War related sight seeing in northern France. The Canadian WWI tunnels, grounds, and memoial in Vimy, La Coupole German WWII rocket building/launching facility near St. Omer, a fully restored windmill near Watten, a WWII German blockhouse near Cassel, and Lille (a picture taken to match the same view in a black and white picture seen at La Coupole.

Parce que tourisme ne signifie pas forcément cocotiers et paréos,
Parce que le Pays de Saint-Omer regorge de trésors à découvrir en toutes saisons,
Parce que la période hivernale plonge les paysages dans une autre ambiance,
L’Office de Tourisme et des Congrès du Pays de Saint-Omer propose pour la première fois un concept novateur et audacieux : une saison d’hiver.
Le principe est simple : des visites merveilleuses seront organisées tous les vendredis et tous les samedis en fin de journée, du 10 novembre 2017 au 04 mars 2018.
Au total, 35 dates et des événements variés, tous plus merveilleux et surprenants les uns que les autres.
La saison hivernale en 5 points :
1️⃣ comme une réservation centralisée auprès d'un Office de Tourisme et des Congrès du Pays de Saint-Omer par mail, par téléphone, en direct ou sur la page Facebook.
2️⃣ comme le nombre de saisons de ces visites merveilleuses qui vont du 10 novembre 2017 au 06 janvier 2018 et du 7 janvier 2018 au 4 mars 2018.
3️⃣ comme le nombre de Pôles d’Information Touristique qui se mobilisent pour vous renseigner et prendre vos réservations à Aire sur la Lys, Thérouanne et Fauquembergues.
4️⃣ comme les 4 mois de cette saison hivernale.
5️⃣ comme le tarif unique à 5€.
C'est également de la gratuité sur quelques manifestations, des moments uniques qui ont été conçus sur mesure et spécialement pour vous faire vivre des moments #SimplementMerveilleux entre amis ou en famille.
