Maulbronn Monastery - UNESCO World Heritage Site
The UNESCO World Heritage site of Maulbrunn Monastery is a large monastic complex in south-western Germany, beautifully well-preserved since the Middle Ages. It's apparently one of the most complex monasteries north of the Alps, and it's certainly an impressive sight with lots of timber-framed buildings, Romanesque chapels, and one of the first Gothic buildings in all of Germany.

Automobile theme was well spread throughout the hotel. Many little details to discover, especially if you have booked a themed room. We spent hours looking at precious cars.
Rooms fantastic, Ultra modern and very comfy, amazing Motorworld location if your into your cars a must go. The hotel is super clean and has 2 very very good restaurants right on location so no driving.
The decor is fantastic! It may look zany and over the top (it is a bit) but the finish is excellent and the cleanliness is perfect. Really relaxed vibe, you can come and go without anyone in your face.
Minuses:
Traffic back from the Messe Stuttgart every evening is challenging but worth the effort.
Other things to do right on location a little sparce, but that is the only downside.

Radtour mit Besensuche - Mühlacker - Kloster Maulbronn - Knittlingen
Peter und ich sind mit dem E-MTB mal wieder on Tour. Ich starte zuhause in Birkenfeld und Peter treffe ich am Enzauenpark in Pforzheim. Dann geht es weiter an der Enz entlang nach Mühlacker. Von dort über Lienzingen und Zaisersweiher nach Maulbronn ins Weltkulturerbe Kloster Maulbronn.
Von Maulbronn suchen wir einen Weg nach Knittlingen um dort im Silberbesen einzukehren. Leider ist der Besen coronabedingt bis 3. Oktober geschlossen, so dass wir unser Glück im Alten Rathaus in Kleinvillars versuchen. Dort bekommen wir einen Platz, guten Wein und gutes Essen. So dass wir gestärkt den Heimweg antreten können.
Über Neulingen und vorbei am Pforzheimer Hauptfriedhof gelangen wir zum Siloah in Pforzheim, wo sich unserer Wege wieder trennen. Ich fahre noch zurück nach Birkenfeld und habe am Ende 67 km auf dem Tacho. Eine rundum schöne Tour.

Hiking Along The River Enz Loops Near Muelhausen In Germany
This short hike was an approximately 10km long track around the village Muehlhausen in Baden Wuerttemberg in Germany. The hike was along the river Enz, along old and abandoned vineyards and finally back to the village and along still cultivated vineyards at the end of autumn 2020.
SIGHTSEEING in Plochingen in GERMANY
Plochingen ist insbesondere für sein Hundertwasser-Haus und eine Toilette von Tomi Ungerer bekannt. Das Hundertwasser-Haus war zumindest teilweise begehbar aber die Toilette von Ungerer war leider an jenem Tag geschlossen. Oder auch für immer. We do sightseeing in Plochingen nearby to Stuttgart with its house of Hundertwasser in South Germany.

Wir starten unseren Rundgang durch Plochingen in der Schorndorferstraße. Anschließend gehen wir über die Marktstraße in die Urbanstraße und dann weiter über die Bergstraße. Durch die Esslinger Straße gehen wir weiter bis zum Hundertwasserhaus. Dort endet unser Rundgang durch Plochingen. We walk through the little city of Plochingen nearby to Esslingen in the South of Germany. In Plochingen is a house of the Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser.

STREET VIEW: Ludwigsburg in GERMANY
Wir starten in der Eberhardstrasse von Ludwigsburg und gehen auf die Stadtkirche zu. Nach einem Rundgang über den Marktplatz gehen wir über die obere Marktstrasse in die Wilhelmstrasse. Von dort geht es über die Arsenalstrasse bis zum Schillerplatz. Anschließend geht es über die Mathildenstrasse vorbei an der Filmakademie Baden Württemberg. Über die Stuttgarter Strasse geht es dann zum Residenzschloss Ludwigsburg und von dort aus zum Holzmarkt. Auf dem Holzmarkt endet der Rundgang.
