Road trip to LIMAY, The Wealthiest Municipality in Bataan, Philippines | 4K
Bataan Road Trip No. 8: LIMAY
Limay is now a first class municipality in terms of its income, accredited mostly to big establishments existing in the municipality, consequently , they also have a high employment rate. Mostly engineers, skilled and unskilled laborers, technical men from the province and other towns and cities.
Limay is located in the southeastern part of Bataan, approximately 15 kilometers from the provincial capital.
It can be reached via Orion Port which is only a 45-minute ferry ride from Manila, plus a 5 to 10 minute ride from Orion to Limay.
The total land area is 10,360 hectares. As of 2020 the total Population is 78,272.

In this vlog A DAY IN BATAAN PHILIPPINES ???????? we take you all with us on a perfect Manila day trip/roadtrip ????. And while we did pack a-lot in our one day there we still walked away knowing this province is one we HAVE to come back too and very soon!!! ???? There’s just so much to see and do!
Bataan wasn’t exactly our destination spot, in fact we had our sights set on another province (which you will all see in our next vlog!!) but we’re so glad we took the pitstop and check out this charming province.
Located only 2 and 1/2 hours northwest of Manila, this quaint province on the Philippine island of Luzon is home too many tourist attractions. Such as shipwrecks, coral reefs, and the location to a massive marine turtle hatch at the Pawikan Conservation Center. However, due to our time constraints we didn’t really have the time to explore them all THIS TIME! However we did make our way to the Mount Samat Shrine of Valor which commemorates WWII’s Battle of Bataan and all those who fought, Dunsulan Park, and found ourselves having a blast eating at a local hotspot: JM Valley (who also happen to be some of the kindest people EVER ????????).
So sit back, relax, and carpool karaoke with us all the way to Bataan Philippines ????❤️. You’re sure to find yourself bopping along haha!!

The City of Balanga, is a 4th class component city and capital of the province of Bataan, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 104,173 people.
Balanga City is the prime commercial hub in the province. Business enterprises are mainly wholesale and retail, servicing, construction, insurance, financing and manufacturing. Retail and trading comprise the largest number of business establishments in this city. Several shopping centers are located in the city, notably SM City Bataan, Vista Mall Bataan, Waltermart Balanga, Capitol Square, Galeria Victoria, Center Plaza Mall, Recar Commercial Complex and Ocampo's Megastore. While Robinsons Place Balanga City's construction is expected to start this 2022.

Shortcut to Bataan! | Esplanade Seaside Terminal Walking Tour | Philippines | 2021
What's up, S&S fam!
Today, we take a quick walking tour of one of the attractions that families can visit in Pasay City, the Esplanade Seaside Terminal. Located near SM Mall of Asia along Seaside Boulevard, Esplanade Seaside Terminal provides the public with an alternative cruise and tour terminal to the CCP Harbour Square. It offers trips and tours to Bataan via Camaya Coast ferry and Corregidor Island via Prestige Cruises ferry. Travel time to from Manila to Bataan via ferry is less than 2 hours only! It is significantly faster than going to Bataan by land, which is 3 to 4-hour long drive from Manila. Talk about shortcut, yeah? Dining cruises in Manila Bay and guided bike tours in Corregidor Island are also available. Is ferry ride the best way going to Bataan or do you still prefer long drives? Let me know your thoughts.

Limay is a municipality located in the province of Bataan in the Philippines. It is situated on the western coast of Luzon Island and is bordered by the municipalities of Orion to the north, Pilar to the east, and Mariveles to the south. The municipality has a total land area of 103.60 square kilometers and is divided into 18 barangays.
Limay is known for its industrial zone, which houses several power plants and oil refineries. The municipality is also home to several historical sites, including the Limay Church and the WWII Memorial Shrine.
Limay is accessible by land transportation from Manila via the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX). Buses and jeepneys also operate within the municipality and in nearby towns.

limay bataan. a good half of my childhood was spent here in this little town in bataan. like every town now, back then it wasn't as busy and crowded. I got lost like I always do but always find my way to where I needed to go. we walked mostly then being in our pre teens in different neighborhoods and all around the town. town fiestas are the ones I've missed and its a whole different experience, everyone is welcome and everyone is celebrating food drinks from kids to adult happenings. I believe this event last for a whole week. the town gets decorated by whatever the motif of the town is, different town different provinces have their own unique way of doing their fiestas but one thing in common everyone is feeding everybody and everyone is welcome. like you eat and go to another house and eat some more and go to your relatives or even close friends to eat. I met my cousin and reminded me the time when we went to the other neighborhood where there were kids that just had bought their pellet guns. there was about 5 or 6 of them or more and I remember having both of my older brothers pellet guns and those little kids wanted to play with us. battle of the pellet guns I remember loading both magazines and putting a mouthful of pellets in my mouth so it would be easier to reload. somehow they started shooting at us and off we went. they ran as we laugh just shooting as fast as we could towards them reloading our mags with spit and cocking our pellet guns fast and shooting towards them. nobody got hurt. it was just an experience where the youngins battled the young ones from the other neighborhood.
