???????? Lido di Jesolo - Italy | Travel Vlog

We are finally in Lido di Jesolo beach in Italy! I have been looking forward to come here for such a long time, it is one of the closest beaches to Linz-Austria. However, prices are also aimed for Austrians, Swiss and Germans, meaning they are really high during summer. We got a good deal at the end of the season and despite the room was not great, it was worth the €80,00.

Lido di Jesolo is about 1:15hr by bus from Venice and is a really cute beach town. There is a really long promenade full of restaurants and bars and the prices are not so high as in Venice.

The beach itself is really clean and beautiful and totally fits families and young couples, so if you are looking for a place to party hard, it is not here you will find it ;)...

The kiosks at the beach sell street food like french fries and hamburgers, unfortunately no seafood or something lighter, which was a bit of a bummer, since we had to go to the city to get some healthier options.

All in all, it is a great place for a getaway if you live in the west of Austria or Switzerland, despite you shouldn't expect a true Italian experience here. And if you are traveling on a budget, you will need a looot of research to find an acceptable price.

LIDO DI JESOLO ITALY

Lido di Jesolo, is the beach area of the community of Jesolo in the province of Venice, Italy. The place's economy is mostly based on tourism, because of its 15 km-long beach. Each hotel surrounding the beach has its own private section of beach with tables, umbrellas and sun loungers for that perfect holiday.
In this video, we share our holiday in Lido, I hope you enjoy our video and don't forget to subscribe for more videos of Italy and Europe.

Lido di Jesolo, Italy - Beach resort on the Adriatic Sea

Lido di Jesolo is a modern beach resort in north-east Italy, on the Adriatic Sea close to Venice. The resort has a different feel to other Italian towns due to its precise layout and range of tourist based shops and services. The resort is clean and extremely safe making holidays to Lido di Jesolo a popular choice for families.
Like any other Italian tourist town located by the sea, Lido di Jesolo offers amazing cuisine. This coastal town is very popular among European tourists, especially the young ones who are seeking good night life and fun beach activities. Venice is just a boat ride away which makes Lido di Jesolo even more attractive. Thirteen kilometer long sand beach, plethora of bars and lovely weather, Italian food and wine, the Adriatic Sea and European culture and you have the place of your next dream vacation. The best time to visit Lido di Jesolo is during mid spring and late summer. From May to late September, tourist enjoy swimming and tanning because here the warm weather lasts quite long.
With fantastic beaches, numerous bars and cafes and a variety of shops, Lido di Jesolo offers something to keep everyone entertained......

JESOLO in 2023 - VENEZIA ITALY

Hello guys,we have recently been in Jesolo,so we are sharing our adventure with you all, this is a really beautiful place to visit in Venice, especially during summer !!!!
subscribe for more ,it would be really appreciated ^_^

Jesolo is a seaside resort town and comune in the Metropolitan City of Venice, Italy of 26,447 inhabitants. With around six million visitors per year, Jesolo is one of the largest beach resorts in the country, and ranks 7th overall as a tourist destination, and fourth (behind Rimini, Cavallino-Treporti, San Michele al Tagliamento/Bibione) most popular Italian seaside resort. With 204,711.4 visits per thousand inhabitants, it is also one of the 50 Italian towns with the greatest tourist pressure. Its 15 kilometre long beaches and proximity to central Europe make it a favourite destination of many Russian, German, Austrian, Dutch and French visitors.

The town lies north of Venice, between Eraclea and Cavallino-Treporti.
Jesolo is known for its beach.

Jesolo is one of the most fashionable seaside resorts situated on northern Italy’s Adriatic Sea coastline. With beaches, theme parks, watersports and wildlife centers, it attracts a mix of families and young European tourists. Jesolo splits into two distinct areas: Jesolo, an urban and residential town and Lido di Jesolo, a beach suburb. The town of Jesolo straddles the banks of the River Sile, which curves around the northern edge of the Venetian Lagoon. It’s a quiet area home to atmospheric squares such as Piazzetta Jesolo. Visit the elegant Parrocchia San Giovanni Battista, which overlooks the tree-lined Piazza Giacomo Matteotti. Follow trails that skirt the riverbank and pass rolling green countryside. One route leads to the ruins of a medieval tower, Torre del Caligo.High on the agenda for many visitors is the beach, which stretches for around 9 miles (15 kilometers) along the Adriatic Sea. The soft sand and inviting water are an essential part of summers on the Venetian Riviera. Choose between the private clubs with bars and rows of sunbeds or the public access areas. Try kitesurfing, parasailing and windsurfing or join a pirate ship cruise.Running parallel to the beach is Via Bafile, the heart of Lido di Jesolo’s commercial and entertainment district. Browse galleries, handicraft stores, high-end fashion outlets and jewelers, among other retail options. Eat at ice cream parlors, pizzerias and trattorias. Sample the after-dark activities at pubs, open-air nightclubs and wine bars.Enjoy some family-friendly fun on the waterslides at the Caribbean-themed Aqualandia. Get up-close to exotic marine life at Sea Life Jesolo and Tropicarium Park. Ride classic fairground attractions at New Jesolandia and race around a go-kart track at Kartodromo Pista Azzurra. Bring your golf clubs for a round of 18-holes at Golf Club Jesolo or challenge the obstacles at Adventure Golf.Reach Jesolo by taking a bus from Venice and then get around by foot, rented bike and a summer sightseeing bus. Stay at accommodations that are just steps from the glorious beach.

