Affordable Cities: 10 US Metro Areas With Underrated Livability, Walkability and Transit

Which city should I move to? This is a question people are increasingly asking themselves as the challenge of finding affordable living in coastal and sun belt cities continues to spiral out of reach. Now, we're all for fighting the good fight to get more housing built in the places where people want to live...but for some people, you just can't wait for solutions. Today's video is here to help!

There's a staggering difference in cost of living between the sought-after cities of California (and even skyrocketing cities like Austin and Nashville), and established, legacy cities in other parts of the US. So this video tackles the question of not only what are the most affordable places to live in the US, but where good prices intersect with things city-lovers care about: public amenities, culture, sports, walkability, bike-ability, and transit service.

This is CItyNerd's guide to the ten most underrated cities to move to in the US. Your results may vary, so let me know what you think I overrated or underrated down in the comments!

???? According To Briggs

If you enjoy these videos I would love to hear about it. We look at the best and worst cities, states, towns, and neighborhoods in the United States. Occasionally we do other countries. Most of the time focus on the negative side of locations. That is just what people want to see.
If you only want some happy positive information about a city, town, or state, I would suggest looking up local mortgage and real estate companies or maybe the locations website. They are trying to sell you something so it will be nothing but sunshine, rainbows, and a bunch of smoke up your skirt. They won't tell you about crime, poverty, or insurance you'll need because of natural disasters. I will.

Today we look at the most polluted cities in the United States. There are a number of websites devoted to this subject. Most use data collected by the EPA and other government agencies that focus on the environment. The United States has some really polluted cities. Not nearly as bad as it was in the 1970s, but it still bad.
I hope you enjoy the video.

Top 10 Best Cities to Live in the USA - Job, Retire, Raise a family

Americans are mobile people. In fact, the U.S. Census reports that about one in six Americans move each year.
Though most moves are local, nearly one-sixth of all people who move change states.

Below, check out the top 10 most livable cities of 2019 and why residents love living there:
1. Denver, Colorado. (Best place for young professionals, finding a job)

Top 10 States with the least diversity.

Top 10 States with the least diversity

Today we are going to tackle a tough list that I get asked about all the time. Diversity. The United States is a melting pot, ever since the first native American saw a sailing ship on the horizon and thought “Oh look visitors. We should have dinner with them, I’m sure they’re fine, they’re just visiting.” Today it is a hot button political issue. Diversity is more than just racial differences. It reflects a populations mix of not just races but also cultures, religions, economic status, and other characteristics. If you’re looking for a new place to live, it might be important to you if a state has a good amount of diversity. A diverse state can offer rich opportunities to experience different food, people, cultural events and very colorful parades.
WalletHub did some research and ranked all the states for 1st to 50th in different categories related to diversity. I jumped on the U.S. Census website and got some more data. WalletHub ranked diversity in five categories: socioeconomic diversity, cultural diversity, economic diversity, household diversity, and religious diversity.

Louisiana - The 10 Best Places To Live & Work - Family, Retiree, Affordable - Around The World

Louisiana is a southeastern U.S. state on the Gulf of Mexico, it's one of the best states to live in the United States, with affordable housing, great public and private schools, and safe cities.
