Only 1 Hour DAY TRIP from SYDNEY ???????? l Things to do & eat in CENTRAL COAST Australia

Sydney is one of the most beautiful city in Australia. But, sometimes you need a break to escape city life and hop on a car for a weekend getaway from Sydney. Consider Central Coast, stunning coast views with beautiful sunset.
► SUBSCRIBE to our channel:
► BTS & exclusive contents:

Do you know you can do a day trip out to Central Coast, little over 1 hour drive north from Sydney?
First we stopped by to Woy Woy Fishermen’s Wharf to have a Fresh seafood feast with stunning views. Fish and chips is a must try in this beautiful deck restaurant sitting on top of the bay waters.

** Woy Woy Fishermen’s Wharf
Address: The Boulevarde, Woy Woy NSW 2256
Restaurant open Fri-Sun 12PM-3PM
Takeaway Sun-Thurs 11AM-4PM and Fri-Sat 11AM-7PM

Then we were off, driving about 25 minutes north to Terrigal, a coastal town in Central Coast. We walked around Terrigal Beach and stayed overnight at The Clan Terrigal Hotel. Terrigal Beach is great for families and beach goers especially in summer.

** The Clan Terrigal
Address: 1 Ocean View Dr, Terrigal NSW 2260

Another 20 mins drive, we arrived at The Entrance. This is the most popular destination in Central Coast. Things to do in The Entrance include walking from one end to the other during low tide, pelican feeding and picnic in the park.

Finally, we went for one of the most INCREDIBLE sunset views in Australia we’ve seen so far - Long Jetty. This is definitely a must visit place outside Sydney especially if you're wanting to see a picturesque coastal views without too much effort or those lengthy long travel.

Discovering the Hidden Gems of Central Coast NSW 2023 | Things To Do, Places To Visit ????????‍♂️

What’s in the central coast? Why people love to spend the weekend in Central Coast? In this video, I am going to take you there to discover the hidden gems of Central Coast NSW, and to check out a beach house with ocean views, crown plaza hotel in Terrigal, beautiful beaches, where to find some delicious foods, and where is this beautiful historical look out. Let’s get started.

There are lot of people moving up to Central Coast due to Sydney housing market is out of reach. And the houses here are relatively cheaper than Sydney, and some have ocean views. We went pass a house up for sale at Umina Beach, asking for $1.5m. It’s on top of the hill, so it has this immense ocean views. It’s a beautiful 3 bed room house with a swimming pool.

We stayed at the Crown Plaza hotel at Terrigal. Terrigal is a major coastal town of Central Coast. Terrigal is a very popular tourist destination with its long stretchy beach, urban and modern living environment. The crown plaza hotel is sitting right in front of the beach, and it certainly becomes my favourite hotel in central coast region.

The hotel feels nice, but it’s a bit dated and looking a bit old. The room rate is $300 per night on week days, and it can go up to $600 per night during the weekend.

Breakfast time is the best experience of our stay, the restaurant is facing east and the pacific ocean, so in the morning the restaurant is filled with morning sunshine, bright and lively.
Breakfast is included in our stay. Otherwise it will cost you $42 per person. The selections are good, lot of varieties, and they taste good.

We had a lunch at Beach House, a modern restaurant located right underneath the Crown Plaza, and right in front of the beach, so it has this beautiful ocean views, plus its delicious menu, combined with vibrant atmosphere, and a live band, we had a good time.

Copacabana beach is only 15 mins drive down south from Terrigal, this area is a bit more quiet and more family friendly. Most of the hoses have ocean views, so you can imagine the price here for a house – it’s easily over $2m. There are only 3000 people living in Copacabana beach, and mostly are local Australians.

5 mins drive, on top of the hill of Copacabana beach, it’s the very famous Winney look out and Captain Cook look out. The views are breathtaking and it’s just unbelievable. A must visit.

If you haven’t been to Avoca Beach, you haven’t been to Central Coast. There are 5000 people living here, and it’s a great place for the surfers, and they also hold annual surfing competition here.

We went to this beautiful restaurant in front of the Avoca beach. The restaurant looks very nice, but the waitress seems like she doesn’t want to be here. Not much services.

There is one regret for this trip – is that we didn’t have enough time to go for a walk in Bouddi Coastal Walk. It’s 8 and half kms long, I can imagine the spectacular ocean view along the walk way.

So there you go, whether you are a sun lover, beach lover, foodie lover, or adventure seeker, there are something for you in central coast. So go out, and enjoy a weekend like we did.

Music is one important part of my vlog. I found this artist 'Hotham' is very talented, and he has made so many beautiful music pieces. So search Hotham in Youtube, subscribe to his channel, and enjoy.

Central Coast Day Trip Guide from Sydney l ALPACAS Farm, PINK CAVES & Trying FILIPINO Breakfast

Our first Central Coast video:

Trip to Central Coast will only take about 1-1.5 hours drive north of Sydney. There is some public transportation options like train, however, we recommend to drive around places to visit in Central Coast.

First thing first is a place to eat in Central Coast. This time, we decided to go to Mount White to have lunch at Saddles. Set on 28 acres of sprawling bushland in the heart of Mount White, Saddles was really beautiful place to have long lunch. It is worth one hour trip out from Sydney just to have long lunch at Saddles.

We head down to The Pink Caves at Catherine Hill Bay. This little-known sea cave on the Central Coast is a natural wonder that's pretty in pink vibrant color with turquoise water. Some people call it Cotton Candy Cave due to its bright pink color. How to go to Pink Caves? Simply go to the northern end of Moonee Beach via the rock platforms on the coast.

Another things to do in Central Coast is visiting Iris Lodge Alpacas to meet their adorable 68 or more alpacas. You can do breakfast with alpacas too. We only did meet, greet and feed the alpacas for $25pp. Trust us, it is so worth it and really great activities for families, adults and kids. Sean and Sharon who run this family farm business are lovely couple so highly recommend this activity.

We tried typical Filipino breakfast for first time at Little Pinoy Kitchen, the first Filipino restaurant / cafe in Central Coast that recently opened. We tried the tocino (sweet cured pork), longganisa (Filipino pork sausage), bansilog or fried milk fish with Sinangag (Filipino fried garlic rice). This was our first time trying Filipino breakfast and we love it!

Of course we also need to try Aussie pies at Ken's Humble Pie Shop, we will back to try more food around Central Coast. Hope you enjoy this food and travel vlog!

[Sydney] A Day Trip to Long Jetty, NSW

|| Blog ||

Long Jetty has become very popular on social media these days. It is within walking distance of neighboring town The Entrance. Long Jetty is appropriately named as it features 3 extremely long jetties spanning out over the shallow waters of Tuggerah Lake. You will only understand why it is called Long Jetty after you have been there LOL~
