maintirano. It is known as the death road by its condition and security reasons. Little I knew it was going to be toughest motorcycle ride of my life. Madagascar holds surprises and strikes hard everyone who underestimates it.

A wonderful holiday in the Middle-South part of Madagascar.
In this video there are some videos that I made with my action cam.
We saw all the biodiversity of this unique isle.
Any type of landscape: desert, steppe, mountain, tropical rainforests, etc.
Animals seen: lemurs, fossa, chameleons, bugs, butterflies, birds, crocodiles, bats, whales, fish and others.
Seen a lot of species of Baobab that are endemic of this stunning isle.

Madagascar , officially the Republic of Madagascar , and previously known as the Malagasy Republic, is an island country in the Indian Ocean, approximately 400 kilometres off the coast of East Africa across the Mozambique Channel.
At 592,800 square kilometres Madagascar is the world's second-largest island country.
The nation comprises the island of Madagascar and numerous smaller peripheral islands.
Following the prehistoric breakup of the supercontinent Gondwana, Madagascar split from the Indian subcontinent around 88 million years ago, allowing native plants and animals to evolve in relative isolation.
Consequently, Madagascar is a biodiversity hotspot; over 90% of its wildlife is found nowhere else on Earth.
The island's diverse ecosystems and unique wildlife are threatened by the encroachment of the rapidly growing human population and other environmental threats.
The archaeological evidence of the earliest human foraging on Madagascar may date up to 10,000 years ago.
Human settlement of Madagascar occurred by Austronesian peoples, arriving on outrigger canoes from present-day Indonesia, where the contemporary social and religious situation was that of Hinduism and Buddhism, along with native Indonesian culture.
These were joined around the 9th century AD by Bantu migrants crossing the Mozambique Channel from East Africa.
Other groups continued to settle on Madagascar over time, each one making lasting contributions to Malagasy cultural life.
The Malagasy ethnic group is often divided into 18 or more subgroups, of which the largest are the Merina of the central highlands.
Until the late 18th century, the island of Madagascar was ruled by a fragmented assortment of shifting sociopolitical alliances.

Madagascar Challenge - No Man's Land - Episode 8
Journey continued towards south until i found myself at dead end. Made a dreadful decision to ride through mangroves all the way to Salary Bay. Even though no road existed between two checkpoints I managed to survive 110km of horrors.
As I appoached into the salty mangroves I got my self bogged and lost in the wilderness. Local Sakalava tribesmen helped me out and showed me tracks to make it all the way to Salary Bay.
It was a hell of a mission and took everything I had. Check it out!

Anjajavy Beaches
Apart from the wide and quiet beach in the front, Hotel Anjajavy in Madagascar has several beautiful and completely deserted beaches within a short walking distance.
The hotel hosted a cocktail gathering on the main beach one evening for the guests (which were only about ten of us), where we watched the burning sun set on the horizon and a full moon rising behind the coconut trees.
