As of June 9, France is updating their travel restrictions to allow travellers from many countries to visit without quarantining! (Travellers must be fully vaccinated, and not all countries are included - so do some Googling for more info!)
For those of you who want to make the most of your upcoming travels, you can use Paris, France as a base to see other parts of France and even venture into neighbouring countries (as restrictions ease) to see more of the sights on your trip. While all of these locations are possible to visit in a day, you may want to dedicate more time (if you have it) to really see the area. But if you want a highlight of the area, a day trip can work well too!

[EN] The Montagne de Lure is a large mountain area in Provence, near Forcalquier. It starts in the Durance valley and ends at the Mont Ventoux massif. The area offers plenty of attractions for people who like mountain hiking, as well as for cyclists. Of course there are also ski resorts.
One of the interesting viewpoints is Cairn 2000, notable for its 3-meter high pyramid built of stones. Not far away is also the interesting abbey Notre-Dame de Lure, dating back to the 12th century and located at an altitude of about 1,200 meters above sea level.
[FR] La Montagne de Lure est un grand massif montagneux de Provence, à proximité de Forcalquier. Il commence dans la vallée de la Durance et se termine dans le massif du Mont Ventoux. La région offre de nombreuses attractions pour les amateurs de randonnée en montagne, ainsi que pour les cyclistes. Bien sûr, il y a aussi des stations de ski.
L'un des points de vue intéressants est le Cairn 2000, remarquable par sa pyramide de pierres de 3 mètres de haut. Non loin de là se trouve également l'intéressante abbaye Notre-Dame de Lure, datant du 12e siècle et située à une altitude d'environ 1 200 mètres au-dessus du niveau de la mer.
[PL] Montagne de Lure to duży obszar górski leżący w Prowansji, niedaleko Forcalquier. Zaczyna się w dolinie Durance, a kończy na masywie Mont Ventoux. Obszar oferuje mnóstwo atrakcji dla osób, które lubią wędrówki górskie, a także dla rowerzystów. Są tam też oczywiście ośrodki narciarskie.
Jednym z ciekawych punktów widokowch jest Cairn 2000, wyróżniający się 3-metrową piramidą zbudowaną z kamieni. Niedaleko znajduje się też interesujące opactwo Notre-Dame de Lure z XII w., położone na wysokości około 1200 metrów npm.
