5 Best Places To Live In Massachusetts

Massachusetts is one of the iconic places in the United States. According to some, Massachusetts is the birthplace of the country. At the same time, it is where the first European settlement was established--back in 1620. That particular event is quite significant, as New England today still represents the progressive direction that America is taking.

Close to the dawn of the 21st century, Massachusett had experienced dramatic improvement. It transformed into an art and technology beacon, which is now known as The Massachusetts Miracle. Of course, this renaissance has kickstarted various urban reinventions throughout the globe. These days, the Greater Boston area is an IT powerhouse, which has already overshadowed different European countries' IT industries.

Furthermore, Massachusetts has elevated itself to become a to-go place for those who want to receive a world-class education. Back in 2017, Massachusetts was ranked as the most educated state in the United States by WalletHub. That speaks volume to the finesse that this state offers!

If you are planning to move to the Commonwealth State, then this video is for you. Today, I am going to list down all the best places to live in Massachusetts. Watch this video until the end, and don't forget to hit like and subscribe.

It is the economic center of Western Massachusetts with the largest concentration of retail, manufacturing, entertainment, banking, legal, and medical groups. Its cost of living, highly-skilled workforce and affordable real estate are just some of the reasons businesses like German-based Menck Windows choose to make us their U.S. headquarters. Take a thrill ride on one of the ten roller coasters at Six Flags New England. Or take a stroll down Mulberry Street, made famous in Dr. Seuss’ first children’s book. Try your hand at a slam dunk the Basketball Hall of Fame, an 80,000 square foot shrine to the world’s second most popular sport. Take in some live music at one of the many clubs, pubs and watering holes. Catch an Off-Broadway show at City Stage or Symphony Hall. Or sit back and relax to the smooth sounds of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra, the largest symphony outside of Boston. Enjoy the Painted Lady mansions listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Visit Old First Church, a key stop on the African American Freedom Trail. Spend a day at Lupa Zoo and have a picnic in Forest Park, one of the largest urban parks in the country. Or walk, bike, hike or paddle our more than 2400 acres of parkland, tennis courts, walking trails, playgrounds and picnic areas. Or just spend the day shopping at the Eastfield Mall, a 824,000 square foot shopping center, and head to the suburban eclectic boutiques featuring local and international designers, artisan shops and galleries. And when September and October roll around, there’s no better place to be than the Big E, the sixth largest agricultural fair in America. We’ve got a lot to offer, so come see us soon -- and stay for a day or stay for forever.

Brooklyn City Travel ◆ Top 10 Cities
Just south of Manhattan, on Long Island, Brooklyn is the most populous of New York City's five boroughs.

Brooklyn Heights is one of the richer neighborhoods in the borough, characterized by brownstone buildings and a thriving shopping district. The centerpiece of Brooklyn Heights is Brooklyn Bridge Park. This has spectacular views of downtown New York City.

At almost 1830 meters long, Brooklyn Bridge is one of the most recognizable landmarks in New York City. It spans the East River, connecting Brooklyn to Manhattan, and is crossed by some 4000 pedestrians every day.

Popular pastimes in Brooklyn's Prospect Park include relaxing on the green expanses of Long Meadow, cycling, jogging, and spotting wildlife on Prospect Lake.

Coney Island was once the largest amusement area in the United States. Many vintage attractions remain today, including Nathan's Famous hot dogs and the Cyclone roller coaster.

Number 8 WALK THE BROOKLYN BRIDGE
Walk the Brooklyn Bridge
The Brooklyn Bridge helps millions of people get from lower Manhattan to Brooklyn, but it is also one of the most famous buildings in the city. You can walk or ride a bike across it, but be careful because there are a lot of people. To avoid the crowds, go early in the morning or late at night.

Number 7 GO HAM AT SMORGASBURG
Go ham at Smorgasburg
About the Smorgasburg! New Yorkers love to eat outside, whether it's at one of the city's best waterfront restaurants, a high-up rooftop bar, or an open-air food flea market like Brooklyn's famous food market. Locals and tourists alike love Smorg because it has almost 100 vendors selling snacks that are both delicious and cheap.

Number 6 HUM FOR TREASURES AT BROOKLYN FLEA
Hunt for treasures at Brooklyn Flea
In New York, you have to go to an outdoor bazaar, and Brooklyn Flea is without a doubt one of the best places to go. The market has everything, including a huge selection of old clothes and records that you wouldn't find in any city vintage clothing or record store. There are two locations: Dumbo and Williamsburg, where there is a good selection of food nearby. The same people who made it also run one of the best food festivals in the city.

Number 5 WALK, SHOP AND EAT AT INDUSTRY CITY
Walk, shop and eat at Industry City
In the old Bush Terminal, which is now part of this waterfront complex, there are artist studios and workshops, as well as shops and restaurants like Sahadi's, Li-lac Chocolates, Powerhouse, St. Mark's Comics, and Japan Village. It also has concerts, art shows, parties, and fun things to do during the different seasons, like ice skating, roller skating, Oktoberfest events, and more.

Number 4 EAT LIKE A NEW YORKER AT TIME OUT MARKET NEW YORK
Eat like a New Yorker at Time Out Market New York
We love going out to eat in the city, and we think you do, too. At the Time Out Market New York, all of our favourite restaurants are under one roof, which is great for all of us. The DUMBO location in Empire Stores has pancakes from the famous Clinton Street Baking Co., pizza from Fornino, seasonal ice cream flavours from Sugar Hill Creamery, fried chicken from Jacob's Pickles, and more amazing restaurants that we chose.

Number 3 HAVE A PICNIC IN PROSPECT PARK
Have a picnic in Prospect Park
Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux, who are best known for making Central Park, also made the 526-acre Prospect Park, which is more rural. Long Meadow and Nethermead have lots of grassy areas where you can have a picnic and watch people, and the Ravine is a huge forest in the middle of busy Brooklyn.

Number 2 PEEP THE PETALS AT BROOKLYN BOTANIC GARDEN
Peep the petals at Brooklyn Botanic Garden
People who want some peace and quiet should spend a few hours at this green oasis. The garden was started in 1910 and is spread out over 52 acres. It is near the Brooklyn Museum and Prospect Park, which are also great places to visit in the area. The Sakura Matsuri Festival is held there every spring, when more than 70 trees along the Cherry Esplanade bloom.

Number 1 HAVE A DAY OF WHIMSY AT CONEY ISLAND
Have a day of whimsy at Coney Island
Coney Island, NY was the city's playground from the turn of the 20th century until the Second World War. After that, the area was left alone for years, but when Luna Park opened, it brought life back to the area. Today, hundreds of thousands of people go to a beach that has become one of the best in New York and has a lot of great summer activities. There's something for everyone, from movie nights to concerts to the wild Mermaid Parade.
