Hello, todday's tour is in Wernigerode, a stunning medieval town in the Harz region in Germany. The town situated on the Holtemme river, on the northern slopes of the Harz Mountains. It is close to the Brocken mountain (1141 m), the highest peak in the Harz Mountains. We will walk through streets full of charming medieval timber-framed houses and we will see the town hall (Rathaus), which was built in 1420, and it is one of the most significant pieces of architecture in Wernigerode. We will walk through the old town, passing the narrow streets and wonderful buildings and colorful houses. Then we will walk up to the Wernigerode Castle on the top of the town with great view of Wernigerode and the surrounding Harz mountains. During this tour, you will discover the beauty of this harz town and you may add it to your list to visit one day.

Wernigerode Sehenswürdigkeiten: Schloss, Altstadt, Kleinstes Haus & mehr Aktivitäten
Wernigerode ist wohl eine der bekanntesten Städte im Harz und allein das Rathaus war für mich einer der Hauptgründe für einen Besuch der Stadt im Oberharz. Nachdem ich euch auf meinem Harz Roadtrip bereits Goslar und den Brocken vorgestellt habe, stelle ich euch heute meine persönlichen 5 Wernigerode Must See Sehenswürdigkeiten vor und erkläre euch damit, was ihr in Wernigeorde unternehmen könnt.
Diese Wernigerode Attraktionen stelle ich euch in diesem YouTube Video vor: die Altstadt/das Zentrum, das Rathaus mit Brunnenn auf dem Marktplatz, das schiefste und auch das kleinste Haus in Wernigerode und als letztes auch noch das Wernigerode Schloss, das hoch über der Stadt thront.
Ich laufe durch die Wernigeroder Innenstadt, die zum UNESCO Weltkulturerbe gehört, und schaue mir dabei wunderschöne alte Fachwerkhäuser an, verliebte mich in die Architektur, schaue mir Wernigerode von oben an und tauche zudem etwas in die Wernigeroder Geschichte ein. Habt ihr Lust mitzukommen?

Goslar stand nie weit oben auf meiner Liste an Städten in Deutschland, die ich unbedingt mal gesehen haben muss. Umso mehr war ich überaus positiv überrascht als ich mir im Juni 2020 auf einem Harz Roadtrip die besten Goslar Sehenswürdigkeiten angeschaut habe.
Genau diese Goslar Highlights stelle ich euch in diesem Goslar Vlog vor: die Altstadt/das Zentrum, die Kaiserpfalz, die Marktkirche und das rote Gildehaus auf dem Marktplatz.

Goslar - Warum Du die alte Kaiserstadt sehen solltest | Harz
In der Stadt Goslar am Harz residierten im Mittelalter die deutschen Könige und Kaiser. In der romantischen Altstadt der Kaiserstadt stehen fast 1500 Fachwerkhäuser. Hier gibt es hübsche Plätze, schöne Gassen und ein prächtiges Rathaus. Am Rand der Altstadt erheben sich auf einem Areal mit mehreren Gebäuden die Mauern der Kaiserpfalz. Das Kaiserhaus ist der größte Profanbau seiner Zeit. Die eindrucksvolle Kaiserpfalz ist ein kultureller Schatz. Goslar gehört übrigens zum UNESCO Weltkulturerbe.

Fethi Pasa Korusu (Fethi Pasha Grove) is a large park in Istanbul, Turkey, on the hillside coming right down to the Bosphorus shore in the area called Paşalimanı. It is located between Kuzguncuk and Sultantepe neighborhoods in district Uskudar on the Asian side of Istanbul. It is named after Ottoman governor, ambassador and minister Fethi Ahmet Pasha. After long years of neglect, it has been recently renovated and opened to public for recreation. It has a scenic view of Bosphorus Bridge and the European side of Istanbul.
