Longwy initially belonged to Lotharingia. After the division of that kingdom, the town became part of Upper Lorraine and ultimately the Duchy of Bar. Longwy was ceded to Wenceslaus I of Luxembourg in 1368, but was returned to Bar in 1378. The Duchy of Bar was then annexed into the Duchy of Lorraine in 1480.

From 1648 to 1660 Longwy was part of the Kingdom of France, returning to the Duchy of Lorraine afterwards. It was made part of France again in 1670, a situation which was finalized in the Treaties of Nijmegen in 1678. Dans cette vidéo, nous changeons des locomotives habituelles sur cette chaine avec une voyage en cabine à bord d'un diesel type BB75000. Nous remorquons aujourd'hui un train de sucre en provenance de Châlons-en-Champagne jusqu'à Metz, avant qu'il ne reparte en direction de l'Italie via Bâle.
Vous pourrez voir un trafic intense en cette fin de soirée avec de nombreux trains de marchandises.

Cabride de Valenciennes à Hazebrouck en BB 27000, suite de l'artère Nord-Est !
Nous poursuivons notre voyage en cabine vers le nord avec la suite du parcours entre Valenciennes et Hazebrouck, toujours en tête d'une autoroute ferroviaire VIIA reliant Perpignan (Le Boulou) à Calais-Fréthun.
Pour relier ces deux villes, les itinéraires sont nombreux et parfois exotiques comme celui que vous pourrez découvrir ici. Nous passerons par le contournement sud de Lille, pour rejoindre Don-Sainghin, Lens, Bethune et Hazebrouck. Ce n'est pas le plus rapide mais il permets d'éviter les différentes zones de travaux, nombreuses ce jour-ci.

We continue our cabride towards the north with the rest of the route between Valenciennes and Hazebrouck, with a VIIA rail motorway linking Perpignan (Le Boulou) to Calais-Fréthun.
To connect these two cities, the routes are numerous and sometimes exotic like the one you can discover here. We will go through the southern bypass of Lille, to reach Don-Sainghin, Lens, Bethune and Hazebrouck. It's not the fastest but it allows you to avoid the different work zones, which are numerous this day.
You will find the end of this journey in Hazebrouck and Calais-Fréthun in a future video!

Cabride de Valenton à Amiens à 120km/h en BB27000
Embarquez aujourd'hui à bord du train de marchandises n°50924 reliant Perpignan à Dourges pour un trajet à 120km/h entre Valenton, le triage fret au sud de Paris, à Longueau (triage d'Amiens). Il s'agit d'un train de containers pour le compte du client Novatrans.
Il est 6h, le jour se lève et nous partons de Valenton en direction du Nord sur la Grande Ceinture pour rejoindre Bobigny puis le réseau de Paris-Nord au niveau de Stains. Le trajet s'effectue ensuite sans encombres jusqu'à Longueau. La suite de la vidéo jusqu'à Dourges arrivera bientôt !
Embark today on board freight train n°50924 linking Perpignan to Dourges for a journey at 120km/h between Valenton, the freight yard south of Paris, and Longueau (Amiens yard). This is a container train on behalf of the client Novatrans.
It is 6 a.m., day is breaking and we are leaving Valenton heading north on the Grande Ceinture to reach Bobigny then the Paris-Nord network at Stains. The trip then goes smoothly to Longueau. The rest of the video up to Dourges will be coming soon !

*4K* Voyage en cabine de CFL 3000 vers Bettembourg, la frontière FR-LU en ETCS
Cabride international aujourd'hui, avec ce court voyage de 37 km entre le triage de Woippy (FR) et celui de Bettembourg (LU).
Notre train d'autoroute ferroviaire en provenance du Boulou (66) approche avec une BB 27000. Nous allons prendre le relais avec une Unité Multiple (UM) de deux locomotives CFL3000 équipées ETCS afin de rejoindre le triage Luxembourgeois où la rame sera déchargée dans le terminal multimodal.
Le départ se fait depuis le faisceau relais de Woippy. Nous circulons ensuite via la voie 2Bis alors qu'un TER pour le Luxembourg nous suit de près sur la voie 2 en desservant toutes les gares du parcours. Il nous dépasse définitivement avant Thionville (à proximité de la transition vers le domaine ETCS) ce qui nous retardera légèrement.
La voie se libère enfin et l'UM de CFL3000 donne alors toute sa puissance pour gravir la longue rampe de 15km qui se termine à l'entrée de Bettembourg.
Les locomotives sont coupées de la rame, puis nous évoluons à proximité du terminal pour revenir sur une voie libre du faisceau réception avant de repartir HLP vers Woippy (dans une prochaine vidéo)

Cabride international today, with this short trip of 37 km between Woippy (FR) and Bettembourg (LU)
Our rail motorway train from Le Boulou (66) is approaching with a BB 27000. We are going to take over with a Multiple Unit (UM) of two CFL3000 locomotives equipped with ETCS in order to reach the Luxembourg yard where the train will be unloaded in the multimodal terminal.
The departure is from the the freight rail yard of Woippy. We then travel via track 2Bis while a TER for Luxembourg follows us closely on track 2, serving all the stations on the route. It definitely overtakes us before Thionville (near the transition to the ETCS domain) which will delay us slightly.
The way is finally free and the UM of CFL3000 then gives all its power to climb the long 15km ramp which ends at the entrance to Bettembourg.
The locomotives are cut off from the train, then we move near the terminal to return to a track free of the reception beam before leaving HLP towards Woippy (in a future video)

Bonjour à tous ! Pour ce cabride, nous faisons cap à l'ouest avec un train de céréale vide en provenance du port de Rouen et à destination d'Illiers-Combray afin d'être chargé de blé. Nous sommes dans une locomotive du type BB 75000 (qui doit ensuite assurer la livraison sur la ligne non électrifiée au départ de Chartres).
Notre trajet a commencé au triage de Bobigny (93) mais la luminosité ne permettait pas de filmer en amont de Versailles-Chantiers.
Vous pourrez observer un fort trafic de trains de voyageurs en sens inverse, aux tous débuts de l'heure de pointe.

Fort Fermont - Maginotfort. In einer Führung kann der Munitionseingang, die Fahrstühle, das Magazin M1 mit einer Ausstellung und die Kaserne mit ihren Versorgungseinrichtungen besichtigt werden. Mit dem ehemaligen Transport-Eisenbahn, fährt man zu den Kampfblöcken, in denen es nach Oben zu den Scharten sowie ins Freigelände geht.
Es lohnt sich diese Anlage zu besichtigen. Da die meisten Bunkeranlagen der Maginotlinie von Förderkreisen gestützt werden, sollte man sich im Internet über die Öffnungszeiten genau informieren sonst steht man vor verschlossener Tür.

Nach einer Filmvorführung geht es durch den ehemaligen Munitionseingang ins das Innere. Es wird anhand von Ausstellungsobjekten und Filmeinschnitten alles zur Befestigung und deren Geschichte erklärt. Anschließend sollte man die Führung unbedingt mitmachen um die Kaserne mit Sanitätsabteilung, Operationsraum, Großküche, Bereitschafts- und Ruherräume, Duschen und Toiletten, sowie Kraftwerk- und Heizungsanlage mit Werkstätten zu sehen.

15. März bis 15. November, 10:00 bis 17:00 Uhr (Juli und August bis 18.00 Uhr), Ruhetag Montag (außer feiertags und Juli bis August).
