During this incredible journey, we'll take many boat rides, including a trip to the birthplace of the Nile and a visit to the gorgeous Lake Bunyonyi.

In this video we are on our way to the hot springs of Kikuletwa.
The hot springs of Kikuletwa, also known as Chemka Hot Springs, are close to the village of Rundugai and are one of the most beautiful places in Tanzania to relax. The small pond is surrounded by palm and fig trees with winding roots. In the morning, Blue Monkeys can often be observed in the trees, whilst the crystal clear, turquoise water invites you to a refreshing bath. Although they are called hot springs, the water in Kikuletwa is not truly ‘hot’ but refreshing, as the water source is fed by Kilimanjaro itself.

Lake Mburo National Park is Uganda’s smallest national park
Lake Mburo National Park is located in Kiruhura District in the Western Region of Uganda, about 30 km (19 mi) east of Mbarara and about 240 km (150 mi) by road west of Kampala.
Lake Mburo was originally gazetted in 1933 as a controlled hunting area and upgraded to a game reserve in 1963. The region was settled by Banyankole Bahima pastoralists who traditionally herd Ankole cattle, and still do. The residents continued to graze their cattle in the reserve, a situation decried by western conservationists, who termed them invaders in 1981, but were expelled from their lands after it was upgraded to national park status in 1983, as hoped for by some in the West.

Birding through Uganda
Uganda is Africa’s premier bird watching destination, with over 1000 species of birds and a combination of Albertine Rift endemics, 'old forest' birds and papyrus species.
This safari is for the avid birder who wants to tick off at least 100 new species.

Uganda | Walking with Rhinos - Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
I started my 5 days road trip through Uganda at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. The Sanctuary is located 176 Km from Kampala making it perfect for a day trip or an overnight depending on your schedule.
Visiting this establishments has preserve these wonderful animals and you also get to learn a lot about them. Typically the walk may take anywhere from 1hr to 2hr. Its humbling to be close to such giants at one point I actually wondered if they could see me. Their hearing is however better than their eye sight so ssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
If you are in Uganda then its definitely a must see or if you have never been this should be your motivation - conserving other forms of life whilst supporting the local economy.

4K | Ultimate African Safari and Gorilla Trek in Uganda
In 2018 I went on a safari trip in Uganda, the landlocked African country at the equator.
The journey started in Entebbe at Lake Vicoria and continued to Queen Elisabeth National Park with the broad Kazinga channel and the tree-dwelling lions. In the rain forest of the Kibale National Park I watched the chimpanzees in the tree tops. The highlight of the journey was the Mountain Gorilla trekking in the heart of the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park next to the volcanoes of Virunga.
Further stops were at Lake Bunyonyi (world's fourth deepest lake), Lake Mburo National Park and the Uganda Wildlife Conservation Education Centre in Entebbe.
In the video you can see the notorious big five animals (lion, buffalo, rhino, elephant and leopard) in their natural habitat.
