One of the best beaches in Attica. clear water, rarely a wave, sand inside and outside. Great beach!! Velvet sand inside and outside the water and crystal clear water! A breath away from Athens, you feel like you are on an island. Loved all year round, almost always without wind and with a wonderful dawn. It's worth it, even if you rest for 2-3 days. Great food relatively close (Vasilis Tavern for unique country house, calamari, fish, etc., Dimitris for skewers) in the small port that leads to the Caves of Love.

Ανατολή του Δεκέμβρη στο Πόρτο Ράφτη - Lever de soleil hivernal à Porto Rafti
Οι βόλτες της καραντίνας! Ξημερώνει μία από τις μικρότερες ημέρες του έτους, η 6η Δεκεμβρίου και η εποχή αυτή, όπως και όλοι οι κρύοι μήνες του έτους είναι η ιδανική για να δει κανείς την ανατολή στο Πόρτο Ράφτη από την πλευρά του Αγίου Σπυρίδωνα και της Ερωτοσπηλιάς. Την εποχή αυτή ο ουρανός έχει ιδιαίτερο ενδιαφέρον, κακοκαιρίες που περνούν και φεύγουν, σύννεφα γεμάτα υγρασία από τους υδρατμούς του Αιγαίου, ημέρες με αέρα και άλλες που ο κόλπος μοιάζει με λίμνη, μέρες που σχηματίζεται ένα λεπτό πέπλο ομίχλης πάνω από τη θάλασσα που φαίνεται να αχνίζει... Η 6η Δεκεμβρίου ήταν μία μέρα καλοκαιρίας, ανάμεσα σε δύο κακοκαιρίες, με έναν ουρανό γεμάτο σύννεφα που χάρισαν χρώμα στην ανατολή και μία θάλασσα λάδι. Με θερμοκρασία γύρω στους 12 βαθμούς, περπατήσαμε από την πλευρά του Γρέγου και μέχρι τον Άγιο Σπυρίδωνα και την Ερωτοσπηλιά, στέλνοντας το περίφημο μηνυματάκι 6! Μία απολαυστική βόλτα για το ξεκίνημα της Κυριακής που ήταν για εμάς ημέρα εργασίας.

Εορτάζει στις 17 Ιουλίου.
Η εκκλησία της Αγίας Μαρίνας βρίσκεται στη Νότια πλευρά του κόλπου του Πόρτο Ράφτη, επί της λεωφόρου Αυλακίου, και ίσως να είναι η γνωστότερη εκκλησία της περιοχής.
Θεμελιώθηκε στις 3 Ιουνίου 1950 και εγκαινιάστηκε στις 24 Ιουνίου του 1951 από τον Σεβασμιότατο Μητροπολίτη Αττικής και Μεγαρίδος Ιάκωβο.
Η Αγία Μαρίνα είναι σχέδιο του Αρχιτέκτονα Βασιλείου Νικολαΐδη.
Κοντά στον νέο ναό σώζονται τα θεμέλια της μονόκλιτης παλιάς εκκλησίας η οποία καταστράφηκε από ληστείες και πειρατές ή από τα άγρια κύματα που κατέσκαψαν τα θεμέλιά της.

The church of Agia Marina is located on the south side of the bay of Porto Rafti on Aulakiou Avenue and may be the most famous church in the area.
It was founded on 3 June 1950 and was inaugurated on June 24, 1951 by the Metropolitan of Attica and Megaridos Iakovos.
Agia Marina is designed by architect Vassiliou Nikolaidis.
Near the new temple, the foundations of the one-aisled old church, which was destroyed by robbers and pirates, or by the wild waves that buried its foundations, are preserved.
