Cascade Source de Lison is an extraordinary waterfall near Nans-Sous-Sainte-Anne (west of Pontartlier) in the region of Franche Comte/Jura, France.
Cascade Source de Lison is easy to reach from Pontarlier, Besancon or Dole. Drive to Nans-Sous-Sainte-Anne and take the D103 to “Source de Lison”, you will see the signs. A little further there is a sign “Source de Lison”. Go right here onto road D477. The road ends at a gift shop, parking and information center. The parking is FREE.
From the parking, it is a 200-meter walk to cascade Source de Lison and the caves and the beginning of the river Lison.
Although the waterfall of Source de Lison is only 10 meters high, it is very spectacular to be seen. The origin of the river lies in a cave and Cascade Source de Lison falls almost directly out of the cave.
Cascade des Tufs, also called Cascade Baume Les Messieurs, is a gorgeous waterfall near Baume les Messieurs in the region Franche Comte/Jura, France.
From Lons le Saunier take the D417 to Champagnole, after 12 kilometers take the exit to the left to Baume Les Messieurs. Make a left and follow the signs “Grottes”. At the end of the road, you will see a restaurant, you can park your car there for FREE. From here it is a short walk to Cascade des Tufs.
The site is easily accessible and is a great destination to visit with your family. Cascade des Tufs is a very beautiful waterfall where the water of the river Dard gushes over with moss-covered big rocks, forming an exceptional shape with many colors.
The source of Cascade des Tufs lies a few meters up at Petite source de la Cuisance. A hole in the mountain wall of cirque du Fer a Cheval consisting out of chalkstone also called Tuf. This is where the name Cascade des Tufs comes from.
You can visit Cascade des Tufs at every time during the year. It is beautiful during every season. In autumn the colors, in winter the amount of water, in spring the green colors and in summer you have a clear view on the moss.

You will be stunned when you see the scenery on this route which takes 5 hours from end to end, yet only covers 300km. It might not be fast, but it certainly is stunning! Enjoy!

Entre Lons-le-Saunier et Saint-Claude et perché à 430 m d’altitude, le lac de Vouglans s'étend sur 35 km de long.
Le lac de Vouglans aux allures de lac exotique avec son eau vert émeraude est l'endroit idéal pour les activités estivales. Ses ports, ses plages aménagées, son barrage, ses locations nautiques et son environnement en font un lieu d'exception. Sans oublier les belvédères pour en prendre plein les yeux !

Le lac de Vouglans c'est un peu la station balnéaire du Jura, c'est un lac de barrage situé dans le massif du Jura en Bourgogne-Franche-Comté.
Il a été créé et mis en eau en 1968.
Il fait 35 km de long et c'est le 3ème lac artificiel de France.

We went to France in the summer of 2018. However we could upload the videos until June 2020. But the content is still fresh and relevant. In the times of Covid, we we have found a reason to smile reminiscing old memories. We are sure you will also like it.
In this video, we travel from Paris to Lons-Le- Saunier. It was the first time Kaushal travelled on a high speed train. Everybody loved the TGV experience. We are still waiting for the bullet train in India as of 2020.

[4KHDR] Driving in France: Autoroute A39 from Lons-le-Saunier to Dijon
In this video you can drive along on the Autoroute A39 from Lons-le-Saunier to the A31 at Dijon in Eastern France. The A39 was built in parallel to the original Route du Soleil (A6) as an alternative to get from the (South)East to the Northeast of France.
It's not the most exciting motorway to drive on from a scenery perspective. There are relatively few exits over a long distance, I believe around 10 exits for a distance of 150 kilometers. But it surely is a nice alternative to the otherwise busy A6 coming from Lyon. Especially when coming from the Alps and the direction of the A40, it's usually faster to take the A39 when travelling towards the Benelux.
I've never really been in the city of Dijon, but it's on my list for next time. I've only driven past this area and on this particular autoroute at least 10 times. I will feature the rest of the A39 in a future video.
