A Quick Trip to Friedberg, Germany
In this video I share some of the highlights of my quick trip to Friedberg, Germany.
Friedberg is a small town in Germany 25-kilometers away from Frankfurt am Main.
I visited Friedberg during the middle of August and it was surprisingly quiet. There were hardly any tourists around and my girlfriend that I had the town to ourselves to explore.
After an hour there wasn't much else to do in Friedberg so we continued on with the rest of our Central European and German road trip.

I was on a recent trip to magnificent Germany a few weeks ago and I had an opportunity to stop by Giessen, Germany where I had lived for four years as a kid.
My time in Giessen on this trip was very short but I am very grateful for my time spent in the early evening and early morning in Giessen.

The GERMAN town the AMERICAN army spared - Friedberg Hessen
I had a quiet wander around this historic medieval town. This town in Hessen is called Friedberg. And everything you will see today is because of the humanity of the people who negotiated and saved it on the 29th of March 1945. This town has the most incredible sights to see. It´s a treasure trove for people who are interested in German history and culture.
My meditative videos show a calming and artistic view of the places I visit and the quiet, peaceful wanders I take through them. Medieval villages, picturesque cottages, beautiful cities. Relax and escape with me from the busy bustling world to my dreamy and serene slow living way of seeing my surroundings. Experience the magic of peering into the past and being in a fairytale, just for a little while.

Heute Präsentieren ich euch, die Burgruine Münzenberg. Diese ist ein wunderschönes Burgruine Mitte im Herz von Münzenberg, hier ist eine Spaziergang durch das Garden immer sehr schön, (in komme gerne hier) . Hier ist ein Ausflug definitiv Wert. Burgruine Münzenberg liegt gerade mal 27 Min. von Frankfurt entfernt. Das ist die sechste Stadt von meiner Serie an Video von Städten, die sie evtl. aussuchen können nach den Lock Down, und somit könnt ihr das Tourismus, und kleine Läden und Ristoranten helfen.
An diese stellen möchte ich das Ordnungsamt von Münzenberg, sowie die Polizei, und auch das das Staatliche Schlosser und Garten Verwaltung Hessen, für die freundgliche Erlaubnisse dort zu fliegen, und auch die Bilder und Video zu veröffentlichen.

This town is truly a gem. We had heard of it. And we had seen some images of it. But it just did not compare to actually being there. What an exceptionally beautiful city. #Quedlingburg is worth a visit every season: just imagine what it would be like at Christmas and with snow. We hope you enjoy our little capture of this amazing city.
While driving there we saw tourist road signs along the highway with the depiction of the sights to see in the area But ! always with a broom flying Witch added to the official signs. So cool.
It could be the location of many a studio #ghibli movie. It could be a #harrypotter scene. For us it ranks up there with the Must-See cities of Europe like: #venice #amsterdam #praque #vienna #paris #bruges #orleans #london #stockholm #rome
Unesco world heritage town of Quedlinburg Germany. Located in the west of Saxon Anhalt. It was an influential and prosperous trading center in the early Middel Ages. The town existed since the 9th century. The castle complex was founded by King Henry I and built up by emperor Otto I in 936. It was an imperial palace of the Saxon emperors.

In diesem Video stelle ich euch die Sehenswürdigkeiten in Quedlinburg im Harz vor, und erkläre euch, woher der Name dieser mittelalterlichen Stadt kommt, die mit geschichtsträchtigen Gebäuden wie dem Höllenhof, und der einzigartigen Krypta in der St. Wiperti Kirche, jedes Jahr eine Vielzahl von Touristen in den Harz lockt. Zudem gehe ich auf die Vergangenheit des Münzenberg ein, und welche Gesellschaftlichen Schichten dort ursprünglich wohnten. Aufgrund der ca. 1300 Fachwerkhäuser, die über mehrere Jahrhunderte hinweg erbaut wurden, und dem, dem Liudolfinger Adelsgeschlecht abstammendem Herzog von Sachsen, Otto der Große, hat Quedlinburg einen so großen Einfluss auf den Tourismus im Harz, dass die mittelalterliche Stadt im Dezember 1994, zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe erklärt wurde.
