Licab, the small and peaceful town on the western Nueva Ecija | Philippines | Driving Tour | 4K

Licab is a 4th-class municipality in the province of Nueva Ecija, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 29,269 people.

Licab was originally a sitio under the municipality of Aliaga. It was known as Pulong Samat because it was a wooded area surrounded by rivers and streams. In the early 1900s, the Esguerra brothers arrived from San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte and settled in the area. Don Dalmacio, one of the Esguerra brothers, led the clearing of the vast grasslands and brushwood with his brothers and the locals, subsequently cultivating the area with a bountiful harvest.

The Three Kings Parish Church is the oldest and biggest Spanish colonial church in the province of Nueva Ecija, Philippines located in Gapan City in the southern portion of the province.

The construction of this antique church was completed in 1872. The architectural style of this old church is distinctly Byzantine and is built from blocks of limestone and bricks.

The Three Kings Parish Church was declared as the national shrine of La Virgen Divina Pastora (Divine Sheperdess) on April 26, 1986.

Zaragoza is a municipality in the province of Nueva Ecija, Philippines. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 49,387 people.

It is located at the southern edge of Nueva Ecija bordering the town of La Paz, Tarlac which, due to its proximity, is more closely economically coherent with each other. The newly opened Subic–Clark–Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) ends up in La Paz where it connects to the Santa Rosa-Tarlac Road passing through Zaragoza and Santa Rosa going to Cabanatuan City.

Gabaldon Nueva Ecija has a population of 38,958 people.The municipality is located on the valley situated at the footstep of the Sierra Madre Mountains on the east and the Caraballo Mountains on the west.It lies 171 kilometres (106 mi) north-east of Manila. Gabaldon is bounded by the municipalities of Bongabon to the north, Laur to the west, General Tinio to the south, and Dingalan, Aurora to the east.

Trivia: Agriculture is the main economic source of the municipality with 56% of its land area being used for farming. Rice is the primary crop being cultivated in the municipality's lowland while secondary crops such as onion, corn, garlic, ampalaya, and other crops are cultivated in the uplands. The municipality is one of the top onion producers in the province. Limited livestock, poultry, and fish production are also present.
