Jede Menge Dampfloks aus dem letzten Jahrhundert stehen im Deutschen Dampflokmuseum in Neuenmarkt bei Kulmbach. Dort gibt es auch den Salonwagen, den die Kanzler Konrad Adenauer und Willy Brandt sowie Queen Elisabeth nutzten.

Comicmuseum | Bei Donald Duck in Entenhausen | Erika Fuchs Haus in Franken
Erika Fuchs, die Übersetzerin und Chefredakteurin des Micky Maus Magazins (von 1951 bis 1988), lebte in Schwarzenbach an der Saale im Fichtelgebirge. Heute gibt es in der kleinen Stadt das Erika Fuchs-Haus. Das ist ein Comic-Museum, das sich mit Erika Fuchs und ihrer Arbeit beschäftigt. Hier geht es vor allem um die Disney-Comics und die Welt im Entenhausen/Duckburg, die Erika Fuchs für den deutschen Markt erschuf. Auf dem Friedhof von Schwarzenbach befindet sich das Grab von Erika Fuchs

This is the bridge over the Saale river at Hirschberg which became the border between the two Germanys in 1945. Now reopened.

Most people may think packaging pretty boring but it possibly effects your life more than you really imagine!
Central and Eastern European Packaging examines the packaging industry throughout this region, but in particular in the largest regional economies which are Russia, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Ukraine and Austria. That is not to say that the other countries are forgotten, they are not, but obviously there is less going on. However the fact that there are so many travel related films here is not from holidays but from business trips attending trade fairs around the region. Every packaging trade fair is a new excuse to make another film!

Chemnitz is a city in Saxony, eastern Germany. Its huge Karl Marx Monument commemorates the socialist pioneer for whom the city was once named. Nearby, the reconstructed Red Tower is a remnant of the city's defensive walls. The Gunzenhauser Museum displays modern art and is an example of the New Objectivity style of architecture. HOF, Germany ???????? - 4K 60fps (UHD)
We are in Hof, Germany - a city of a bit more than 45,000 people in Upper Franconia / Bavaria. Hof was destroyed by fire in 1823. Many re-built houses feature the Biedermeyer architectural style.
Hof's elevation of 500 meters grants it a refreshing coolness, and in the 20th century, it humorously earned the nickname the Bavarian Siberia. This was due to its proximity to communist East Germany and Czechoslovakia, which brought special subsidies until 1990. Today, tourism plays a some in Hof's local economy.
On this evening we see a quiet center, where most shops area closed and seemingly no other tourists around.
We start at the Lorenzpark in the south of the the center. We get to see much of Hof's center before we stroll along the Saale river. We our walk at the Bürgerpark Theresienstein.
Note: this walk was recorded with a limited equipment on my way back from the Camino de Santiago. Audio quality is rather poor with lots of wind noise.

Walking in KULMBACH / Germany ????????- Rainy Sunday Tour - 4K 60fps (UHD)
Kulmbach / Germany is a town in Franconia, Bavaria. The town is famous for Plassenburg Castle, for its sausages and (thanks to a large brewery) for its beer. There are a few other sights in the city center which we will visit on this walking tour.
We start our walk at the Dr.-Stammberger-Halle where events of the city mostly take place. Next we walk into the old town of Kulmbach but first uphill to the White Tower (Weißer Turm). It gets further up to the Red Tower (Roter Turm) and we can enjoy some view over Kulmbach. It's a rainy Sunday and few people are out in the street.
Our tour continues heading down to the center again where we see the Petrikirche. We stroll around some back alleys while heading towards the market square with the Townhall of Kulmbach and the Luitpoldbrunnen.
We check out a few of Kulmbach's pedestrian streets though with the shops closed on Sunday we eventually head to the Zinnsfelderbrunnen. So we get back to where we started, the Dr.-Stammberger-Halle, to end this tour of Kulmbach.

Two Visitors from Muenchberg
Gert and son, Peter, are touring the USA. They've seen New York, Chicago and St. Louis in their Mustang. They spent two days in Jefferson City, bringing greetings from our partner city. They will head for Tulsa, L.A. and San Francisco. We visited with them at their hosts' home -- Larry and Cathy Kolb, and also interviewed our favorite German citizen, Peter Goldschmidt.

Ehemals freiadliges Haus und Hof am Münchberg des Propstes Graslog vom Kloster Höchst, später Burgmannenhaus der Gans von Otzberg. Am Eingang des Treppenturms ist das Allianzwappen der Gans von Otzberg mit den Herren von Bettendorff angebracht
Bis zur Eingemeindung war Hering die kleinste Stadt Hessens. Sie liegt auf etwa 300 bis 368 Meter Höhe am Otzberg, auf dem die gleichnamige Veste steht. Der Berg ist der übriggebliebene Basaltkegel eines erloschenen Vulkans, dessen Eruptionen einst die geologischen Voraussetzungen für die äußerst fruchtbare Umgebung schufen.

สัปดาห์ก่อนมีโอกาสได้ไปเยี่ยม Daddy + Mami ที่ münchberg (Bayern) เมืองที่นัตตี้ไปแลกเปลี่ยน แล้ว Host ได้พาไปเที่ยวเมือง Kulmbach เป็นเมืองเล็กๆ ที่ไม่ใกล้จากเมืองที่เราอยู่ ขับรถประมาณ40 นาทีก็ถึง เป็นเมืองเล็กๆที่น่ารักมาก ชอบเมืองนี้มาก ตึก และบ้านหลังเล็กๆ มีสีสันสะดุดตา อากาศวันนั้นดีมากๆเลย เอาเป็นว่าไปชมวิดีโอกันเลยดีกว่าค่ะ
