We drove 70 miles in the middle of the flats and had a gourmet picnic, and then hiked on an island that has formed on top of the flats. We ended the day with a gorgeous sunset and settled in our salt hotel for the night!

A Walking Tour of Copacabana - Bolivia’s Must-See City
Cocoa leave fueled cab drivers, death-wish microbus drivers, and Bolivia's most dangerous roads. Those are only a few obstacles that stood between me and the jewel of Lake Titicaca, the city of Copacabana.
Okay, maybe it's not the jewel, but it is the gateway city on the Bolivian side of Lago Titicaca.
Covered in this walking tour are all the need-to-know sites and attractions of Copacabana. I'll take you through the main areas of interest within the city. We'll visit the outdoor market, the Cathedral, Copacabana Beach and Cerro Calvario.

En un viaje que hicieron don Simón y su esposa acompañados de sus hijos a Cochabamba, llegaron a conocer el municipio de Vinto. Doña Albina quedo tan encantada con este lugar que don Simón prometió construirle una casa en honor al amor y al respeto que le tenía.
Años más tarde don Simón compra un terreno en este lugar y, a principios del siglo XX, se inicia la construcción de la Hacienda Pairumani y de Villa Albina.
Hoy en día considero que este lugar si debe ser considerado un patrimonio de la ciudad de Cochabamba por su valor histórico y por la importancia e influencia que tuvo don Simón y toda su familia en todo el país.
Si quieren visitar este lugar, que les aconsejo hacerlo, los horarios de atención son de:
• Martes a viernes: 09:00 a 14:00
• Sábado: 09:00 a 11:30
• Domingo lunes y feriados no hay atención
Pueden llegar en vehículo propio o en transporte público que parte de la plaza Bolívar en Quillacollo el minibús 211 de bandera roja.
