We explored around the Hokianga area, also known as The Kauri Coast, which is famous for the largest area of mature Kauri Trees in all of New Zealand. The largest and oldest Kauri Trees are found here. These ancient trees are the inspiration for the Avatar movie trees. We also roamed through some beautiful rainforest to a pristine waterfall and walked along a breathtaking coastal track.
