Cerchiara di Calabria is a town in the province of Cosenza (Calabria region), part of the Calabria region of southern Italy, located in the Pollino National Park, Cercharia occupies the ancient site of Arponium in Magna Graecia, later known as Circlarium.
The town's main attraction is the Sanctuary of S. Maria delle Armi. The cells of hermit monks of Greek origin on Monte Sellario were already established by the 10th century.
Near the city there is the Cave of Nimphs (grotta delle ninfe) an ancient source of sulphurous water that forms therapeutic mud and now flows into a thermal pool.

Situata nel cuore di Lecce, Torre del Parco, splendida struttura edificata nel 1419 dal principe di Taranto Giovanni Antonio Orsini del Balzo, rappresenta uno dei monumenti simbolo della città del periodo tardo medioevale e rinascimentale.
Un grande Terrazzo, con vista su Porta S. Biagio, scavalca il lungo viale alberato e fa da ponte tra la Torre e il resto del complesso che comprende i Cortiletti, il Salone delle Feste, il Giardino d'Inverno con alti palmizi ed olmi secolari e le Sale del Principe in cui, nella metà del XV secolo, aveva sede la Zecca e il Tribunale.