The historic centre of Jesolo offers tourists the possibility to immerse themselves in the folklore and colours of the weekly market, to visit the archaeological ruins and to walk along the river Sile, immersed in the nature. With restaurants and shops, has become Jesolo Paese a compulsory destination for the tourists, an opportunity to enjoy the most traditional and typical aspects of one of the most important seaside resort on the Adriatic coast. Easily reachable by public transport and connected with cycle path, is Jesolo Paese also a departure point for many trips to the hinterland between lagoon and nature, immersed in incredible silences and scents.

Lido di Jesolo Italy Walking Tour in 4K

Already known in the 6th century AD, when some people who had escaped the invasions of barbarians from the north took refuge on the island of Equilio, the first settlement was built in this marshy area in the fifteenth century under the name of Cavazzucherina. Only in the 1920s the Grande Bonifica allowed a first tourist development of the coast and the first factories, the first hotels and the first restaurants were built. In 1927 the Lido di Treviso was built in the central part of the coast.
In 1930 Cavazuccherina was renamed Jesolo and the Lido of Treviso was named Lido di Jesolo. After the war the city experienced an intense growth linked to the tourist industry, becoming one of the most important tourist centers of the Adriatic.

What see
Besides the many natural beauties, Jesolo also offers a lot from the cultural point of view.
In the Pineta area there are the Ancient Walls, a vast archaeological area of approximately 36,000 square meters with finds from the early Christian era. Many of these finds are preserved in the Sala Tiepolo of the APT of Jesolo within a permanent exhibition. To visit in the city there is also the Civic Museum of Natural History with around 15,000 artifacts.

What to do
In Jesolo the holiday is assured relaxation but also and above all fun. Indeed, the city seems to have been built specifically to satisfy every desire, even that of the most demanding tourist.
Fifteen kilometers of equipped beaches, many of them with entertainment; parties in the beaches even until late at night; a large pedestrian area - considered one of the largest in Europe - with shops, restaurants, bars and clubs.
For sports enthusiasts the city offers numerous facilities ranging from water parks, swimming pools, tennis courts, football and volleyball, without forgetting the beautiful golf courses of the Veneto region.
Nature lovers can instead enjoy long walks on foot, horseback or bicycle in the green and peaceful pine forests.

Nearby
Jesolo is a great starting point for real excursions to the lagoon and its surroundings. And among the nearest and certainly interesting places, besides the splendid valleys of the Venice Lagoon, there are Eraclea and Caorle.
Eraclea, of very ancient origins, has a beautiful beach, also known as the Green Pearl of the Adriatic, 3 kilometers long and surrounded by pristine dunes and pine forests. Also characteristic is the so-called Laguna del Mort, a stretch of sea that a strip of land separates from the rest of the Adriatic Sea

Hundestrand in Jesolo

About Venezia :

Venice is a city in northeastern Italy and the capital of the Veneto region. It is built on a group of 118 small islands that are separated by expanses of open water and by canals; portions of the city are linked by over 400 bridges.
The islands are in the shallow Venetian Lagoon, an enclosed bay lying between the mouths of the Po and the Piave rivers (more exactly between the Brenta and the Sile). In 2020, around 258,685 people resided in greater Venice or the Comune di Venezia, of whom around 51,000 live in the historical island city of Venice (centro storico) and the rest on the mainland (terraferma). Together with the cities of Padua and Treviso, Venice is included in the Padua-Treviso-Venice Metropolitan Area (PATREVE), which is considered a statistical metropolitan area, with a total population of 2.6 million.
The city was historically the capital of the Republic of Venice for almost a millennium, from 810 to 1797. It was a major financial and maritime power during the Middle Ages and Renaissance, and a staging area for the Crusades and the Battle of Lepanto, as well as an important centre of commerce—especially silk, grain, and spice, and of art from the 13th century to the end of the 17th. The city-state of Venice is considered to have been the first real international financial centre, emerging in the 9th century and reaching its greatest prominence in the 14th century.
This made Venice a wealthy city throughout most of its history.
For centuries Venice possessed numerous territories along the Adriatic Sea and within the Italian peninsula, leaving a significant impact on the architecture and culture that can still be seen today.
Venice has been known as La Dominante, La Serenissima, Queen of the Adriatic, City of Water, City of Masks, City of Bridges, The Floating City, and City of Canals. The lagoon and the historic parts of the city within the lagoon were inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987, covering an area of 70,176.4 hectares (173,410 acres).
In view of the fact that Venice and its lagoon are under constant threat in terms of their ecology and the safeguarding of the cultural heritage, Venice's UNESCO listing has been under constant examination by UNESCO.
In the 21st century, Venice remains a very popular tourist destination, a major cultural centre, and has been ranked many times the most beautiful city in the world.
It has been described by The Times as one of Europe's most romantic cities and by The New York Times as undoubtedly the most beautiful city built by man. However, the city faces challenges including an excessive number of tourists, pollution, tide peaks and cruise ships sailing too close to buildings.
The city is situated on a group of 118 small islands that are separated by canals and linked by bridges. The historic center of Venice is divided into six districts, or sestieri, which are named Cannaregio, Castello, Dorsoduro, San Marco, San Polo, and Santa Croce.

Venice sits atop alluvial silt washed into the sea by the rivers flowing eastward from the alps across the Veneto plain, with the silt being stretched into long banks, or lidi, by the action of the current flowing around the head of the Adriatic Sea from east to west.

Between autumn and early spring, the city is often threatened by flood tides pushing in from the Adriatic.

Tourism has been a major part of the Venetian economy since the 18th century, when Venice—with its beautiful cityscape, uniqueness, and rich musical and artistic cultural heritage—was a stop on the Grand Tour.
