Welcome to the Musée de la Reddition, a significant site in global history. This building was once the headquarters for General Dwight D. Eisenhower during WWII. It was here, on May 7, 1945, where Germany officially surrendered, ending WWII in Europe. The museum showcases the War Room, left as it was since the day of the surrender. Can you imagine? In this room, decisions that shaped the course of history were made.
You'll find numerous exhibits depicting the lives of soldiers and civilians during the war. Original maps, photos, and documents provide a snapshot of the era. The museum also houses a remarkable collection of military uniforms and weaponry. There's an educational film about the end of the war, shown in the old projection room.
Remarkably, the museum operates in the same school where American soldiers once billeted. Musée de la Reddition is a poignant reminder of the gravity of war and the relief of peace. A visit here is an evocative step back into a world-changing event.

The classic train between Lille – Paris is comeback. On January 16 2021 the Hauts-de-France region and the SNCF launched the first TER from Lille-Flandres to Paris-Nord. Afer 30 years abandoned since arrival TGV and closing Corail.
The two return trips between the two cities will only run on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
Here are the train schesule
Lille 9:12 am – Paris 11:25 am.
Paris 10:22 am – Lille 12:32 pm.
Lille 7:12 pm – Paris 9:29 pm
Paris 6:28 pm – Lille 8:52 pm
This TER also serves Douai, Arras, Longueau and Creil, will also allow inhabitants of the south of the Hauts-de-France region to reach Lille without a connection via Paris or Amiens.

Недалеко от милого городка Luçon располагается весьма приятный парк цветов Parc Floral de la Court d'Aron. ???? Мы здесь были не в первый раз и опять попали на Католическую Пасху. В целом, это только плюс, потому что мы и погуляли и ребенок собрал яйца, получив за это подарок.
Парк очень приятный. Знаний языка для его посещения не требуется абсолютно, чтобы наслаждаться природой говорить не обязательно. Здесь даже есть мини-ферма, хотя это частое явление в подобных местах. Французы очень любят такого рода парки, скверы, озера, где кругом одна природа. Эко туризм такой...????

Wir waren zwei Wochen durch das Tal der Loire bis nach Nantes geradelt. Dort zog ein Unwetter auf und wir fuhren mit dem Zug 130 Kilometer südwestlich nach Les Sables d'Olonne. Von Hier ging es in zwei Etappen den Atlantik entlang bis in die Hafenstadt La Rochelle.
