Exploring North Cebu - Bantayan Island and San Remigio
Part 1: Bantayan Island
Today, we toured Bantayan Island via tricycle. First, you have to know the island is composed of three municipalities --- Santa Fe, Madridejos and Bantayan Proper. The island tours mainly goes to spots in Santa Fe. Below is a sample itinerary:
7:45 AM - Call time
8:00 AM - Ogtong Cave
10:00 AM - Omagieca/Oboob Mangrove Eco Park
11:30 AM - Paradise Beach
12:30 PM - The Ruins
1:00 PM - Lunch
2:00 PM - 5:00 PM - Visit Kota Beach, Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Bantayan Proper or the Lagoon
6:00 PM - Sunset at Kota Park
8:00 PM - Dinner
9:00 PM - EOD
As for us, we chose Mangrove Eco Park and The Ruins, we were only charged P400 for the 4 of us by Kuya but please always give tips!
Part 2: San Remigio
San Rem, known for the longest coast line in Cebu, is home to many beautiful white sand beaches - mostly unspoiled and underrated as less to no tourists go here. We visited Elegant Beach and attended a Ben&Ben concert as part of their Fiesta. Happy Fiesta San Rem!

Carnaza island
The 173.5-hectare (429-acre) turtle-shaped island is located north of Malapascua Island which itself is north of mainland Cebu. Carnaza is then the northernmost offshore island and barangay of the municipality of Daanbantayan. The island is bordered on all sides by the Visayan Sea.
The island's topography includes coastal plains, mangrove swamps, lagoons and semi-rounded hills. Its coastal plain constitutes about 9.7% while semi-rounded hills constitute the biggest portion of the island covering about 14.4% of the total area. The mangrove forest has an area of about 10.1 hectares or 5.8% of the island. The highest point was measured at 55 metres (180 feet) above sea level.Within the small island are the sitios of Candionesio, Carnaza, Daanbaryo, Linao, Liog‑liog and Pantao.

Previously, I published a video showcasing the beachline and coastline of Santa Fe, Bantayan Island. It was purely my experiences at the beach. From one end to another end, which means I covered the poblacion area beachline and the other side which is the barangay Okoy side.
In today's video, I explored the entire town of Santa Fe. Not just beaches mga Igsoon. I went to different places like The Ruins, Bantayan Airport, Santa Fe Municipal Hall, Balidbid area, and even immersed myself in the town's busy district at the Public Market area where you can find most restaurants and bars of the town.
Watch this video to see my escapades. I did this using a scooter I rented and it was a real unforgettable Santa Fe Tour.

This sleeping beauty was off-limits from the outsiders for a long time. It was only recently that it opened its door to visitors. It was my first time here, and it exceeded my expectation. Unlike any other islands surrounding Bantayan Island, this one is private and uninhabited except for its caretakers. It's guarded and secured so you can be carefree roaming around the island. It's a place to just relax and forget about the hustles. No electricity, and no motorized vehicles, it's just the birds, the wind, and the trees and the waves making the noise.
